OoC: You really don;t know what the "Beep" I am talking about, right?

 

IC: "I thought I heard crying." Matthew walked over to the tarot cards, and looked down, almost curoisly, on them. "Hm..." He sighed, and sat down. The rose held in his hand, although he did not see it, was opening further, and become more flushed in color, like it was growing anew. He pulled out his wand/brush and looked at it.

OoC: Tarot cards. Acient fortune-telling divice. Moon-Night jorneys. EMpress- Creativiness. Magicain-Energy. Stergeth-Brave heart. And Devil-trickery.

 

IC; Matthew looked at her in amusement. "Well, the sky, and also, in the creative sence, your wet pillow." He pointed to the pillow, dotted with wet spots. "Bad dream, eh?"

OoC: Well...The tarot is a divice that can be traced to ancient eygpt. The major arceana starts with 0, the fool-trust and 21 the world, clumination. There are also suits, minor arceana. hearts, swords, wands, pentacles. They each have a ace-10, also a king, queen, prince and princess. They each have different meanings, in order to where you put them.

My last post of the night. HAve a good night. I will probably be able to post more...we think we finally fized the internet problem! Yay!

IC: "What was it about?" Matthew asked. "Don't be embrassed. Everybody cries, but for different reasons. Someone you love? SOmeone you hate? Someone you just care about? Hiding emotion just makes you more misrable on the inside." Matthew gave advice, shuflling the cards. A single card fell out. He looked at it, blushed, and mmedetaly returned it to the deck, finishing the shuflling.

OoC: Thats good. Well, I'm going to study more aobut it soon. Ther are books at the library on tarot cards. I jsut need to find out where to get the deck. Any suggestions?

IC: "Hiding my pain is what I do. I've done a great job while around others for the past years. There are only rare times like this night when I break down and cry. If you want to knw, I suppose I should start from the beginning and tlel you everything. Feel lucky, your the only one who shall know." Melody said, looking up at the moon.

OoC: Well, you don't really need a deck, if you want to know enough for this rp. you can look up some stuff online, and that'll be good! I can even do a tarot reading for you, I know your personality well enough, I think. Axel: Well, Claud, azura and Azeera (The goddess of wind,) are at the cottage, Vlad, Melody and I are at my treehouse. Feel free to walk in anywhere, but if you want action, Azeera and Claud are fighting, or where fighting.

IC: "You might as well, if you'd like. I'd think it would feel great to get it off your chest. But, hey, I'll find it out for myself, eventually. Once I am curois about something, I decide to get it." Matthew examined the rose, which was now withering again. "Hm...toss me the pad under the pillow, 'kay?" Matthew asked.

Ooc: Yeah, I know but it'd be awesome to do some tarot readings for some friends. It'll only add to my "Freakiness" as they call it. Uf you want to do a tarot reaiding for me, then thanks^.^

IC: Melody nodded and tossed him the pad. She turned back out to the window. "Well, before coming to Artwood, I was alwyas with my mom. We didn't have much and oculd afford much, but we were still happy. We'd go to the park all the time on her days off. She gave me all sorts of advice." Melody smiled at the memory. "She never tried to date anyone. I never knew why. I thought she was still sad about Dad leaving after I was born because I wasn't the son he wanted. Qhwn I was 7, I was entered into Artwood. The first day was my worst day ever. Half way through I learned that my mom had been hospitilized after dropping me off and she had just died form cancer she had been fighting for a few years. Ever since thne, I was alwyas on my own, always smiling becasue I knew she would watch over me. Until now, I had been doing fine of that job." MElody finished and sighed.

OoC: Okay, I will what kind of reading? One card, which can tell you what clocks you from achiving a goal, what you need to know for the highest good, the outcome of something, extra. 3 card, which is Past/present/future conditions of, effect of mind/body/spirt of, and so on. Finally, the most advanced reading I know, the celtic cross. 11 cards, and tells basically everything about something, that you want to know the condions of over the future 3 to 6 day, weeks, months or years! Choose a reading, and a question you want to know!

 

IC: Matthew was silent for a few seconds. Then "I'm sorry."

He looked at the rose, completely withered, and turning into a group of seeds. He set them on the floor, and took up his brush. In a minute, he had drawn a flower, which came to life. "Hm. I really can do it.

IC : Vlady saw the flower came to life and said happy "You can do it , mate!" and then he looked at Melody with pity and said "I'm sorry for you mom Melody i didn't know that" then Vlady hugs her.

OoC:i just read all the tarot stufflets, whats kewl is my mom has a deck, and she does readings for her friends (and me sumtimes) but its also dangerouse because she did it once and forsaw something happening to my cousin and then a month later he died......

 

Ic:Azura saw shady figures in a tree house..it was his friends! he decided to go to them "hey guys whats up" he put on a smile and silver climbed up the tree house and licked melody all over "looks like silver misses you too" then Azura laughed.

OoC: Wow...tell me, in your mom's deck, what does "Death" stand for? It is the only card whose meaning I find always changes, deck to deck...

IC: Matthew noticed people conferging upon the point. It was time to share the tarot with them. He got up, and walked to the mouth of the treehouse, patting melody on the back politly as he did so, with a muttered, "I'm really sorry."

"Hey!" He called out. "Come on in, everyone. Please. We need to discuss a plan."
