Dark Mephiles doesn't really have a useful effect, because it can't Special Summon any monster. I love the cards, even though there are errors. If it was true, then Hyper Knuckles would be called Hyper Super Knuckles, and all of the forms would have "Super" in the middle of them, because the energy he absorbs in all of his forms if very similar to the energy of the Chaos Emeralds if not exactly the same. I was looking for it for a long time, only found Hyper Knuckles. With the Super Emeralds, still the same thing. If a Pokemon Evolves, its still a Pokemon. If Winged Kuriboh becomes LV10, its still Winged Kuriboh. I think the argument can end now. Dark Sonic didn't appear in any games either way.
