OOC: Irou continued to slice through Yuki's face-down, which was revealed to be a large snow-white bird with golden armor.

Hm. Both of my face-downs won't really do anything against that Spell. The monster is what I gotta be wary of... Never heard of it before.

"By the way, when Toon Goblin Attack Force attacks, he switches to Defense Mode and stays that way for the next turn. Continue your move."

This guy is getting interesting. He has a lot of cards I haven't even heard of, and they have a lot of potential... Haha, let's see how this turns out.

The light started to fade and a knight with long, blonde hair and clad in shining armor appeared. He held a runed blade and a shield with the smae mark that had appeared when the Trial begun.

"This is Arthus - Champion of Light!" (2300/1000) Valian said and smiled victoriously. "And now I activate his effect!"

The knight raised his sword to the roof and light surrounded it, suddenly a shining light struck out of it and destroyed Valian's own card, Sharing is Caring. This, however, made Valian's life points raise by another 1000.

"His effect let's me destroy one of my own Spell or Trap cards in order to increase my life points by 1000. Oh, I forgot to mention that each time any of us increases our life points, my Champion's attack power raises by an equal ammount untill the end phase!"

(2300->3300)

The knight slashed in the air with his sword, making ready to attack.

"If I recall right, I cannot attack your Toons, so I'll attack you directly instead!"

The knight jumped up in the air and made ready for the attack by raising his sword.

OoC: I can's remember if the Toons that you currently have out has the "not-attackable" effect, so feel free to interupt my attack in any ways.

[spoiler=my app, for those who haven't seen it]

Name: Charles Rose

Age: 27

Gender: Male

Faction: Chosen Champion

Ace Card: Silent Betrayal (Custom card)

Appearance: He dresses to the excess of formality. His hair cut neatly at his shoulders, perfectly straight and uniformly black. Black trousers with a carefully ironed crease and a shirt and jacket fitting neatly around his large but well-proportioned figure would give him the air of a level-headed businessman.

Would, that is, were it not for the features of his body that gave away his insanity. His shaking hands, his face, wrinkled from stress, and his eyes, rarely blinking and a bright yellow, always fixated on a position just over the shoulder of any man who would talk to him. All this gives the image of someone only out of the asylum from lack of evidence.

Personality: And that's probably correct. He avoids contact with people when possible. Responding to people with questions and often gazing into space or taking long walks to areas other people steer clear of. When someone walks in on him and he doesn't notice them, it's anything but rare to hear him talking quietly to himself. He's clearly paranoid to an extent, often keeping a close eye on someone for the slightest action.

Bio: If anyone happens to ask about his past, they can expect to be stabbed swiftly, right between the eyes, by a particularly sharp gaze. Born in a rural area of England he was horror-struck at an early age when both of his parents died in a car crash. While he watched them die, he was just sitting in the back seats, unable to do anything at scared for his life.

He was taken under the wing of a caring local old man, a church priest, who helped him through school and became a new father to him. While the boy found any sort of greater good a lost concept after seeing his own parents die, he still wears a crucifix around his neck as a symbol of his respect for the old man.

After he'd left school, he thanked the man for his care, leaving him to brave the rest of the world. He took up a profession after profession, constantly finding himself unable to perform well in a field and becoming more distant from the world with each passing year. Eventually he took up Duel Monsters after managing to get himself a Deck of extremely short-print cards. Joining the tournament, he hoped to find some sort of respect as a representative, holding through the tournament as one of the few older players to make it past the early rounds.

@Lord JZ of the Enigma - because Yachi was destroyed, Irou's effect doesn't happen.

Charles had been rather happily picking at a plate of salad, taking his time to pick at one bit and then another of the green bowl, before the table had disappeared. He nodded, almost knowingly, at the tables disappearance and for a second looked the head of the table in the eyes, a rare occurrence. He sat on a polished wooden bench at one side of the room, a small bit of the furniture that had not disappeared, to watch the duel in action. His mad eyes carefully fixed on what was behind Valien. "They... quite interesting..." he mumbled under his breath, barely audible.

He'd been the least shocked by the movement to the spirit world. In fact, he took it as a natural event, shrugging it off with even less words than he gave in conversation. In the day or so they had been here he had spent most the time missing, walking in and out of the forest at various intervals and removed from the group that had arrived here, the Courageous Crusaders or whatever group he was apparently a part of now.

He delicately took another bite of the breadstick he'd been nibbling on and began talking in a whisper once more, below the hearing of anyone in the room, letting his gaze shift towards the floor of the room and starting to think about a few things.

ooc:true, I totally forgot. and just call me JZ, it's easier.

"not a bad move, all I can do is set a card and end my turn " he places the card on the slot and looks up at her, he couldn't tell just yet, but her aura seemed, 'correct', if it meant she was the one he was looking for, he wasn't sure, but he was very enticed. "You can make your move now."

OOC: Sorry. Quitting.

Got too much stuff to do.

Lord JZ, you can take over for my character, but just keep me informed.

Just don't kill her off or anything...

Now. I gotta do it now. I won't have an easy recovery if I don't do it now.

"Open face-down Spell, Enemy Controller. Of the two effects, I choose the first -- to switch your monster to Defense Position."

The card flipped over, revealing a video-game controller. A sequence of buttons was pressed, and the cord extended out to Valien's knight.

So, if he doesn't have a counter for it, it goes to Defense Position, and my Girl is safe. Even if he does... Better play it safe.

"I also activate my other face-down, Royal Decree. As long as this Continuous Trap remains on the field, all other Traps are negated."

Let's just hope this strategy of mine pays off against him. I don't like fighting with variables such as that knight....
