Mr. Theasius: It's your turn now.

Slade: [ draws a card and looks at it ] Alright, then, I will change my Scarr, Sillva and Goldd to defense mode. I'll then end my turn.

Mr. Theasius: Pity that's all you can do! [ draws a card and looks at it ] Hmm, this seems good. Alright, then, I summon my Gladiator Beast Bestiari in attack mode! (Gladiator Beast Bestiari|4|1500|800|When this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a "Gladiator Beast" monster, destroy 1 Spell or Trap Card on the field. At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card attacked or was attacked, you can return it to the Deck to Special Summon 1 "Gladiator Beast" monster from your Deck, except "Gladiator Beast Bestiari".) And now, I will attack with my monsters! First off, Bestiari, destroy his Sillva! [ Bestiari launches a feather attack and destroys Sillva who's in defense mode ]

Slade: Hmph..

Mr. Theasius: Now, Alexander, attack his Goldd! [ Alexander jumps high in the air, then uses his fangs to slash Goldd and destroy him ]

Slade: (He seems good, he hasn't destroyed my Scarr yet to not let me use his effect, but it's going to be destroyed by battle sooner or later..)

Mr. Theasius: And now, I will return my Bestiari to my deck, and Special Summon this! Gladiator Beast Murmillo! (Gladiator Beast Murmillo|3|800|400|When this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a "Gladiator Beast" monster, destroy 1 face-up monster on the field. If this card battles, by returning it from the field to the Deck at the end of the Battle Phase, you can Special Summon 1 "Gladiator Beast" monster from your Deck, except "Gladiator Beast Murmillo".) And by its effect, when it's summoned by the effect of a Gladiator Beast, I can destroy 1 face-up monster on the field, and of course, I choose your Scarr!

Slade: Argh, you planned for this..

Mr. Theasius: Yes, and now to the next plan! My Colosseum's effect activates! [ Light shines on the crystal sword, and then the sword starts glowing, then the Gladiator Beasts look above, and they glow to make their attack points raise by 100, as Alexander becomes 2500 ATK and Murmillo 900 ATK. ]

Slade: Hmph.. more attack points..

Mr. Theasius: Exactly. I set a face-down card, then end my turn.

Slade: [ draws a card and looks at it ] Well, it's my turn then. And now it's time to stop your Gladiators. I'll activate my spell card, Dark World Dealings! And as you know, we both draw and discard..

Mr. Theasius: Yes, I know.. [ draws a card, and discards a Gladiator Beast Torax ]

Slade: [ draws a card and discards a Broww, Huntsman of Dark World I've discarded my Broww, and of course, you know what that means.. I get to draw 1 more card from my deck. [ draws a card and looks at it ] And now, I summon my Zure, Knight of Dark World! (Zure, Knight of Dark World|4|1800|1500) Zure, attack his Gladiator Beast Murmillo! [ Zure raises his sword, and runs to attack Murmillo, but then when he slashes a cylinder appears, and another one appears, with Zure's illusion running and attacking Slade ] What?!

Mr. Theasius: It's my face-down trap card, Magic Cylinder! (Magic Cylinder|Normal Trap|Negate the attack of 1 of your opponent's monsters and inflict damage to your opponent equal to that monster's ATK.) And now, you receive 1800 damage thanks to its effect, and Zure's attack is negated!

Slade: Hmph, nice.. I'll end my turn..

