I look around this forum, and I see nothing short of a mockery of justice, and abuse of power. But pervading it all, is a huge fog of irony. One nobody else seems to notice.

 

First, there will be no dancing around the matter. I call all of ye by name, those whom I address: Polaris, Atlas, Dark, OMGAKITTY, Brushfire, Dweller of Parables, and any others I may have forgotten who preach of the tyranny of the mods. You are seeds of this conflict, and your roots do indeed spread deep.

 

I will not waste time with petty insults. The fact is the majority of you are intelligent individuals, with a talent for inspiring other people to take up your cause.

 

I believe I have stated several times that you are a silly rebellion or that you're playing V. However, I realize I am sorely mistaken.

 

You, my good sirs, are Norsefire. You misuse your gift for speech to corrupt the masses, filling their heads with thoughts of an evil, oppressive staff, and delusions of a world of uncertainty. You inspire fear in their hearts, make them believe the mods are out to get them, and that YCM is not a safe place. You have set events in motion that resulted in the bannings of your key members, all according to plan. In doing so, you have given yourself excuses to demonize the mods.

 

You have used your hold on the hearts and minds of the masses, combined with the "senseless bannings" of your cohorts to rally them as a force to tear down the moderation.

 

However, this merely enslaves us to a world where nothing gets done. The way your logic works, is that if something cannot be completely, concretely, no doubt in the smallest of details, proved to your liking, we should ignore it, and not act upon it. A wise man once said that the best thing you can do in any given situation is the right thing, the 2nd best the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can possibly do is nothing. This, under the guise of freedom, locks us down on such a gigantic scale, all rights to act in any course are shut down. A gigantic security lock down, under the guise of protecting the people, and justice.

 

You speak of justice? Of right and wrong?

 

You make a mockery of justice. You care not for it, you care not for right and wrong, because everything is open to interpretation according to you. You can define words as whatever you want, but that does not mean your fallacious definitions hold water. I can define dirt as water, but it does not make it so.

 

You merely seek to control the people, to tear down the establishment, to have power. And that is what the evil truly wish. Whether you regard it as truth, or merely a fable with a meaning, consider the story of Lucifer (Satan). He didn't do what he did because he thought it was right. He didn't do what he did for the sake of doing wrong. He did it, to set in motion a plan to control the human race, to have power. And what better way to enact such a plan, but to do it under the pretenses of liberation (eating the apple brought complete enlightenment supposedly). However, this "liberation" did naught to help them. In fact, it resulted in direct hardship. Out of their paradise, faced with hardships, they sought an easy way out. Satan could then prey on their desperation to make wicked deals, providing them things they wished, at the cost of their souls. You may point out that he screwed them over even on the "good" end, and that that is done for the sake of evil. No, it is done to demonstrate further power over them.

 

That's all you want. It's evident on your new site too. As soon as Icy got there, Atlas called for an IP ban. Merely to exercise his power.

 

However, they are not the only ones at fault here. Let's go back to the tale of Adam and Eve. The plan could not have been enacted if Eve hadn't given into her temptations. If you wish for someone to blame, you need only look in a mirror.

 

You allowed them to play you for fools. And oh did they play their little marionettes well. You're the tools of corruption. But please, do not despair. Wake up, and do not allow them to control you.

 

They are the mockery of justice! They are the tyranny!

 

Break free of them and think for yourself. United, you are a raging mob that they can direct at will. As individuals, you have free thought and may make your own decisions, not their decisions. You may do what you desire, not what they desire. A person is smart, people are stupid. A man chooses, a slave obeys.

 

Live a life of intelligent choice, not of idiotic obedience.

 

So yes, I do see Tyranny, Oppression, and Injustice. I see it in these fiends that have played you, and I see it feeding the misguided flames that wildly flare in your hearts.

I see your point, unlike the others who believe the moderating system is now corrupt. Was it not OMGAKITTY who knocked over that first domino, the domino which survived the last barrage? Or am I mistaken, and there is a deeper sense in this.

 

I just find the act of rebellion good, but their way to be corrupt and twisted to the point that it goes to far.

If you do not like how the government is run in your county you do not try to blow up the countryside (besides the IRA but they were controlled by a different government so it is justified, plus they were terrorists) you pack your sheet and leave. I understand the situation perfectly.

 

Basically they were whiny little bastards causing trouble in the forums with trolling, flaming, and spam. Someone knocked them off their high horse and demonstrated we weren't willing to tolerate their antics, so they made a failure of an attempt at disproportionate revenge.
