Ecko was panting, since he had run across half the city to get here. He straightened himself up, then said to Jack, "We've gotta beat that guy. He means bad news for our kingdom, and he's trouble for the other kingdoms. I woulda dueled him if he hadn't run like a coward." He looked in to Jack's face and said quietly, "Next time either of us sees him, we should duel him. Agreed?" he stuck his hand out, with the intent of shaking hands.