Mr. Theasius: My turn now! [ draws a card and looks at it ] Nice. I activate my Spell Card, Gladiator's Return! (Gladiator's Return|Normal Spell|Return 3 "Gladiator Beast" monsters from your Graveyard to your Deck, then draw 1 card.) With this card's effect, I can return 3 Gladiator Beasts in my graveyard to my deck, and then draw a card. I return my Torax, Secutor and Laquari! [ returns cards from his graveyard to his deck, then draws a card and looks at it ] Alright, I summon my Gladiator Beast Hoplomus! (Gladiator Beast Hoplomus|4|700|2100|When this card is Special Summoned by the effect of a "Gladiator Beast" monster, the original DEF of this card becomes 2400. If this card battles, by returning it from the field to the Deck at the end of the Battle Phase, Special Summon 1 "Gladiator Beast" monster from your Deck, except "Gladiator Beast Hoplomus".) [ Hoplomus raises his head and looks at the sky above, and then glows by the effect of Colosseum, making his ATK 800 ] Alright, now, Alexander, destroy Zure! Mr. Theasius: First off, to save Murmillo for another time, and second, to raise my Gladiator's attack! And now, I return my Gladiator Beast Spartacus and Secutor to my deck in order to summon this magnificent monster.. Gladiator Beast Gaiodiaz! (Gladiator Beast Gaiodiaz|7|2600|1500|This card can only be Special Summoned from the Fusion Deck by returning the above Fusion Material Monsters from the field to the Deck. (You do not use "Polymerization"). When this card destroys a monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the DEF of the destroyed monster. If this card battles, by returning it from the field to the Fusion Deck at the end of the Battle Phase, Special Summon 2 "Gladiator Beast" monsters from your Deck, except "Gladiator Beast Spartacus".) [ Gladiator Beast Gaiodiaz lands from the sky, and onto the ground, then looks up to the sky, closes his eyes, and glows, to make his attack then 2900 ]

Slade: (Hmm, this is a very strong monster! I must defeat it or I might lose.. which I obviously don't want to..)

Mr. Theasius: And now, I'll equip my Gladiator's Battle Manica to my Gaiodiaz! (Gladiator's Battle Manica|Equip Spell|Equip only to a "Gladiator Beast" monster. It cannot be destroyed by battle. (Damage calculation is applied normally). When the equipped monster is returned from your side of the field to the Deck and this card is sent to the Graveyard, return this card to your hand.) [ Gaiodiaz shouts for his Manica, and it comes right in his hand, then he raises it and points it at Slade, threatening him ] Now, by my Manica's effect, Gaiodiaz cannot be destroyed as a result of battle! I end my turn.

Slade: It's my turn then... [ draws a card and looks at it ] (Hmm, this is good) Alright, I will activate my spell card, Pot of Avarice! (Pot of Avarice|Normal Spell|Select 5 Monster Cards from your Graveyard, then add them to your Deck and shuffle it. After that, draw 2 cards.) By this card's effect, I can return 5 monsters from my graveyard to my deck, and draw 2 cards. I return back my Goldd, Sillva, Brron, Scarr and Zure back to my deck! [ returns the cards from his graveyard to his deck, then draws 2 cards and looks at them ] Hmm, I'll set 1 face-down card, and end my turn.

Mr. Theasius: [ draws a card and looks at it ] (Alright, if these attacks succeed, I'll win this duel).. Alright, let's go, Gaiodiaz, attack him directly! [ Gaiodiaz runs and then raises his axe and attacks, but his axe is dodged by a circle which stops the attack, then Gaiodiaz jumps back to Theasius's side of the field ] What?!

Slade: I've activated my face-down trap card, Negate Attack! (Negate Attack|Counter Trap|Activate only when an opponent's monster declares an attack. Negate the attack of that 1 monster and end the Battle Phase.) When this card is activated, your monster's attack is negated and the Battle Phase is ended! Which means, I'm saved this turn.

Mr. Theasius: You are, but next turn, my gladiators will crush you, and my wife will be back to me.

Slade: We'll see, Theasius..

Mr. Theasius: Yes, we will. I end my turn.

Slade: [ draws a card and looks at it ] Hahaha, your arrogance have totally controlled you and now, you're going to pay for it.

Mr. Theasius: What do you mean?

Slade: I won't have to explain, this will explain it all by itself. I activate my Spell Card, Lightning Vortex! (Lightning Vortex|Normal Spell|Discard 1 card. Destroy all face-up monsters your opponent controls.) By simply discarding a card from my hand as a cost, I can destroy all face-up monsters you control! [ The sky of Colosseum cracks, with lightning coming out of the clouds, then a vortex, coming from underneath the sword, is trying to suck Gaiodiaz and Alexander but they're resisting, then the lightning strikes them and they lose defense and get sucked in the vortex, then the vortex and lightning stop, and the field is a clear colosseum ]

Mr. Theasius: No way! Gaiodiaz, Alexander! They've been destroyed..

