Icy
Imho... There's one great way to prove evolution... Stick to a species that has an OK lifespan' date=' (like a fly). And put it in its ideal enviorment for 20-100yrs. Constantly maintain it and introduce new things as time arises. ie: Biodome. So that 1 flys life = Human Life of a Human. 2 weeks = 100yrs for a fly? That would mean that 1 human year = 5200yrs.100 yrs = 520'000yrs. More than enough to sustain evolution and see the results. Problem is maintaining it. But, it could prove Evolution in a visual state as it's happening.[/quote'] Anyone care to disprove this as an effective way to prove evolution exists?Nobody cares to because can be, and has been, done. Another great example is selective breeding. (Of dogs and horses, for example.) That's Micro-evolution. Even humans do it as we mate, and bear children. Just not with that in mind... I believe the OP wanted Macro-evolution. But yes, this topic has been gone through and through. Locked.
