The Reborn sub-type monsters begin the duel in your Graveyard. The only way to get them in play is through a Special Summon from the grave. This allows them to be stronger than average monsters' date=' but limits their power because other monsters are harder to Summon. They are useless if you lack card to Special Summon from the Graveyard. These monsters can be of any type and their type will always appear as:Example: [Warrior/Reborn/Effect']I hope this helps. GAH! I'm really pissed. Why? I made a sub-type [TypeX/Rebirth] ages ago (about 13 months ago) for my Gladiator Beasts expansion set (I made 50 cards and 2 new subtypes but I never released it). I had no idea that you had designed an incredibly similar type several months later. Normally, the time would make a difference, but deserve all the credit and royalties for that particular type because I didn't do much with it, while you have been far more prolific.