Slade: Do not be so overarrogant when you gain advantage.. an advice from the one who is going to defeat you hardly. I summon my Brron, Mad King of Dark World! And now, Brron, attack him and end him!

Mr. Theasius: No way!

Slade: Yes way, Brron, destroy him!

[ LP Count: 0 (Mr. Theasius) / 3800 (Slade) ]

Mr. Theasius: N-No way..

Slade: You're coming with me! [ Slade jumps over to Mr. Theasius, then covers his mouth with a drug to make him knock out, and then holds him on his shoulder, and gets out.. ]

DCEO Headquarters, 8:30 AM

Crystalline: Agents, please pay attention. Mr. Theasius is gone for a while, and a new manager will replace him at this time. Everyone please welcome our new temporary manager, Mr. Irwin Wilson. [ A bold man with a secret agent suit, glasses and a small chin beard. ]

Mr. Wilson: Hello, everyone. I'm Mr. Wilson, the new temporary manager. I'm going to moderate things around here while Mr. Theasius is back. Please be mission-ready, and hard-working. I will not accept wimps or weaklings.

Chris: Why did they take out Mr. Theasius?! He was cute..

Jason: "Cute"? Between all of the English adjectives.. um, is there some theory around here?

Chris: Technically.. yes! DCEO - Mr. Theasius + Mr. Wilson = BOOORING...

Jason: Agreed. Gimme failure high-five, Chris!

Chris and Jason: FAILURE HIGH-FIVE!

Mr. Wilson: Agent Techy, Agent Goth, I want to see the 3rd floor of DCEO cleaned up by 1 PM, and by you. Now go and begin cleaning.

Chris: Jason, I think I got a theory.. about a failure "low-five".. [ Jason looks at him mad and furious, while Chris gets afraid of that look ] Uh, nevermind.. ^^;

Mare: (There is something that isn't comfortable about this "Mr. Wilson". Why'd Mr. Theasius disappear all of a sudden?)

[ Jerry, next to Cindy, looks at Mare who's thinking deeply and looking at Mr. Wilson ]

Jerry: (What is he thinking of? Does he have something we don't know about with Mr. Wilson? Does he know him?)

Chris: Phew, Jason.. [ wips his sweat over from the small part of his forehead under the goggles ] Today was so much work..

Jason: Indeed.. this new manager is really harsh... he made us clean all the floors of DCEO because you kept talking loudly in front of him... geez..

Chris: I was only speaking my theories..

Jason: Yeah, theories.. like that Cat + Puppy = Capuppy theory.. [ sweat drops ]

Chris: Heh.. ^^;

[ Cindy walks by, yawning and looking sleepy at Jason and Chris ]

Cindy: Heya, guys..

Jason and Chris: Hello, Cindy!

Cindy: [ yawn ] Any of you two guys seen Jerry?

Chris: He's been out wi[ LP Count: 7400 (Jerry) / 3200 (Black Spider) ] th Mare on a mission 2 hours ago.. but anyways, I thought about a new theory, Cindy... you + I = good couple..

Cindy: Ah, [ yawn ] change the result to "bad couple" and it'll turn out just right! ^^

Jason: [ giggles ] You got owned, man..

Cindy: [ hears Jason and looks back annoyed ] You aren't that good either, you left me fight a mad fat woman because you were busy with your "cleaning".. like ewww..

Jason: Well, Chris, we're equal now. You know what to do.

Chris: Yep.

Jason and Chris: Failure high-five!

Jason: Uh, Chris.. about lost comrade stuff and all..

Jason: Veronica's over there at the elevator door..

[ Chris looks at the elevator door, and sees Veronica wet and with seaweed and sea dirt all over her.. and tries to laugh but Veronica starts running after him ]

Jerry: Man, that was an army of duelists. All with clubs and stuff, reminds me of zombie films.

