BanchoLeomon nodded, "Daniel, promise me that, if things do go south, you'll leave Darkdramon and I alone to clean up the mess, by any means necessary."

 

Gigimon, not really caring that Daniel and BanchoLeomon were talking, climbed up Daniel's back and plopped down on his head. "Gigi!" He shouted, bouncing up and down on the Commander's head, oblivious to the Knightmon outside the door, just as Daniel was oblivious to the giant hole in the wall.

 

"For the last God damned time, I'm not a DigiMarine!" Jack shouted as he was getting shoved down the hall by the Knightmon, "I'm Examon's Partner for crying out loud!"

 

"You naive little pawn, of course it does." Omnimon said, stalking over to the wizard Digimon "Right and wrong change solely because of who's in power. Morality is simply the will of the dominant God. For the last billion millennia, that has been Huanglongmon. But now, Ogudomon takes his rightful place as the God of Two Worlds. Can Huanglongmon make a claim to that title? No, only Lord Ogudomon can."

 

"I'm listening....dammit..." Lilamon muttered, "The DigiMarines landed but they're getting arrested... SWEET! We can stay here for a while longer!" The flower Digimon shouted as Liya started to stir.

[Premier Alexander Romanov]

"Now, will you please put my subordinates and our guests down on the deck? I think they are getting a bit woozy from being held over the side of the ship..."

Sure enough, Kayla had passed out from the action.

Daniel motioned for the Digi-Marines to submit as he walked down to be cuffed himself.

[Blackstone Dresden]

((I thought I had BanchoLeomon get Kayla the Hell outta there? And I also thought Darkdramon was waiting for her to wake up? So who the HELL does Darkdramon have?))

 

BanchoLeomon sighed and picked Gigimon up off Daniel's head "Commander, you forgot to take Gallantmon." He said, sheathing Dan Kon "And if any of you Ultimates get anywhere near me with a pair of handcuffs, I'm gonna shove you through a wall." He added, holding Gigimon in one hand, with the other around Dan Kon's hilt.

[Hydra of Ages]

Mistymon smirked a little. "Individual power is useless, meaningless. Any inanimate object can have power. A God with power is necessary. A god with ONLY power to his name is little more than a parasite." He gestured with his hand.

"It is justice that breeds society. Justice breeds wisdom. Wisdom breeds knowledge, growth, and emotion, and then knowledge breeds power. Justice is the root of all that is necessary in a ruler, and altogether more useful in any setting than the presence of power."

He crossed his arms. "He who administers Justice must have power, but not all that possess power are worthy of administering Justice."

Seri raised a hand in silent celebration. "Yay."

[Proto]

"I may not be the smartest of the Royal Knights, but even I know that you're out of order this time Omnimon. I mean, what happened to the ruler of the Royal Knights? The Pure and Just wielder of the Garuru Blaster and Grey Sword?" Craniamon then twirled his blade around and held the Omni Shield at the ready, he would not let LordKnightmon take this guy on his own, he would avenge Imperialdramon.

 

Meanwhile Lee continued to watch the conflict of the Royal Knights from afar, he was worrying about Omnimon's condition and would it spread?

[The Warden]

Velgemon chuckled. 'I am perfectly aware of that fact, there are very few who can control the corrupted darkness, the boy I am using was only half way, Duskmon is an easy tool for any human, but it takes real control to control me, or Augemormon for that fact' the bird admitted. He began to circle them both, dipping his left wing to face them. 'The boy will degrade the longer he stays like this, I don't mind, I'll find another. Your second partner looks like a fine target. Swordsmanship skills, full of energy and harbouring a deep feeling of regret, perfect' he mocked, completing the circle. 'If not for your imminate destruction. ZONA DELETOR!' Velgemon cried. The circle he had made whilst flying lit up, generating the enormous black circle. 'I have no regrets, but you certainly do. I couldn't have done that whilt Valdurmon was here, but, as they say, duty calls' Velgemon said maliciously.

[Blackstone Dresden]

"Exactly my point. Huanglongmon has infinite power, and he dedicates his endless life to sleep. How I could ever have worshiped someone like that is beyond me. But now, Ogudomon has shown me the way, that the only true path to light is through the darkness. The Demon Lords' darkness with destroy the virus that is Huanglongmon and lead us all into Lord Ogudomon's world, one of never ending peace and prosperity for his followers. You, you pathetic Fallen Knights, will be crushed by the full force of the one true JUSTICE! Supreme Cannon!" He roared, firing a long sweeping blast a Craniamon and Mistymon

 

"What...what did I miss?" Liya asked, rolling on her side to face Seri, Minerva, and Lilac "Where'd WaruSeadramon go?" She noticed that the clouds had completely dissipated "How long was I out?"

