I saw the Trailer when I went to see Michael Jackson: This Is It' date=' looks interesting I might catch it when it comes out on dvd. (Cheaper than nearly £8 a ticket....even the O2 is cheaper than my local cinema's bargain rate)

You saw Miceal Jackson: This Is It? I thought the concert got canceled because of.. well his death. Also what is O2?

I never have time to go to the theatres, so I usually catch movies online.

This Is It' date=' the film.

The O2, name for London's former Millennium Dome. (Basically Concerts/Exhibitions/Cinema/Loads Of Food) I went to see MJ's exhibition there.

We should get back to topic.

I went to the O2 to see Lee Evans and Kylie Monogue ^.^

I thought this film was about the last airbender too but i was "wha" when it wasn't, look good still <.<

Avatar is directed by the same guy who did Titanic. Its been like...11 or 13 years in the making. It seems the general plot behind it is they (human military) are trying to infiltrate some sort of alien civilization. They have a pilot who is now lame (wheelchair bound) and the somehow put his mind into the body of an alien (hence the movie title).

Thoughts: Too. Much. CGI. It looks like another disaster of "oh look, we'll wow them with special effects, and maybe they won't notice the loopholes!"

At the same time, the guy who did Titanic is an actually good director....

It's too early to tell.

Also, kinky blue alien love. Hm.

Titanic, Transformers, The Terminator Movies, and many more.

Of course the movieis going to have a lot of CGI. Their in outerspace. But honestly the movie looks stupid to me.

Also your comment on kinky blue alien love reminds me of the music video for I'm Blue by Eiffel 65.

Starwars IV, V, and VI were all galactic-scale movies, but none of them needed CGI to make them awesome. Hollywood abuses CGI too much.

And they aren't in outer space. They're on some sort of jungle planet >_>

Jungle Planet, close enough to outerspace. No actor would stay on set in a real jungle.

The reason Starwards IV, V and VI and Galatic Movies didn't have a lot of CGI is because they either one, had lack of funding, or two -this on Starwars behalf- Wanted to stay true to the old movies.

I will probably buy it when it comes out on DVD.

It looks verry good (even though I think the trailer reveals a little to much in my opinion) but there is too much CGI.

Have read somewhere (can´t remember where right now) that nearly half of the movie

will be CGI.

A thought that allways goes through my head when i see the trailer is that the idea of Pandora seems to have been first, not the plot.

What i mean by that is, the scenes (atleast the ones shown)seemes powerfull but the plot that binds them together feels kind of weak.

But then again, it is to early to judge it.

Probably I will have to bite the dust when it comes out. But I will have to wait and see.

(Sorry if my english is bad but I am actually swedish)

No you actually spoke fairly well. I have to agree with you on the fact that the plot is weak. Then again, this is the first trailer.

Because its impossible to create a jungle set in Hollywood. :/

IV V and VI didn't have CGI because CGI didn't exist when Lucas made them -________-

Then Lucas made I II and III after CGI was available, and they sucked- why? Because Lucas replaced plot and character development with awsum laz0rs and alien CGI.