[ The phone in Mare's pocket rings, and Mare answers ]

Mare: Hello?

Mr. Wilson (on phone): Agent Octavius, there's a new and critical mission and I need you and Agent Oldmaster there. The same sewer you previously fought the criminal Black Spider, a similar figure is back again and is shocking many kidnapped duelists. You and Agent Oldmaster need to be there quickly.

Mare: Understood. [ closes the cell phone ] New mission. Follow me.

Jerry: A new mission?! I haven't eaten my dinner.. who could be so annoying to start his crimes just right we arrived to DCEO..

Mare: Black Spider.

Jerry: [ sweat drop ] Ah, it figures...

Mare: Let's go, then. [ starts running quickly while Jerry runs after him ]

Domino City Sewer -- 8:45 PM

Black Spider (with more cyborg parts, particularly the human ones that Mare killed): And now, my dearie, you've lost the duel and it's time for you to get some "shocking action".

Duelist: No, no, NO!

Black Spider: Yes, yes, YES! [ Black Spider raises his cyborg arm, electronic shockwaves revolve around his arm's opening, and then he fires at the duelist, but a shuriken is thrown to dodge the attack, as Black Spider looks shocked.. he looks in front of him and finds Mare and Jerry ] Well well, look who it is! Agent Mare Octavius from the DCEO! I bet you know I'm unsatisfied from our last duel, so I'm going to--

Jerry: --revenge? Well, I want to avenge my dinner! And, if you want to get to Mare, get past me first..

Black Spider: Hahahaha! Is that so? Well, a weak hindrance like you will be easy to defeat..

Jerry: I want to see you try and defeat me...

Black Spider: Do you dare and try to tease me?! [ standbys his duel disk ] Let's do this!

Jerry: The faster I defeat you, the earlier I can have my dinner. [ standbys his duel disk and draws 5 cards ]

Black Spider: I'll start! [ draws 6 cards, and looks at them ] Alright, I'll start by summoning my Hunter Dragon! (Hunter Dragon|3|1700|100) Next, I'll set a face-down card and end my turn!

Jerry: It's my turn now! [ draws a card and looks at it ] Alright, I'll discard my Gravekeeper's Commandant in order to add 1 Necrovalley from my deck to my hand! Next, I will activate my Necrovalley! (Necrovalley|Field Spell|Negate the effects of Spell, Trap and Monster Cards that affect a card(s) in the Graveyard. Neither player can remove from play cards in the Graveyard. All "Gravekeeper's" monsters gain 500 ATK and DEF.) [ The field is surrounded by mountains, while Jerry, Mare and Black Spider are in this virtual valley view ] Seeing you're using a Cyberdark deck, countering you with Necrovalley is the best idea that came to my mind!

Mare: (Impressive. Jerry is using his mind and unlimited spirit in this duel. If he stays like that, he might win.)

Black Spider: Damn.. good move, chump.. but I still have my dragons..

Jerry: And I've got my Gravekeepers! I'll now summon this! Gravekeeper's Spear Soldier! (Gravekeeper's Spear Soldier|4|1500|1000|When this card attacks with an ATK that is higher than the DEF of your opponent's Defense Position monster, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points.) [ Spear Soldier is summoned, and since he's on Necrovalley, he bows with his spear, to gain 500 additional ATK and make his ATK 2000, then gets up again ] And now, Spear Soldier, attack his Hunter Dragon! [ Spear Soldier runs fast, then jumps highly and kills Hunter Dragon by putting his spear in the dragon's forehead ]

[ LP Count: 8000 (Jerry) / 7700 (Black Spider) ]

Black Spider: Hmph.. impressive, brat..

Jerry: And now, I'll set a face-down card and end my turn!

Black Spider: It's my turn, then. [ draws a card and looks at it ] Oh, goodie! First off, I'm going to summon my Spear Dragon! (Spear Dragon|4|1900|0|During battle between this attacking card and a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the ATK of this card, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent's Life Points. If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Damage Step.) And next, I'm going to equip it with this card! Dragon Treasure! (Dragon Treasure|Equip Spell|A Dragon-Type monster equipped with this card increases its ATK and DEF by 300 points.) [ Spear Dragon gets equipped with a gem on its back, making its DEF 300 and its ATK 2200 ]

Jerry: Impressive! Your deck doesn't depend only on your Cyberdarks like it used to before!