Sam pulled the digisoul pads they were standing on into a bubble of energy aroud them. Sam kept it that way until the attack faded. The sher amount of raw energy it took to hold up the defense drained Sam. But he wouldn't give in. Not yet at least. Sam pushed out the digisoul returning it to platforms. Sam fell to his knee using his other hand and knee to keep himself up.

"Sam are you okay?" Mammothmon asked.

"Yes. I. Will be. Fine." He told the digimon inbetween breaths, when he got his breath back he stood and stretched his arms casually, "Was the the best you've got Velgemon? I'm upset."

"Freezing Breath!" Mammothmon shouted as he blasted the freezing air towards Velgemon with his trunk.

[The Warden]

Velgemon stopped beating his wings and dropped down below the attack, falling until he picked himself up and behind them. 'Well, it appears I have accomplished something. But don't try your tough bravado on me, I can see you were weakening, my third eye sees all' Velgemon declared. 'But very clever, using your digi-soul to shield from my attacks I admit I am impressed. You have come quite a long way from using me. But in the end, what though wields shalt ultimately become their end. I will destroy you for the chaos you wrought as Duskmon, and it shall be glorious' he declared.

[Proto]

Craniamon quickly stood in front of Omnimon, wielding his shield and held it out high. He bellowed "Power of Breath!". Using a bit of power from Huanglongmon, he managed to block the attack, however the shield dissolved into dust after its use against the power of Omnimon's attack. "Thats it, you may take our pride, our dignity, our power and use it against us but the power of justice shall defend me." He then told the half-Royal Knight "LordKnightmon, if you know where to find any of our brothers go find them, now!" The purple knight then aimed a strike at his previous master with his spear while aiming a punch to his face with the other.

[Blackstone Dresden]

Omnimon took the punch and placed his Greymon head against Craniamon's chest "Transcendent. Sword." He said slowly, savoring every syllable "Do you honestly think that you could hurt me, yes, you get a boost from Huanglongmon, and I get one from Ogudomon to nullify your advantage, and I don't think there's any doubt in anyone's mind that you're nothing compared to my power." He asked, firing off three measured bursts at Mistymon again, color draining from his unsheathed Grey Sword.

((Broken: I think that you're getting me mixed up with ProtoMachineKing. He held the corrupted spirit. Duskmon merely tried to infuse its power into Sam.))

"Strange. An evil digimon destroying someone for being evil." Sam then thought back. "I think you have mistaken me for someone else. If I remember rightly Lee was the one who held that spirit. Has your memory gone with your looks?"

"Enough talking," Mammothmon cried, "Tusk Crusher!"

 

"You know Lucemon. You were a terrible leader." A strange aura started to swirl around Valdurmon, "Hyper Tornado!"

[The Warden]

Velgemon stopped and thought. 'I'll admit my will was befuddled after you resisting me, but what you say is true it appears, oh well, mistakes are often made *Damn it Velgemon, this is my body and I demand custordy of it*, why bother worrying about them?' Velgemon muttered and ducked, getting hit in one of the wings by the blast. He tumbled down, before picking himself up and becoming level with the duo. 'This body is resisting, he's demanding control again' Velgemon remarked in an annoyed tone. 'But still, I wish to ask you something. Can you do it?' he inquired.

 

'Terrible leader was I? Who was it that instigated the rebelion so long ago? I was. You six stood behind me all the way' Lucemon remarked whilst the attack approached. He easily dodged the attack by drfiting to the left. 'Now now Beelzemon don't be so difficult. I will offer you a quick reprieve, who knows, after your death, I might allow your battery to live until you are reborn, blessed in the dark gods power again' he declared.

[ZhaneX]

Vincent stirred out of his sleep, his eyes opening and looking around his room. His head felt like it had been dealt a heavy blow with a sledgehammer, several times. His entire body ached, and the large scar in the center of his being felt like it had only been made yesterday. Still, he pulled himself out of bed and exitted his room. Looking around, he spotted BlackGuilmon by the pool, laying down and using his tail to make circles in the water. Walking over, Vincent sat down next to his partner, sticking his legs into the water.

"Hey, how's it goin'?" Vincent asked.

"I'm not...really sure..." BlackGuilmon answered slowly.

"Why? What's up?"

"...I was originally the Royal Knight Gallantmon...remember when I fought against Mistymon, the Ultimate form of LordKnightmon?"

