True Ancient Obelisk

Double-Helix

Recommended Posts

Not sure if this is the correct forum to post this, but I made a God Card.

"True Ancient Obelisk", also known as "Pink Obelisk", is a card that can only be special summoned by tributing all three god cards while Obelisk The Tormentor is on the field.

So here it is:

let me know what you think!

NOTE: This card was created to be canon with the Anime, as this card was featured in EXACTLY this way on the anime. It was NOT created to be a playable card in a tournament. The obvious reason for this is its attack level.

I apologise for the ATK level being INF, but I was under the impression that that was the actual ATK of this monster in the Anime. If it isn't then please tell me, as it was only featured in that one movie with Seto Kaiba and Yugi Muto on a big screen, where Seto had Blue Eyes Ultimate and Yugi had True Ancient Obelisk. Also, featured in the wikipedia page for the God cards, I found these:

It is also shown that Obelisk is able to achieve infinite attack points for a single turn if two monsters are sacrificed as a tribute.

In Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie: Pyramid of Light Yugi sacrificed Ra and Slifer to use this effect, and not only destroyed Kaiba's Blue Eyes Ultimate Dragon, but also dealt him infinite damage.

I thought I was right.

And if you do not believe me, then you can find the actual article at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egyptian_God_cards

I made the card because it was featured in the anime, not because I made it up. Also, you cannot judge the rating of my card by the fact that it is my first posted card, as that does not determine my talents. If someone posted "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8" as their first card (assuming that said card did not exist at the time), would you mark it as 3/10?

@Matrix Kirby.

As I said, you cannot judge a rating on whether I have many cards or not. That last post that you made had no relevance whatsoever to what I stated earlier. In fact, it just proves my point even more. There are two sayings that work well in this scenario.

"Don't judge a book by its cover"

and

"Quality not Quantity".

@ѕ¢єρтяυм

If you read my first post, I put a note saying that I made it so that it was CANON to the anime, as in the anime, you will find that Yugi tributes both Rá AND Slifer to give Obelisk infinite attack. I didn't make it because I wanted it to be used in a duel or whatever.

Assuming that you know what canon means or course, which I believe you do.