Black Spider: Yes, and that's thanks to my master.

Jerry: Your master?

Black Spider: Yes, my master, and I'm not stupid enough to tell you who it is, if you'll ever know him anyways.

Mare: (Hmm, Black Spider and his new master might have to deal with Mr. Theasius's mysterious leave. Whatever he was to do, there was important work at the DCEO and he never got out of his office or even talked to us except when there's missions.. but I will find out the truth about this sooner or later.)

Jerry: Whatever.

Black Spider: Now, I'll attack your Gravekeeper's Spear Soldier with my Spear Dragon! [ Spear Dragon flies high in the air, then his gem glows and he attacks with a wind attack with his spear towards Spear Soldier, who's trying to dodge it but later fails and gets destroyed ]

[ LP Count: 7800 (Jerry) / 7700 (Black Spider) ]

Black Spider: After that, I'll end my turn!

Jerry: It's my turn! [ draws a card and looks at it ] Alright, I will set a face-down monster and end my turn!

Black Spider: Ha! Pity that's all you can do. [ draws a card and looks at it ] Alright, now I will summon my Masked Dragon! (Masked Dragon|3|1400|1100|When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 Dragon-Type monster with 1500 or less ATK from your Deck.) And next, I will attack your face-down card with it!

Jerry: Excellent! I reveal my face-down monster, Gravekeeper's Guard! (Gravekeeper's Guard|4|1000|1900|FLIP: Return 1 monster on your opponent's side of the field to its owner's hand.) [ Gravekeeper's Guard appears, and Masked Dragon attacks it but goes back being pushed, as Gravekeeper's Guard starts glowing, having 2400 DEF and returning Spear Dragon to Black Spider's hand ]

Black Spider; What?! My Spear Dragon! My Dragon Treasure!

Jerry: My guard has 2400 defense, which is slightly higher than your Masked Dragon's ATK. Also, when your Spear Dragon's removed from the field, equip spells go, and my guard has merely returned your dragon to your hand! That means I don't have to worry about Dragon Treasure anymore.

Black Spider: Grr.. good move, you brat. I end my turn.

Jerry: It's my turn again! [ draws a card and looks at it ] Alright, first off, I'm going to activate my face-down Trap Card! Rite of Spirit! (Rite of Spirit|Normal Trap|Select 1 Monster Card that includes "Gravekeeper's" in its card name from your Graveyard and Special Summon it. This card's activation and effect are unaffected by "Necrovalley".) And by its effect, I'm going to summon my destroyed Spear Soldier!

Black Spider: Wait! How can you do that when your Necrovalley is on the field?!

Jerry: Simple! My Rite of Spirit's effect and activation are unaffected by Necrovalley!

Black Spider: Ugh..

Jerry: Next, I'm going to summon this! Gravekeeper's Assailant! (Gravekeeper's Assailant|4|1500|1500|You cannot activate this card's effect unless "Necrovalley" is on the field. When this card declares an attack, you can change the battle position of 1 face-up monster on your opponent's side of the field.) I change my Gravekeeper's Guard to attack position. And now, I'm going to attack your Masked Dragon with it! Go!

Black Spider: Hmph..

Jerry: But still, there's a good effect for Assailant! When it declares an attack, I can return a face-up monster on your side of the field, and I choose your Masked Dragon!

Black Spider: Damn!

Jerry: Now, Assailant, attack directly!

Black Spider: Not so fast! I activate my face-down Trap Card, Enchanted Javelin! (Enchanted Javelin|Normal Trap|Increase your Life Points by the ATK of 1 attacking monster.) [ As Spear Soldier is charging, a javelin appears and gets destroyed, increasing Black Spider's Life Points by Spear Soldier's attack, but he is still attacked.. and no change happens to his Life Points. ]

Jerry: Hmph, I end my turn.

