The only thing I found was a little note telling me not to go to your party or else. Here, let me show you" David said. David then showed the note to Marcus. "No signs of burn damage here..." He scoured the house. The stove is surrounded by small pieces of burnt crumpled bits, so I'm going to guess this was them. "You don't mind if I transform, do you? He stopped when he landed on the "someone else". "Well, this is your thief." Marcus said. "Easy as that. Now we just need to find who this is."--- Virgil stepped back from Haru. Everything in my house got stolen and there was a burned note saying if I wated my things back, not to go to Marcus' party." David, Drew and Marcus started walking quickly to find the suspect again. Marcus said, pointing to a triangular symbol on the thief's right hand. "This guy is bad news." Just then, Marcus heard a bloodhound growl at the thief. "Where'd that come from?" Marcus jumped out from behind the corner. "If this thief is a demon, especially a doppelganger, then there's no use copying his ability."--- Virgil smiled. "No." Virgil forced a wave of energy onto Haru, sending him flying across the room. "Now leave me to my meal." Virgil, now extremely annoyed, went back to the bartender, who stood there, gaze empty. "Now, girl, please make this easy." Virgil reached to her neck biting down. He sucked out some blood, spitting it on to the ground. He found what he wanted. A white strand came out of her neck like a line of hair, but soon manifested into the shape of the girl. "What's going on?" the spirit said, looking around. The note was gone and there was a new note that said "Don't try to solve this crime. You will end up being in very much pain if you continue searching. When you come, you are to be alone or your friends will suffer a fate worse than death." ---(Next Morning) *YAWN* David let out a big yawn and remembered he had to leave at 5:00. He got dressed and ready to go. He got the park five minutes early. He saw a faint shadow in the distance. Then, he heard a scream. It sounded like Marcus! Could Marcus have been following him? David was confused. "What had just happened?" David thought. David went back to his house to get some more sleep. Back at home, there was another note. It said "I told you to come alone.