"Huh? Oh yeah, that was pretty long ago."

"Did his partner explain what his purpose was?"

"Huh? Oh yeah...something about following his own personal strict code, acting as a sort of law-within-the-law."

"Yeah, that's about it. I was practically the opposite. While LordKnightmon kept us in line with his scrict code, I was the more...liberal of the knights, following a code based more on my own morals, than laws like his."

"Right, which is why your still here, despite having regained all your memories...what's the point of this little talk exactly?"

"It's just...when I was first...'corrupted', I was forced to be totally obsessed with the Demon Lords, for that time they were, in my eyes, the greatest things in the universe. And then...I was given the chance to be one..."

"And now you are."

"Yeah, right...but with my memories back, that damn brainwashing gone...I don't really care anymore..."

Vincent glanced around BlackGuilmon's body, taking a look at his right shoulder where the Symbol of Greed glowed a faint neon-green, the glow pulsating every few seconds.

"I suppose that's what's called 'irony', isn't it?" Vincent said.

"...yeah...right...still...is it just me or-"

"I agree...I'm bored too." Vincent said with a chuckle.

"Heh, exactly. We've just been left here, while everyone else is out and about..."

A few seconds of silence passed before the two burst out into laughter.

"Gah, that serious talk...pft,"

"I know, now all we can do is laugh...still..."

"I wonder if Ogudomon would let us go out and about yet?"

Sam and Mammothmon stopped, Velgemon was acting very strange. He was talking to himself and not attacking.

"Is he ok?" Mammothmon wondered asking his partner the question.

"I'm not sure. But if he is distracted then lets take our chance, attack Velgemon now!" Sam shouted.

"You got it. Tundra Breath!" Mammothmon used his icy attack.

 

"You don't get it do you." Valdurmon said, "We were either corrupted or brainwashed. My design may have been based on a file about a demon, but I was never evil. Not until you and the other demon lords came for me. Deep down I hated what I was doing, but I couldn't control myself." Valdurmon breathed deeply and calmed himself. "I will not be destroyed today. This new digivolution that Haunglongmon gave me has an immense power, in fact I would go as far as saying it is this ultimate weapon in the destruction of evil."

[Hydra of Ages]

Mistymon stood his ground, and grunted, flicking his hands as air compressed around him into a translucent shield on his left wrist. He had been charging the technique while he had been talking, hoping to make a spell that could help him hold his ground against the Greatest of the Royal Knights. He wasn't sure if it would hold, but Yggdrasil providing, he would do his duty to the end.

"Ausstarben!"

came the yell, and a massive explosion. One of the Blasts had detonated early, the other two skewed off course by the attack. A small figure, holding a thin rapier descended by Mistymon's side. The figure was feminine, and seemed to have feline characteristics though a pair of strange white wings adorned her back. Black armor shielded her body, modeled in the shape and form of a leopard, culminating in the helmet resembling the maw of the Leopard to cap off the entire form. Strangely, however, a male human seemed to sit atop the woman, crossing his legs around her neck for balance. He sighed a little, peering at Omnimon.

"You know, you'd be really awesome if you were on our side. Whoosh! Whoosh! Sword! Cannon! Awesome." He human smirked a little, uncrossed his legs, and jumped off the woman he was seated on, falling a little before coming to a stop in thin air. He walked up a couple imaginary 'steps', until he was at the same level of the others.

The leopard woman glanced towards Mistymon and nodded. "LordKnightmon." she said simply.

"Leopardmon." Mistymon said with a nod in response."

"Hm? Oh, WaruSeadramon's here." she said, pointing to the crab in her hair who twitched a little at the touch, scuttling across her scalp and settling as a hairpin against the bang on the other side of her face.

[The Warden]

Velgemon ducked the attack but, only barely. He leveled again and looked at the duo. 'The boy wishes to talk, I will allow this request. Velgemon, slide evolution' he cried, his form warping into Duskmon. 'Finally' Duke remarked. He spared no time and looked at Sam. 'I knew I had seen you somewhere before. The battle between Gotsumon and Phelesmon, do you remember? The fight was intervened by Mercurymon' Duke stated.

 

Lucemon actually smiled at that remark. 'Good? Evil? Did you always tag beings in such a way? No matter, I will show you how 'evil' I am' Lucemon stated, drawing out the e part. In his left hand, he summoned a sphere of light. 'I will prove you wrong with my Ultimate Sacrifice' Lucemon cried, hurling the shimmering sphere at Valdurmon.

