Veronica: Hehehe, we vampires drain power! And this is what I'm going to do to your Kazoashi! I activate my Draining Shield! (Draining Shield|Normal Trap|Negate the attack of 1 of your opponent's monsters and increase your Life Points by an amount equal to the attacking monster's ATK.) First, it'll add its attack points to my life points, then it will negate the attack!

Veronica: *gets shocked and opens eyes wide* What are you talking about?! Has Jerry Oldmaster brainwashed you like he did to Cindy?!

Mare: Jerry has nothing to deal with any chaos going on here.. he has got a brother to save, and he has got an experience training to improve his job. What you and the other agents did is just silly...

Veronica: Ugh, well why are you being so nice to him if there's nobody darker than you on planet Earth?!

Mare: Mr. Vampyre fed you up with ideas, that any dark person can do, and here's why I don't love you: You're too selfish to fall in his ideas. I never liked selfish people and people who risk their lives for relationships, those are just dogs and puppies that think love is ever going to make them superior. I don't need love anymore.

Veronica: Mare.. try to understand me! I'm doing this all for your sake!

Mare: *deep laugh*

Veronica: What?! This is a serious moment, Mare! I mean it!

Mare: Really? If you're that serious, *deep laughs* then aren't you smart enough to figure out that Mr. Vampyre is just using you to add me into his army...

Veronica: I don't care about Mr. Vampyre! I'm doing this for you!

Mare: Has anybody ever told you.. 'I don't need your help'? *deep laugh* Yes! I don't need your help, you selfish puppy!

Veronica: Mare.. *tears fall from her eyes* How could you... he really brainwashed you..

Mare: Really, brainwashed me? You just said before a moment that I'm the darkest person on Planet Earth.. *deep laugh* You're stupid. I can kill you if I wanted to.. *raises a katana* I don't care about you anymore.. you're just another puppy..

Veronica: MARE! I loved you.. and I still do!

Mare: Congratulations.. you reached the last level of your seflishness.

Veronica: Grr! How could you, you piece of jerk! What feelings do you have?!

Mare: Pity, pity and pity. It's the 8th deadly sin in my opinion.

Veronica: Ughh... I hate you, Mare Octavius!

Mare: The feeling's mutual. Anyways, I end my turn.

Veronica: *draws a card and looks at it (4 cards in hand)* Yes! *deep laugh* I will revenge from you, first, I will activate my Spell Card Premature Burial! (Premature Burial|Equip Spell|Pay 800 life points. Select 1 Monster Card from your Graveyard, Special Summon it on the field in face-up Attack Position, and equip it with this card. When this card is destroyed, the monster is also destroyed.) By using this spell card, I can return back a monster from my graveyard by just paying 800 Life Points, and I return back my Vampire Lord!

Veronica: But that isn't all, because now I'll remove from play my Vampire Lord.. in order to Special Summon this great monster! Vampire Genesis! Discard 1 Zombie-Type monster from your hand to the Graveyard to select and Special Summon 1 Zombie-Type monster from your Graveyard with a Level less than the discarded Zombie-Type monster. Mare: Hehehe, what a little 'sucker'.

Veronica: Hmph! You'll see! Vampire Genesis, attack Kuriwikioh!

Mare: (Yeah, good one.. *looks at Premature Burial in his hand* but I've already planned for it)

Veronica: Blood Sucker! Attack directly!

Veronica: When Blood Sucker inflicts damage to your Life Points, you must discard the top card of your deck!

Mare: *discards the top card of his deck*

Veronica: And now, I end my turn!

Veronica: What?! Impossible!

Mare: Yes, it's possible. That's why I'm the top agent of DCEO.. I play the right cards at the right time. Kuriwikioh, finish her and her Blood Sucker!

Veronica: No way! *turns back into a human* You don't want me.. *looks down on the ground* But because I will always love you, and I will work by your advice to prove it.. I will never rely on love in my life.. *tears falls from her eyes*

Mare: Silly you. I was just trying to let you forget that idea *opens his arms* Come here now..

