Shadow Zero Posted March 8, 2010 Report Share Posted March 8, 2010 sounds like things are indeed reaching the point where this either dies and is likely not remade, or a revolution occurs in which we throw of the shackles of those who seem to no longer care.no offense to linky boy, cree-bozu, or baka deus, but seeing as they really don't care anymore, i say that we should return to the thread creator made and then gave to bel. the only flaw with that plan is if creator decides to get really mean, he would delete the first post, thereby deleting the entire thread from the system. the only real safe way to do this would be to create a new temporary thread in which all of the information that can currently be found in the first post is placed, and the person making the thread acts as the temporary leader until DMG is able to get on here and make a completely new FK thread with people who actually care about it in positions of power so that it actually has a chance of not experiencing anything remotely like a sabatoge or coup de'tat while she is away. i would really rather this not happen, but it currently seems to be the only thing that can be done without this being completely destroyed. the only real problem with this scenario is that if the thread destruction policy for the 3v3 or whatever it is is put into effect, then our losing the 3v3 means that there would be no remake of the FK in any way, shape, or form. at least, not without serious repercussions.in short, we are in very dangerous waters, in an aircraft carrier with no aircraft or life boats, surrounded by underwater mines and depth charges with torpedos rapidly approaching our front which would be our only possible escape route with seemingly no way out.........................who did that sort of thing with the four walls no roof thing? i believe that it was bel, was it not? Shadow Zero Posted March 8, 2010 Report Share Posted March 8, 2010 you are incorrect, if a person creates a thread, they are left with the option of deleting the first post. you will find this in any thread that you have created. the only thing different about it is that it says deleting that post will delete all subsequent posts that followed after it. so even though he did give the thread to you he, was originally the one that had created it, and thus is able to delete it from existence, basically. thus, it has apparently been left for a way to break the rule of "minimodding"b. and also, the way out of my situation that i had used to sum up our current situation should be quite clear, but i will give a few clues just in case it isn't. the dangerous waters are the few number of active members that we have who currently even care about thread, and the fact that DMG is often unable to be on which thus leaves those who either just don't care anymore or just flat out dislike this thread as the temporary leaders.the depth charges and underwater mines are basically everyone in the FTR.the torpedoes are the ones that we will be facing in the 3v3, as well as those three who do not care about this thread anymore and yet have a higher power of authority. do these clues help to give you the answer? if not, then we are sunk.