Black Spider: [ draws a card and looks at it ] I'll summon back my Spear Dragon! Next, I will attack your Gravekeeper's Guard with it! Go! [ Spear Dragon flies up in the air, then bursts out flames from its mouth to burn Gravekeeper's Guard and destroy him ]

Black Spider: And my Spear Dragon's effect will allow me to change it to defense position after it attacks! (I might survive next turn if it stayed like this..) After that, I end my turn!

Jerry: [ draws a card and looks at it ] Alright, it's time to end this joke and let me win!

Black Spider: What?!

Jerry: I tribute my Gravekeeper's Spear Soldier in order to summon this great monster.. Gravekeeper's Chief! (Gravekeeper's Chief|5|1900|1200|You can only control 1 "Gravekeeper's Chief" at a time. Your Graveyard is unaffected by "Necrovalley". When this card is Tribute Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Gravekeeper's" monster from your Graveyard.) [ Gravekeeper's Chief is summoned, and glows quickly to make his ATK 2400, then he raises his serpent magical staff and calls back Gravekeeper's Spear Soldier

Black Spider: Ughh...

Jerry: And now, Spear Soldier, attack Black Spider directly!

Black Spider: Hmph.. 1 more attack and--

Black Spider: NOOO!!

[ Black Spider then gets red shocks of electricity around his head, and keeps getting shocked, screaming and screaming but there's no mercy, until his system gets controlled ]

Black Spider: Mare Octavius. You will soon die. Or simply now.

DCEO Headquarters - 8:00 AM

 

Cindy: Heya, Jerry!

Jerry: Hi. ^^

Cindy: Where were you yesterday night? I kept looking for you!

Jerry: Well, sorry.. ^^; I was on a bunch of missions together. Especially that one with Black Spider in it.

Cindy: Oh, Black Spider? I thought Mare assassinated him last time!

Jerry: Well, he's a cyborg as you know.. and he has some new master and stuff so he has got his cut parts replaced by mechanical ones.

Cindy: Oh, I see.. ^^

Jerry: So, what did you want? ^^

Cindy: Well, I was going to invite you to see my family..

Jerry: Oh, I'm very sorry, Cindy..

Cindy: No, it's OK! ^^ They were tired anyways..

Jerry: Ah, sorry though..

Cindy: Like I said, it's OK. ^^

Chris: Heya, Cindy!

[ Chris is coming, skating with his turbo skaters, and making Cindy and Jerry's hair look bad from the high speed ]

[ Jason is feeling sleepy, and gets out of the door and in front of the skating Chris who accidently bumps into him and pushes him quickly.. ]

Veronica: Mare, why didn't you come to my place last night?!

Mare: Sorry. I was busy in a mission against Black Spider. I had to release people kidnapped and shocked by him.

Veronica: Who are you kidding?! You already said you sliced Black Spider into pieces! Are you trying to fool me?!

Mare: No, but Black Spider's a cyborg. He's already returned and he seems to have a new master. If you don't believe me, the DCEO prison is still open anytime.

Veronica: Well, you could've came after you were done! You know I don't mind you coming late!

Mare: I didn't want to bother you.

Veronica: Couldn't you have just asked if it would bother me?!

Mare: Look, Veron.. I was tired last night. I just went to sleep and rest.

Veronica: I see.. well, sorry..

Mare: I know.

Veronica: Look, Mare, since we've been split from each other in teams, we'd never share each other good times like the past.. can't you reject on Jerry being with you? I mean, you're the best agent, Mr. Wilson might do something for you like that.. especially that I've been doing missions on my own lately thanks to Chris's totally bad behavior.

Mare: No. I can't. Sorry. [ walks away ]

Crystalline: Mr. Wilson, may I come in?

Mr. Wilson: Come in.

Crystalline: [ steps into the office ] Sir, we have received a verified help message from the famous German duelist and volcano explorer Steph Gerwenn... he's saying we need to be at the Chofyette Republic's Velchic city's popular volcano, stating that there's a mad volcanic duelist who is countering him and his team along with his gang. He tells us we need to be there ASAP.