Veronica: R-Really?

Mare: Yeah..

Veronica runs to Mare's arms and he hugs her..

Mare: You know I missed you..

Veronica: I missed you too, Mare.. you don't know how horrible it is for me..

Mare: I know..

Mr. Vampyre comes out of his bat form which has been watching the whole duel and heads towards Mare and Veronica

Mr. Vampyre: I'm sorry to interrupt this emotional moment.. but I think it's pay time for finishing off all my soldiers, hmm?

Mare: *laughs deeply* Your.. army?

Mr. Vampyre: Yes, what's making you laugh? Maybe you've become crazy after seeing so much people getting into my army, huh?

Mare: Oh, I thought you were the crazy one... your vampire soldiers are all weak, and none of them are challenging, so I'm guessing you're the same as your soldiers..

Veronica: No, Mare! He's strong.. he defeated me and Jason and all of these duelists who became his army!

Mare: And I defeated them all, too... even you and Jason. *raises his thumb up to Veronica* I'll beat him for ya, babe..

Veronica: *smiles and looks at Mare* I'm sure you will..

Mr. Vampyre: I'm sorry, but I've got a date to follow too.. so let's hurry up with this, don't you agree? *standbys his duel disk and draws 5 cards*

And then I'll activate his effect, by discarding Pyramid Turtle from my hand, then I can summon it! Then, I'll end my turn.

(Dark Spirit - Tsukurowan|4|1900|1000|When this card is Normal Summoned or Flip Summoned, you can discard 1 card from your hand in order to add 1 "Dark Spirit" monster from your deck to your hand.) And I will activate its special effect. By discarding 1 card from my hand, I can add 1 Dark Spirit monster from my deck to my hand. *discards Dark Spirit - Okaizome* And I'll add my Dark Spirit King - Kuriwikioh to my hand. Mare: I don't see how are you going to ever defeat my Tsukurowan with these crap monsters?

Mr. Vampyre: I'll defeat him with the weakest.. hehehe, just watch. Pyramid Turtle, attack Tsukurowan!

Mare: *sweat drop*

Mr. Vampyre: Look at what my Pyramid Turtle can do! I activate its effect, when it's destroyed I can summon a Zombie from my deck with 2000 DEF or less... go, summon Ryu Kokki! (Ryu Kokki|6|2400|2000|If a monster that battles with this monster is a Warrior or Spellcaster-Type monster, destroy that monster at the end of the Damage Step.) And now, Ryu Kokki, destroy his Tsukurowan!

Mare: Nice.

Mr. Vampyre: Now, Master Kyonshee, Zombie Master... attack directly!

Mr. Vampyre: Hey, don't you think I'm a dreamer about making armies.. I made a lot and I'm older than you and everybody in this world...

Mare: What do you mean you're older?

Mr. Vampyre: I've been alive for hundreds of years. During the medieval age, I formed my own military army, and I attacked a lot of small villages and conquered them.. however, the Europeans knew about it, and they sent their troops to free the village and demolish my small empire. They successfully did, and they killed all of my troops until I escaped and lost them, and in a cave.. I found a spellbook of immortality and power.. and I read its spells until I was cursed the curse of a vampire. The light was going to kill me, so I took a tomb from there and slept in it... until I woke up and I became the wandering Mr. Vampyre.

Mare: Hehehe, so you're a loser even in your past..

Mr. Vampyre: Shut up! This really affects my feelings!

Mare: *deep laugh* Even with your high dueling skills, you don't deserve to be my rival..

Mr. Vampyre: What are you talking about?! I deserve to be more than just your rival..

Mare: Actually, you deserve to be my dog.. if we're going to be compared by the rate of our darkness. You have a lot of feelings, and your comebacks are weak like you..

Mr. Vampyre: I'm not weak! Actually, all of our bad memories make monsters out of us! No one is just dark for no reason!

Veronica: T-That's true..

