Ok, so it's full on pelting in down here and to make it worse we're having up to 70mph winds. It's lashing of my window and it looks like the rain is going to pelt through and theres misty-fog.It's going to last for another hour and a half.

So, do you like weather like that?

What were the worst experiences in weather have you ever had?

One word: Hurricane. In Denmark. Don't ask me how it got up here.

o.O

There were some really fast winds around here a while ago.

Killed 14 people, smashed a car in my road when a tree fell on it.

Also, we had some bad floods, killed 4 people and flooded the northern part of Sheffield.

Yeah, I heard about that. It was a few years ago, if I remember correctly, in 2007. We felt that weather over here as well. Worst weather since said hurricane.

EDIT: Also, it was that hurricane.

Look at the pic. Pretty huge, amirite? And officially it was a day after my b-day, but it had already started the 2nd.

'87 was an aftermath/remains of a Hurricane when it hit the UK.

Me probably the near 24 Hour Rain/Thunderstorm when Disney closed Typhoon Lagoon and I was there, it didn't stop until 3 in the morning, which was probably 5+ years ago. Appart from that nothing really

I have been in the following:

Wind so strong I couldn't walk, let alone stand up straight.

Rain that flooded the street to the extent that only cards with the highest possible suspensions could drive through without stalling.

Thunder and lightning that was literally close enough to the car that I couldn't see out the window at certain points.

Fog so thick that we couldn't see at all, even with our car's high beams on.

Heat so high that people's shoes were melting in the sidewalk.

All in one area, southern California.

Weather doesn't bother me though.

The Great British Storm of 1987
