TVL
You want some advice eh? This one's a little better than your others since the black and white makes it a little less chaotic, but I think you should really work on toning it down. Its not the amount of effects that you use that matters, its how well they go with the render. Try to use colors and directions that harmonize with your render, and if you find something you really want to use but the color doesn't work, use control+u to change its color. Don't use text yet, you're not ready, and try to stick to just one subject in the render, though, to your credit, your focal was quite effective and I did not notice the other characters at first. +Jono
- Too monotone/dark- Bad text, doesn't blend in- No Flow- No Depth- No Lighting Fix these by:- Adding adjustment layers, Brightness/Contrast, etc.- Adjust the text so that it goes with the flow of the sig, make it a good font type, not something like this, make sure you have a good antialias, maybe set it to soft light/overlay/etc. if all else fails- C4Ds can be used to achieve flow, but only if used properly. On my old sigs I would use motion blur, but some members here detest that.- Once again C4Ds can be used for depth, and so can some good lighting techniques. I'm not very good at achieving alot of depth, so you might want to talk to more advanced Graphic Designers (Cyber Altair, Kox, etc.)- Lighting can be achieved in many ways, for example, white soft brushing with the layer on soft light or some other setting can work wonders. If you want shadows, use black. Once again, ask a more experienced Graphic Designer My last piece of advice:- Follow good tutorials from experienced Graphic Designers or if you can understand what's happening in a psd, download some packs of good sigs and take a look at what the designer has done to achieve the effects.