Mare: That's true, for most of the people. However, there are a few people who are dark by themselves, are naturally born dark. Just like me *deep laugh* and I don't mean pretenders or cosplayers, I mean really dark, just as you can see my darkness... I've killed a lot, and in fact *deep laugh* killing and humiliating people is my pleasure!

Mr. Vampyre: You're insane!

Mare: I've heard that from many people... I don't really care. All I care about is having pleasure doing these stuff.

Mr. Vampyre: Grr..

Mare: After that, I'll set a face-down card and end my turn.

Mare: So it's my turn then! *draws a card and looks at it (4 cards in hand)* Hmm, this is quite good. First, I'll summon my Dark Spirit - Okaizome! (Dark Spirit - Okaizome|4|1500|1000|You can remove this card in your graveyard from play in order to decrease your opponent's Life Points by the number of "Dark Spirit" monsters in your graveyard x500.) Mare: Yes. My Kuriwikioh has evolved into this great god, the god of Dark Spirits - Kurikigami! This is what I call... the Divine Evolution!

Mr. Vampyre: Grr.. that was just out of your luck!

Mare: No.. Dark Spirits are special monsters, more than you think. They serve whoever is darker, and slay those light wimps that try to possess their powers. For ages, people tried to gain this great dark power, but none of them knew that it only served the dark ones, the really dark ones. A lot of people have been put under social and physical humiliation from these monsters, and they awaited the destined child to be born, who could lead them and the darkness in the way to humiliate these posers, punish those who ever though they are dark but they're not, and those who tried to be dark so they can achieve ultimate power! Darkness will punish those who pretend to be dark! And there's the right leader for the Dark Spirits!

Veronica: M-Mare... no way..

Mr. Vampyre: Who is supposed to be their leader?! Is it you?!

Mare: Well, now you have guessed it... you little poser! I'll show you the power of my Dark Spirits! *a black aura surrounds Mare* Kurikigami, annihilate his pathetic king of skulls!

LP Count: 1850 (Mare) - 5100 (Mr. Vampyre)

Mr. Vampyre: *holds his heart* What is this?! Ughh, all of my body hurts, my mind, my heart, why am I getting physical pain?!

Mare: Do not EVER underestimate the powers of my Dark Spirits! Besides their dueling powers, and that they're invincible, they have more power than you can imagine!

Mr. Vampyre: But... I am Mr. Vampyre... I'm dark!

Mare: Stop pretending! With all the power of my Dark Spirits, avenging for their defeat, I will activate my first Okaizome's effect! I'll remove it from play from my graveyard, dealing you 3000 points of damage!

LP Count: 1850 (Mare) - 2100 (Mr. Vampyre)

Mare: And my second Okaizome will take the next job! 2500 points of damage!

Suddenly, Mr. Vampyre looks and sees nothing, but him on a dark ground, with sky red and black, then sees the Dark Spirits he destroyed surrounding him, looking at him hatefully, and hears Mare's voice from the sky

Mare's Voice: Welcome to your own hell! I will make sure you'll never go out!

The Dark Spirits turn into soldiers, and Kuriwikioh turns into the leader of the European army that defeated him long ago

Army Leader: You're defeated again, Vampyre... you'll never make it, you'll never succeed!

The army with the leader laughs, and they are all chucking and looking at him, getting closer and closer

Mr. Vampyre: No! NO! NO!

Mare's Voice: You'll never exit your nightmare! You will pay for all you've done!

Mr. Vampyre: Please! Have mercy...

Mare's Voice: DIE!

Mr. Vampyre: No.. NO.. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

Mr. Vampyre gets caught by the army, and a carnage is created by them, slaying him ferociously..

DCEO Medical Center - 1:10 AM

Jason: Dr. Helen, is Cindy okay?

Dr. Helen: Seems so. Dark blood in her is curing every single scar and pain that has been caused by the vampire!

Jerry: What?!

James: That's scientifically impossible!

