When this card is activated, draw 1 card. As long as this card remains in your Graveyard, the following effect is active: If an "Enigmatic" monster deals Battle Damage to your Opponent, Increase your Lifepoints by an ammount equal to half of the battle damage. Cypher - Crystal Saber -Spell-Only 1 "Cypher" card can be activated per turn. When this card is activated, draw 1 card. Cypher - Raw Torment -Spell-Only 1 "Cypher" card can be activated per turn. When this card is activated, draw 1 card. You can Remove this card in your Graveyard from play, and select 1 "Enigmatic" monster you control to activate the following effect: The origional ATK and DEF of that monster becomes 3000. During this turn, the selected monster cannot deal battle damage to your Opponent. Hidden DNA -Instant Spell-You can only activate this card, if your hand has at least 3 "Cypher" cards in it. Send them to the Graveyard, and draw a number of cards equal to the number of cards you sent to the Graveyard. The effects of the "Cypher" cards that you sent to the Graveyard, cannot be applied during this turn only. Reckless-Force, Ultimiate -Trap-After this card resolves, pay 1000 Lifepoints to activate this effect. Send any number of "Cypher" cards from your deck to your Graveyard. During the End Phase of this turn, Remove from play all "Cypher" cards in your Graveyard. DNA Immunity -Continuous Trap-If an "Enigmatic" monster you control would be destroyed, your Opponent selects 1 "Cypher" card in your Graveyard and removes it from play, instead. This card's activation and effect cannot be chained to. DNA Shuffler -Continuous Trap-Once per turn, your Opponent can select any number of "Cypher" cards in your hand, and resturn them to your deck(your deck is then shuffled), and then draw the same number of cards that were returned to the deck. If this card is destroyed by an Opponent's card effect, draw 2 cards. DNA Overload -Trap-Select 1 "Enigmatic" monster you control. Remove from play any number of "Cypher" cards in your Graveyard, and the selected monster gains 1000 ATK for each Removed card. So far, they seem well thought out, but with lack of monsters, may become rather useless... My Rating is - 8.5/10 Link to comment
Ririkun Posted November 14, 2009 Report Share Posted November 14, 2009 cyphers seem really interesting, except the drawing one cardthing is kind of broken, its like an "Upstart Goblin" but your opponent doesn't gain lifepoints AND you get beneficial effects,so I think cards like these would be splashable in many decks because it has no cost.Just what I think, the concept is pretty unique though. Plus, the way it is right now, you can only control 1 'Enigmatic' monster. Basicly the whole series is good in short bursts........Or so to say. Link to comment