[//Zeromaru//]

"Yes I remember," Sam thought back. He had almost tried to attack Mercurymon then, even though he had no need to. "Why bring this up?"

"Sam try to concentrate, do not let him confuse you." Mammothmon called out.

"Don't worry, I wont let him."

 

"PURGE SHINE!" Valdurmon shouted. His wings shot outswards and created an impenitrable shield. The attack did nothing. "The Purge Shine cannot be broken, by any attack cast by an evil mind." The shield faded, "And yes I always knew the difference between good and evil. Maybe thats why Huanglongmon gave me a mega that cannot be destroyed by evil."

[The Warden]

'Confuse him? Why would I want to do that? You really have no sense' Duke remarked to Mammothmon. 'No, I brought it up for a reason. The Mercurymon cried out for them to stop, that there was no reason in fighting. Yet you both persisted in doing so. That Mercurymon felt strongly in justice, a naive approach in the cold world. He tried to stop the fight, but in the end, he was told he was useless, that he should've returned back to his own world. He departed ways with Gotsumon, eventually, he returned back to the battle site he had left. He was swallowed whole by the Infinite Abyss. The time spent in darkness gave that Mercurymon time to think, in the end, he didn't understand it anymore, that is, until he met his own partner, the Demon Lord, Lucemon. He sided with Lucemon, because in truth, Huanglongmon had failed as god, it was only time until Ogudomon took over, which he shall. Mercurymon was called a traitor by a comrade of a side he never truly chose. In turn, Mercurymon forsaked his own name, in a pitious state he relinquished the spirit to spare it harm. The human left behind donned a new name, Duskmon' Duke recited as if he had planned this whole thing out.

 

'Really, you need to get your eyes checked' Lucemon remarked as the glowing sphere reappeared, forcing the shield inwards. 'I do not possess an evil mind, because pure evil or pure good does not exist. I am not evil, nor was I ever. I do what I believed was the right thing, thus I was called evil by those who oppossed my decision. In turn, I believe in what I feel is the right choice. You are evil for calling myself evil, but then, you were always evil. You cannot wash away the sins of the past, you have no right to call yourself the holy bird Valdurmon. Because the true Valdurmon can see no evil. YOU SEE NOTHING BUT LIES OF THE FAILED GOD!' Lucemon shouted, forcing the sphere further. 'If I have to destroy you to get my comrade back, so be it' Lucemon declared.

[//Zeromaru//]

"You were Mercurymon?" Sam thought about this for a moment, "Then your just as stupid as that Gotsumon. I would battle him right here and now even if we are on the same side. He claimed to fight for the side of good. But just like each individual Demon Lord, even Beelzemon while he was corrupted, he fought for his own power." Sam put his digivice down by his side, "This is my fault."

Mammothmon turnd his head, "What do you mean Sam?"

"I was fighting Gotsumon. And mercurymon tried to stop us. Because of that Gotsumon called him a traitor. He left Gotsumon and eventaully found Lucemon." Sam looked at Duskmon, "I am ultimatley the reason he became who he is now. I am sorry."

"Regardless of what you did, or did not do. What he has, or has not become. He will destroy us given the chance."

"I know."

 

 

Valdurmon could feel his shield collapsing, Perhaps he truley believes that what he is doing is not evil. If thats so then my Purge Shine may not be fully effective. Valdurmon let these thoughts go through his head, No, if thats what he thinks then he has been completley deluded. He must be stopped.

"I never said an 'Evil Mind'. I said evil as in teh doign of evil things." Valdurmon smirked, "You destroyed angels. They were your own kind, aswell as probably the only digimon who would have forgiven you even if you didn't mean it. Perhaps you are correct, perhaps there is no 'good' or 'evil'. But there is right and wrong. And what you have done is sooo wrong. And you must be stopped. AURORA UNDULATION!" The holy bird digimon cried.

[The Warden]

Despite his mouth guard, Duke smiled. 'No, you are not responsible for this, I was called a traitor by another, the royal knight Mistymon, a self-deluded robot he was. In turn, I thought I was fighting for Huanglongmon, but I was wrong. He brought humans into this world to do something he could not do. Stop an uprising from a rival god, who too was sealed away. He never cared for the meatshields he hurled against the oppossing force. After I realized that, I fought for myself, for justice, but it was all for naught. There is no justice in this world, but those who destroy another to survive. Don't feel so bad, despite the fact thtat your friend is quite correct, I will destroy you. Maybe not now, but sometime soon or in the distant future' Duke declared.

