macs are simpler how ever windows can do just about every thing most of it it dosen't do very well and some things are just epic fail. macs may be less compatible but far more secure. And more so macs are far simpler to operate and have a little more of a common sense based operating system but you really don't need snow leopard for most tasks.

But batteries random exploding who posted that you say apples mud slinging? for hard core gamers for a desktop i recommend

a war machine m-1 elite for a laptop the alien ware M17x. for school/business i recommend a for a desktop a imac. for a laptop a mac book pro or if you want something smaller mac book air. i just don't see why people need to run smear campaigns their both pretty good and widows seven is a bit of a improvement in simplicity

PCs just have overall better compatibility for nearly everything~

You can deny it, but that won't make it untrue.

In addition, viruses should only be a concern if you use the internet irresponsibly. =3 I've had a PC for years, and the only crashes its ever experienced were never related to Viruses. =P It was bewcause Queen-sama was a bad girl and overtaxed her CPU with too many things at once~

And that is something that can happen just as easily to a Mac. <3

Other than what I've said, I agree with Darky-chan's sarcasm, and Phoenix-chan's italics~

*sigh*

This is the silliest thing I've had to point out yet:

Simplicity does not make your computer better.

If you can't figure out how to use the worthwhile things, so you bash them in favor of technology that is simpler but also inferior.....you're the equivalent of some guy that uses a typewriter, and says computers are some overly complicated, newfangled fad and you don't need to learn how to use them.

Further expansion:

Scenario 1 - You have 2 computers, both are the same quality. One, however, is easier to use. This computer is more efficient, and thus that would be the one you pick.

Scenario 2 - You have 2 computers. One is of a much higher quality than the other. However, the low quality one is easier to use. The best decision here, is to take the higher quality one, and learn how to use it. Sacrificing everything else for the sake of laziness is bad.

Scenario 2 is the one that actually exists. Compound this with the fact that a sizaeable quantity of people find PCs easier to use, and things are not looking so good for the mac. But it's trendy and sterile white, so go ahead and buy it. You'll be happy with your fail computer, and I'll be happy knowing that I'll never have to endure having you on my team in a game that requires strategy.

>_< Damn those bimbos' date=' giving females a bad name~!

D8 We're NOT all obsessed with how pretty a computer looks. We're NOT. -Hides pretty-pianted pink PC with glitter-

A use of sarcasm here is unacceptable.

No use of sarcasm here is totally unacceptable.

People are too lazy to code viruses for a new OS

Regardless of why that still means that its more secure.

Compatibility is the only good argument I have ever seen for windows. (games are part of computability)

Yes conceited *******, being simpler doesn't make something better. But just becuase its more complicated does not make it better at all either. Explain why its a fail computer, besides compatibility give me one good reason why. Scenario 2 is total crap. It isn't of a higher quality. It's of a lower quality AND harder to use. I'm not sacrificing anything for the sake of laziness. Going with PC is sacrificing high quality for fanboyism.

Actually scenario 2 applies with linux and anything else.

Very Well.

Let's look at Mac gaming:

The only good games originally released as Mac exclusive were Myst, Marathon, and Marathon 2.

These were later ported to Windows. All the other good mac games, were released on windows and ported. If you consider WoW a good mac game, it was released on both platforms.

The mac also has an incredibly small amount of games released on it compared to the PC.

Programs:

The only good mac program is Garageband. A windows program that works similarly has been developed (though it costs money).

Common Mac Programs: Word, Excel, Powerpoint (I've seen more macs with powerpoint than keynote), Indesign, and Photoshop. These are ALL windows or Adobe programs.

I believe I've stated before that it really says something about your system when even your diehard fanboys transfer the competitors programs to their computers in favor of the mac defaults.

Speed and Processing:

I have personally used several macs. Their graphics were decent, but not nearly as good as the PCs I've used. However, they were significantly slower.

It takes over 4 times as long to construct an indesign page, because of how slow they are.

Comparing a mac's speed to a window's, is like comparing a musket to an assault rifle.

Appearance:

Even though this category is irrelevant, I noticed something peculiar.

As you probably know, macintosh computers come in 2 types: Consumer and Professional.

The professional computers are superior (and more expensive) to the consumer models.

From this page, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_Macintosh_models, notice how the professional macs look different than the consumers. The professionals look incredibly similar to PCs.

Mac interface:

The mac's interface is clunky and nonsensical.

Instead of thing doing what you'd logically expect them to do when you move them places etc, they act irrationally.

Recovering lost data is also nigh impossible.

The majority of people I know find the mac's interface harder to use than windows XP and Vista.
