Neither do I, but I'm afraid of more people are annoyed by him, and would help them be more comfortable to have him gone than people who are indifferent and do not mind, then I believe their needs are more important, especially since our indifference means that our needs will still be met with DD gone. And everyone, including the person making the claim knows it. It's all supposed to be in good fun. And yes, there seems to be a certain order of power here (again, FOR FUN) based on how much respect or admiration the member in question has garnered. I don't try to pretend I'm really some all powerful master of illsuions, the same way Lar doesn't really believe she can castrate people with her mind, the same way Soul doesn't actually believe he can rip people to shreds in a second. We're just having fun. However, it stops being funwhen people take it too far and start to purposely get annoying with it. Even Davok, as OPd as he is, still has ways that he can be defeated in his fictional persona, as all of us probably do. Being completely invincible is never any fun. But wehn the likes of say, DD, or now Creator, start spewing nonsense about being unbeatable when they have (cont)(cont) not earned that kind of respect or social standing, it gets annoying as hell, and just seems pretentious. In DD's case, it's annoying BECAUSE he's been here for so long and yet ceases to quit GMing everything and ranting about how awesome he is. Any among us who brag about our pretend powers have earned that right, especially since we only do it a little, if ever. Now, I'd appreciate it if Nex and Solus would apologize to one another, so that we don;t have any ill blood between us. I think you both sort of just misunderstand each other. Also, Nex, I'd like to make a correction: =p I didn't have some dramatic departure. when I left, I was straightforward and simple with it.