Mr. Wilson: Alright. Send Team Octavius, Maelstrom and Starr to the point.

Crystalline: But sir, without a strong team except Team Octavius we might need Team Pro or Team Frederick.

Mr. Wilson: No. These teams are skilled teams and can probably defeat the enemy.

Crystalline: As you wish, sir.

Chris: Say what?! A volcano?! Are you guys tryin' to kill us?

Crystalline: The mission will not be performed in the same volcano, Agent Techy. We're not that careless. You will search for the criminals around the volcano, particularly in the Velchic Field, the huge place around the volcano.

Chris: I'll still carry my safety inventions!

Velchic Field, in-helicopter - 3:30 PM

[ The teams are all wearing summer wears, as Velchic Field is a very hot place. Chris is wearing the same as his wear but in cut-sleeves style, also having his goggles on his eyes, Jerry is wearing a dark red t-shirt, Mare is wearing his normal one, black armor with black-and-orange glasses and katanas on back with twin pistols in pockets, Cindy is wearing pink summer wear, Veronica is wearing one like Cindy but black and Josh is simply wearing his t-shirt with baggy short pants. ]

Chris: We're there! Everyone be safe.. and be careful of the volcano..

Veronica: You idiot.. the volcano's been calm for 25 years..

Chris: This Velchic Volcano can go on and burn us all at any time!

Veronica: Stop scaring us, dammit!

[ Suddenly, a large white orange circle starts forming around the area, including the helicopter in it ]

Cindy: What's going on?! [ hangs on to Jerry ]

Chris: That's definitely not lava! It is a voluminous holographic circle formed by a force of hectolectric manertheistic waves!

Cindy: Uh.. I don't get what that means..

[ The round circle is complete, and the weather gets hotter so the helicopter's door is open, suddenly, a gang member from the volcano's back fires at the helicopter's fan above until it gets off the helicopter and results in the helicopter crashing ]

Chris: Everybody hang on! [ gets 2 jetpacks he created from his enormous bag, wears one, gives one to Mare then holds Cindy like Spiderman & Mary Jane, and holds Jason from only one hand, then ties his big supply bag on his legs and jumps ] You're next, Mare!

Cindy: Leave me alone!

Chris: But you'll fall then! [ winks ]

Cindy: Grr, Jerry's gonna beat you up!

Jerry: That idiot! He's hugging my Cindy! GRR! [ wears the jetpack instead of Mare quickly then tights on with the helicopter driver, Veronica and Mare jumps with the jetpack, and then lands with Chris on the ground ]

Jason: Great! Chris, you saved our lives!

Jerry: And now he has to save his.. [ looks angry and wants to chase Chris but Mare stops them ]

Mare: I'll go with Veronica to the north, Chris and Jason to the south, Jerry and Cindy and to the west, and the helicopter driver. Understood?

The Crew: OK!

Chris: Oh, by the way guys, you may want these goggles. They'll protect your eyes from any ruins thrown by the volcano, any harm done and they're bullet and water proof. You can also view statistics about hectoletric power at this atmosphere but since you don't what does hectoletric means you can forget that part. [ distributes the goggles between people, except Mare who says his glasses will do fine. ] And now, let's split up like Mare said!

Chris: Jason, look, there's someone near us here!

[ A biker-wear duelist, with a spikey little-bit-dark red hair appears riding on a bike, and then jumps from the bike and in front of Chris ]

Biker: Hey, I'm Zero! Also known as the one's who's going to kick your butt!

Chris: Yo! Are you responsible for this holographic hectoletric circle?

Zero: Duh?! [ standbys his duel disk ] I want a duel here and now, to finish you off and have my reward!

Jason: He's wanted by the law?!

Zero: Nuh-uh! But he's wanted by someone big.. and he better duel me or I'll beat him up and kill him with my gang!

