Anti Meta 3.0

Recommended Posts

I've been working on anti meta for a while because I personally think it has the power to become better than most meta decks, and after a couple of tournaments where I usually got 3rd or 4th, this is what I have

Monsters:18

2xChaos

3xRai Oh

2xKycoo

3xWanghu

3xBreaker

3xBanisher

2xDDWL

Spells:10

2xHammer Shot

2xSoul Taker

3xShrink

2xBoM

1xBCon

Traps:12

3xRO

3xTrap Hole

2xBottomless

2xD Prison

1xMF

1xTT

Wahngu hurts blackwing a little bit' date=' but not enough to be played tbh. I'll post the banisher chaos deck I used a few weeks back that worked pretty well in a wee while.

If he mained 3 BotM it would, with 2 out, every single one of them would die when they are summoned, or atleast be weak enough for any of his monsters to run the over if they run Solidarity.

The last anti meta draft I played used 3 BotM. The reason I don't play them here is because they are too situational and get in the way of the deck's purpose, which is to keep field advantage while denying the opponent their options. Most of the time when I drew Burden, it was when I least needed it, and mostly when I was losing and wanted to topdeck something to get me out of the situation, I ended up topping Burden and losing the match because of it. The way I changed this deck from the original draft is by taking out some of the cards that required a setup(such as Burden) and replacing them with cards that could combo, or work on their own accord(such as Soul Taker and Bottomless). And that's my reason for no longer maining Burden.

The reason I play HS and Soul Taker is because I want to target the opponent's highest attack monsters, and Soul allows me to choose which monster I want to destroy. Fissure only destroys the lowest attack monster, which is bad if I the opponent has 2 or more monsters on the field and the higher attack one is my target, and I do like Smashing, but rather have the ability to destroy the highest attack monster and be able to choose which monster to destroy rather than destroying a monster that isn't necessarily a threat to my strategy, but just so happens to have a high defense.
