It's a very nice card.

 

The only complaint I do have is that in 40K you have squads of men, normally about 10, so the only way I could successfully summon a commander is to have 21 monster spaces (WH40K rules state that you need at least 2 full squads of 10 or more men)

 

I suggest if you're really going to do this is to make a "Chaos Space Marine Squad" card in lieu of 10 regular marines, but it's your call.

An excellent first card.

 

Immortal D had a good idea, but I'd try to keep it more simple than that. Just make a single squad card and then a commander card. Don't get too tied up with exact numbers.

 

A slight OCG correction, "When this card would be destroyed by battle, discard 1 card from your hand to keep it on the field. Damage calculation is still applied." It's pretty much a given that the monster would be destroyed if you couldn't discard, so you don't need to add that into the effect.

 

It is so refreshing to see cards based on Pop Culture that isn't Pokemon, Naruto, Sailor Moon, Kingdom Hearts, or DBZ.

Great card, again squads would be good, and also I'd make Chaos Space Marines fiend type, not zombies, and give then some defence, Even the lowest Chaos Marine has the warp protecting him, his power armor and a few centurys of combat experiance, amounting to some substantial staying power.
