Yea I'm going to say most mods abuse their power a little bit, but none are trying to. They not trying to act like "jackasses" their doing what they should be, keeping order, and 99% of the time it's the members that are doing something wrong. Yea if you think you've been wronged go talk to the mods about it. All mods should listen, even if they think your 100% wrong. Hell their are times when the mods were in the wrong because the acted to fast or were a bit every handed in their actions. If that is the case then they will over turn the action, and if they don't overturn say a ban or warn another mod can look to see if they think it was fair.
