This doesn't have anything to do with the Yu-gi-oh Monarchs. It is a set devoted to the Absolute and Limited Monarchs. I've started with Russia.

[spoiler=Card Lores]

[spoiler=Royal-Czarina Catherine the Great] "Monarch-Peter the Great"+"King's Jewels"

This monster cannot be Special Summoned except by Fusion Summon. Place 2 Czarina Counters on this card. During your opponents Draw Phase you may remove 1 Czarina Counter from this card and your opponent must discard all cards in his hand except WIND monsters. If this card has no Czarina Counters on it increase this card's ATK by 300 for each "Royal" monster on the field and in your Graveyard.

[spoiler= Royal Anne Boleyn]Once per turn, during your Main Phase, if you control this card on the field, you can equip it to your "Royal- The Virgin Queen Elizabeth" as an Equip Card, OR unequip the Union equipment and Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. Increase the ATK of the equipped monster by 600. The equipped monster is also treated as a Warrior-type monster.(1 monster can only be equipped with 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster is destroyed as a result of battle, destroy this card instead.)

Weird' date=' original, illogical...

Fusion Czarina doesn't make ANY sense. :D

And neither do Union and Spirit cards...

One of the weirdest sets I ever saw...

5/10.

I wasn't going to make them all effect monsters because that would be boring. You don't seem to know much of what you’re talking about in this situation. Do you even know Russian or English history? Maybe not, but by putting historical characters in card form I had to be creative. And to understand the reasons for their effects and types you had to see it in a creative light. I made Catherine a fusion because she considered herself to be the true descendent of Peter. Anne is a union to symbolize how she was used by Henry. Henry is a spirit for numerous reasons. 1 is that I wanted to represent his being the "Defender of the Faith" and later separating from the Catholic Church.
