Okay, so I wanted to look at the user agreement for a while, to see was their anything I could find in it any look at this;

Whilst we attempt to edit or remove any messages containing inappropriate, sexually orientated, abusive, hateful, slanderous, or threatening material that could be considered invasive of a persons privacy, or which otherwise violate any kind of law, it is impossible for us to review every message posted on this discussion system. For this reason you acknowledge that all messages posted on this discussion system express the views and opinions of the original message author and not necessarily the views of this bulletin board. Therefore we take no responsibility and cannot be held liable for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy and completeness of every message.

 

By registering on this discussion system you agree that you will not post any material which is knowingly false, inaccurate, abusive, hateful, harassing, sexually orientated, threatening or invasive of a person's privacy, or any other material which may violate any applicable laws.

Okay so with that I would like to point out that;

 

1st Bold: Shouldn't nearly every active member in the General Section be banned by now?

 

 

2nd Bold: You can use that to stop noobs whining about their thread being locked, They have no rights to argue against it. Mods decision is the only decision.

 

3rd Bold: Stops people Whining to Mods & Admins about their accounts being hacked

To your comments: That's idiotic. A Mod's word isn't law, you know. If I want to debate with a Mod on what he's done then I shall do, and if he wins, then so be it. If I win, then the same applies. There isn't a "oyah I locked your thread you now have no say 'cause I'm a Mod kthx" situation, ever.

This. I've overturned my own actions several times. Mods make mistakes and if you think they have by all means you should question them.

 

Someone actually read a user agreement statement?

This. The sad fact is most people don't read even read the rules. But since it's their they can't say they didn't know since they are supposed to have read it.

 

Also at point 1, the simple fact is the reason every memeber isn't banned, is because every member would be banned if we followed tha rule perfectly.

Well I can think of at least 2 Moderators that do just that' date=' so are they pricks?

I'm glad you said this. It's a shame when they've made a mistake but won't admit it, or even if they haven't but the member thinks that they have, though.

To join this site, we all agreed to that.

 

Mods do indeed make mistakes, and you can come to us about your issues. I've made this clear. But in the end, our say is the final one.

 

Thanks for bringing this up though, you've just technically proven that mods have god-like powers on this site. Whether it will work or not, maybe this will be a wake up call as to what members agreed to.

No-one asked you to be big-headed about it. You used to be a member too- but I guess you don't follow the member before Moderator idea.

No-one asked you to be big-headed about it. You used to be a member too- but I guess you don't follow the member before Moderator idea.

And I know that no-one asked me, I'm just stating the truth. YCMaker in that user agreement, gave us unlimited god-like powers on this forum. Honestly he needs to re-write that stuff.

This is true I've been here for many months now and have yet to read a single rule on this entire forum. =/

 

^.^ And that agreement thingy, I never read it, it's alot of tl;dr for me. I just clicked agreed and it was done.

They're to long for my liking and since I am too lazy to sit here and read them I just act like a well behave person. Besides I know not to act like a total azz on an internet forum. ^^

Btw, you might wanna go read the Rules. Specifically that 'no spamming' rule.

 

On an on-topic note, I don't see why I should follow MyBB's ToS over YCM's Rules.
