Uberman's Sleeping Schedule

Lol' date=' I read about that on Cracked about 10 minutes ago.

I also need to master lucid dreaming. Otherwise, I'll never be able to play as Morshu in SSBB.

I read it on Cracked too XD

I want to see if someone makes a study if this works with the "sleep and remember" technique.

Interesting' date=' but I think it'd be very hard to adjust to. Psychologically, a sleep break marks the end and start of a new day for me (and probably most other people), so this technique would make it feel as if you're living in a 30 day week or something.

You're right. This month I used to sleep at 5 AM one day and wake up at 3 PM then stay awake the whole next day and then sleep at 3 PM only to wake at 6 PM. I had no sense of what the day was since I was used to sleeping like everyone else.

That's horrible' date=' honestly. Sleep deprivation makes you see Deloreans that travel through time and white guys who aren't racist. o.O

Honestly, don't.

Its not sleep deprivation >_>

It says "it requires a level of sleep deprivation."

You lose the first 4 levels of the sleep cycle which aren't that important in order to jump to the 5th and awesomest one right away. You get about 2 hours of REM and feel more refreshed plus you get to stay awake more then the normal sleep. Day 3-10 are the gayest days you might ever experience since you feel like a zombie.

The Uberman sleep schedule would mean sleeping (even for a short period of time) in school. Schools dun like that. D:

Because no one sleeps in school. :/

I attempt to sleep... My teachers usually wake me up.

How rude of them.

I slept once in class. My teacher is kinda blind, and a bit deaf, and she didn't notice as I was sitting in the back of the room. Good thing the bell woke me up.

In 7th grade, I had to take a sewing class as a part of Family Consumer Sciences. In that class we made small pillows. Every day that week, I took the pillow to a different class and went to sleep. xD

It worked great until the last period of the day. I fell asleep, the bell didn't wake me up, my teacher decided since I had to nerve to sleep through his class he wasn't going to wake me up. At 4:30 (two hours after dismissal) one of the janitorial workers woke me up and told me to go home. xD

That is a REALLY mean teacher. At least he should have woken you up and subsequently yelled at you or something.

It was pretty epic though. I learned my lesson...

Set an alarm on your cell phone for 2:45. xD