 

Lucemon yawned with his free hand. 'And if I did, what of it? They tried to stop the choice I had made and the path I had created for myself, there is no greater evil than stopping a person's dreams. Besides, how could I call them my own kind when I was labelled a demon after I had made my choice. If you believe what I am doing is wrong, then prove it, prove it to your once leader' Lucemon ordered. As Valdurmon's attack grew closer, he summoned a black sphere in his right hand. 'Every light is made to shield a greater darkness' Lucemon added and hurled the black sphere into the attack, cutting it straight through and crashing into his original white sphere. 'I was given the powers of light, and I inherited the powers of darkness. I have an existance that contradicts, one side screams for destruction, the other cries out for love and prospering, decisions like that take time' he added with a hint of irony. The two conflicted sphers began too release chaotic energy. 'This is the end' Lucemon declared.

"You know what Duskmon. I think you're right. Huanglongmon doesn't care about us humans." Sam declared.

"WHAT?!?!" Mammothmon shouted. Sam raised his hand.

"He may not care about humans, but he does care about the digital world. You can't say that about Ogudomon. He may want to rule the digital world, but it doesn't matter to him what state its in." Sam smiled, "Take it from one of Ogudomon's former minions, the dark lord would destroy us himself if we even question the colour of his eyes."

"He's right you know," Mamothmon chimed in, "For all of Huanglongmon's talk he's really a big softy."

"The Royal Knights have their own code, they work for Alphamon who in turn works for Yggdrasil. They only fight Ogudomon because he would go against their god."

"As one of the Royal Knights Mistymon was RhodoKnightmon, Crusadermon whatever. And his job was 'justice'. He was an idiot, who believed that he was the ultimate voice for the truth. You shouldn't believe everyone of authority in the digital world."

 

"Purge Shine" Valdurmon said ready to block anything that could occur. "You never chose darkness. You were drawn to it by that creature GranDracmon." He stopped and thought things over. "I agree with you and Ogudomon, Huanglongmon isn't in the right. He shouldn't have that power and not use it. Ogudomon on the other hand, has power that he would use to destroy. Hw would destroy me, you, the entire digital world. He is using everyone. Why do you think that he only uses corrupted digimon adn brainwashed humans?"

[The Warden]

Duke nodded thoughtfully. 'I am aware of LordKnightmon's stupidity, that's why I regarded him as a robot, however, even so, what he said was true. That is why I discarded Mercurymon, so I wouldn't hurt his legacy, however, I never did give up the right as legendary warrior of steel. Once I find the Tiferet, I will have access to Sakkakumon. But I'm wasting time here, in truth, I've come for information, tell me, where is Lilithmon's digi-egg? She was destroyed some time ago and Lucemon detected the symbol of lust onto one of the digimarine's ships. We demand the egg back' Duke ordered.

 

Lucemon smirked as he stopped his attack. 'I might've chosen darkness, there are some angels who resist the fascination of that beast, but you cannot be certain that I did. In truth, I might've resisted, though there was a part of me that didn't. My lust for power was quite strong in those old days, drunk off my own power I still wanted more, it is the classic story of power madness. I am aware of what Ogudomon hopes to achieve, I am certain that you know that too was my own aim. When the world is destroyed, either he or I will be there to pick up the pieces' he replied.

[//Zeromaru//]

Mammothmon burst out laughing, "You think she's dead!" Stamping his foot he continued his laughing, "Thats the funniest thigns I've ever heard Ogudomon's minions say."

"He's right, the Lillithmon your master knew may have been destroyed, but she isn't dead." Mammothmon was still laughing, "Mammothmon be quiet. Thats not very nice."

 

"Of course. You were always too ambitious, Lucemon. You realise that Ogudomon would never let you control this world or the human world. He would find a way to stop even from the grave." Valdurmon charged his energy, "You don't realise what's going to happen, you're vision has been clouded. AURORA UNDULATION!" He fired a powerful blast towards the fallen angel.

[The Warden]

Duke was confused by the creature's odd outburst. 'How can someone be dead, yet still alive? I do not understand this response, nor the reasons by of it. I don't understand' he admitted. 'She's alive, yet still dead in a ways, I don't get it'. 'We were told that she was dead by one of the demon lords, I still don't get it'.

 

Lucemon raised his hands and the attack stopped, he clicked his fingers and the attack collapsed in on itself. 'You underestimate me, though whilst your shield is powerful and able to repel my attacks, my power stops your, a hideous standstill. But, since we're on good terms like this, tell me where Lilithmon is. We were both aware of her deck, and since you seem to be tying the knot with those disgusting marines, you know where they keep her remains'.