Dr. Helen: I agree, Mr. Techy. Her body could be a new generation of human evolution, if I was just allowed to do some tests on her--

Jerry: Shut up!

Dr. Helen: That wasn't very polite, Mr. Oldmaster...

Jerry: I said, shut up! No one will do tests or anything on my love's body! She was never a test rat, and she isn't, and never will be! *smiles* But, I know what's the cause of this, or shall I say "who"?

Dr. Helen: Excuse me, what are you talking about?

Jerry: This dark blood is only a gift from a friend, *closes his eyes* (Thank you, Mare..)

Domino City Alleys - 1:15 AM

Mare: Now, my Okaizome has defeated you. Pay for the pretending you've done, and the stupid things you've done to people! *raises his katanas*

Veronica: No, Mare! Don't do it! I don't want to see this carnage!

Mare: Then, you can look away.

Veronica: *looks away and closes her eyes* (I just hope you stop being a sadist, Mare..)

Mare: Pay time! *raises his katanas high then starts to cut parts of the body, and the zoom-out of the alleys are shown (PREVENTING VIOLENT SCENES)*

An insane scream heard from Mr. Vampyre has echos in the alleys, and Mare is heard shouting "You will pay hard!"

Jerry: Cindy, are you alright?

Cindy: Yes, I'm fine. ^^ I'm glad you're here with me. Dr. Helen said that I will be able to get out of the bed tomorrow.

Jerry: By the way, Cindy.. *shy face*

Cindy: What, Jerry? ^^

Jerry: Here, I want to give you this.. *picks up Lightning Vortex from his pocket* A dear person gave it to me.. I think it should be yours now, as a gift from me.

Cindy hugs Jerry, and Jerry seems very shy

Cindy: I love you, Jerry..

Jerry: ^^ I love you, too..

Jason: Chris, give me a high five for our newest failure in getting Cindy.

Chris: Sure

Jason and Chris: Failure!

Veronica: *opens the door* Guys, you won't believe what happened yesterday night..

Jason: I know, Mare defeated Mr. Vampyre and cut him into pieces. As ever, that guy likes 'cutting' a lot.

Veronica: Well, yes he did! But that isn't the only thing he's done that duel... he summoned a new god, called Kurikigami. He's also turned weird after it, and he called himself the leader of Dark Spirits. He also had a dark aura surrounding him!

The crowd laughs

Chris: Alright, Veron, Mare is weird, dark and lonely, but not the leader of Dark Spirits, and all this stuff, and magical auras or whatever. I think you're suffering mentally from the vampire bite..

Veronica: I'm not mentally suffering! And never ever call me Veron!

Chris: Sure, Veron. ;)

Veronica: Grr... *gets mad and punches Chris in the face* IDIOT!

Chris: *fell on the ground* Do you know you look beautiful when angry?

Veronica: You pervert..

Jerry: Well, ya know, Veronica, I think I believe you. ^^ A miracle happened that way.

Veronica: You really do?

Jerry: Technically, yeah. Cindy, excuse me for a minute, gotta see someone quickly.

Cindy: Don't be late, 'hon.

Jerry: Don't worry, I won't.. ^^ *leaves his hands from holding Cindy's, and places the Lightning Vortex card in her hand, then goes out of the medical room..* (Wow, she called me hon. Anyways, it's time to see who saved my girlfriend..)

Jerry walks into the medical hallway, and finds Mare standing besides a wall, looking away

Jerry: Hey, Mare..

Mare: Aye.

Jerry: Just wanted to say thanks, for what you've done to Cindy.

Mare: No problem. *shows a thumbs up to Jerry*

Jerry: (I guess even the leader of Dark Spirits can be nice.. ^^) Yeah.

Cindy: Jerry! Come here, Chris has started flirting!

Jerry: Gotta go.. for my girlfriend! *goes running to the room* Chris, I'll kill you!

Mare: Veronica, I've seen you.

Veronica: Yeah, well, I was scared last night.

Mare: Come here.. *opens his arms* you won't be scared. *hugs Veronica*