Chris: Bring it on, red-hair! [ standbys his duel disk and draws 5 cards ]

Zero: I'll go first! [ draws 6 cards and looks at them ] 'Right, I'll summon my Volcanic Slicer! (Volcanic Slicer|4|1800|1200|Once per turn, you can inflict 500 damage to your opponent. If you activate this effect, this card cannot attack during this turn.) And by its effect, I can inflict you 500 points of damage during my turn!

Chris: Ugh!

[ LP Count: 7500 (Chris) / 8000 (Zero) ]

Zero: Next, I'll set a face-down card and end my turn!

Chris: It's my turn! [ draws a card and looks at it ] Alright, I summon Alien Shocktrooper! (Alien Shocktrooper|4|1900|800) Next, I'm going to activate this Spell Card! "A" Cell Breeding Device! ("A" Cell Breeding Device|Continous Spell|During each of your Standby Phases, put 1 "A-Counter" on 1 face-up monster your opponent controls.) And now, I'm going to attack your Volcanic Slicer with my Shocktrooper! [ Shocktrooper starts running with its blade, then runs faster and slices Volcanic Slicer into pieces ]

[ LP Count: 7500 (Chris) / 7900 (Zero) ]

Chris: And after that, I end my turn!

Zero: My turn, your doom! [ draws a card and looks at it ] Hehehe...

Mare: Veronica, do you hear that?

Veronica: Sorta..

[ Bikers start drifting around Mare and Veronica, after jumping from behind big rocks with their bikes, and ask them to duel, telling them they have no choice ]

Mare: We'll destroy you. [ standbys his duel disk ]

Veronica: Indeed, we will.. hehe! [ standbys her duel disk ]

Cindy: Jerry, I'm scared..

Jerry: It's OK, as long as I'm with you, you have nothing to be scared of. [ smiles to make Cindy comfortable ]

Cindy: Yeah, I guess..

[ Suddenly, another group of bikers jumps to them with their bikes and start drifting around them, asking them to duel and telling them they must do so or they will die ]

Jerry: We have no other choice, Cindy.. ready?

Cindy: Ready!

Jerry and Cindy: Let's do this! [ standby their duel disks ]

Zero: Burn, baby, burn! I'll activate my spell card, Blaze Accelerator! (Blaze Accelerator|Continuos Spell|You can send 1 Pyro-Type monster with 500 or less ATK from your hand to the Graveyard to destroy 1 monster your opponent controls, but you cannot declare an attack during this turn if you do.) And now, by its effect, I can discard a Pyro-Type monster with 500 or less ATK from my hand discard it in order to destroy 1 monster, and I choose Volcanic Scattershot! [ Volcanic Scattershot is discarded, and its spirit fires some fire balls at Chris to make his Life Points decrease to 7000, and then Alien Shocktrooper is destroyed ]

Chris: You never mentioned about the 500 damage from the Blaze Accelerator!

Zero: Who said it was from that, baby?! It's actually my Volcanic Scattershot's special effect! And here is another one of its special effects! When it's sent to the graveyard by my Blaze Accelerator, I can send 2 another Scattershots from my deck to the graveyard with it! And of course, you know that means additional 1000 damage, baby!

Chris: Damn it!

Zero: We're still not done here, baby! I'll summon my Volcanic Rocket! (Volcanic Rocket|4|1900|1400|When this card is Normal Summoned, Flip Summoned, or Special Summoned, you can add 1 "Blaze Accelerator" card from your Deck or your Graveyard to your hand.) And with its effect, I can add a Blaze Accelerator from my deck to my hand! [ selects a Blaze Accelerator and adds it to his hand from his deck ] Know what, baby? You'll be done by the next turn!

Jason: Chris, your situation is bad..

Chris: [ acts sarcastic ] Oh, thanks for the cheer-up!

Zero: Hahahahaha!

Very nice, I like the unusual perspective, makes a change from all of the fanfics set after GX at the Duel Academy that seem to be hanging round here. Also, nice character depth. While dueling is prominent, you haven't allowed it to overshadow your characters. I'm giving this a... 9.5 out of 10.

 

Missing 0.5 because I prefer paragraph structure to scripting, but that's personal preference. Otherwise, it's perfect.
