And now, for the newest Black D'Sceptyr booster pack that takes Swarming to a new Level-Hive of Hysteria!

As the spider settles, greatness arises around it-the spider is only its producer. That is one of my many mottos. It is also an inspiration to me. See, I always search endlessly for a way to think outside the box, to go above and beyond in my quest to revolutionize the card-making universe. So I consider every post I create a personal victory of perseverance and prowess.

Before I become TOO into the moment, let's continue. THIS pack contains a new Swarming archtype-appropriately called The Swarm. This is a collection of Insect-Type monsters that can easily overcome the field-from ALL areas. They can become Spells or Traps, can be Summoned to your opponent's side of the field, and can even activate effects in the Deck and Graveyard. Keep in mind, this Archetype was built to equal, if not overshadow, the Blackwings in Summoning ability, and that is NOT easy.

So, aside from that, I've placed in a second Archtype, even though I think Honest is reason enough not to-the Maedas Coalition. This is a collection of LIGHT Warrior-Type monsters that can customize the area beneath them-in stages. All it'll take is a little patience.

In addition, I'm placing in some Zombie, Warbound, and Insect-Type support. Also, they'll be a small glimpse of my Level X Monsters. And the next pack I'm creating will be a legendary first in the Yu-Gi-Oh Card Forum-one of the greatest Psychic-Archtypes ever! I'm not telling anymore, no more ruining the surprise. Leave some reviews, please.

Arcus, Equalizer of Maedas: When this card is Summoned, you can treat the Monster Card Zone this card is on as a Heal Card Zone. During your Standby Phase, if a monster is in a Heal Card Zone, increase your Life Points by an amount equal to the monster's Levelx200. Once per turn, when a "Maedas" monster on your side of the field is attacked, you can pay 1000 Life Points to switch the attack target to this card. When this card is removed from the field, change the Card Zone affected by this card's effect back to a Monster Card Zone.

The Swarm's Slasher-Syi'Philys; Once per turn, if there is a "Swarm" monster on your side of the field, you can place this card on the field on your opponent's side of the field as a Continous Trap Card, or remove it from that Zone and Special Summon it to your side of the field as a Monster Card. While this card is a Continuous Trap Card, it's effect becomes:

() Once per turn, you can negate the effect of a card that would negate monster effects and destroy it.

The Swarm's Spawner-Lu'Kymya; Once per turn, if there is a "Swarm" monster on your side of the field, you can place this card on the field in your Field Spell Card Zone as a Normal Spell Card. While this card is a Normal Spell Card, it's effect becomes:

() Tribute 1 Insect-Type monster. This card remains on the field until your 3rd End Phase after activation. In addition to your regular Normal Summon, you can Normal Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Insect-Type monster from your hand.

241310k.jpg241310.jpg

The Swarm's Manifester-Mala'Rya; This card cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard. If there are 3 or more "Swarm" monsters in your Spell and Trap Card Zone, you can Normal Summon this card without Tribute. During your opponent's Main Phase, when they Normal Summon a monster, you can pay 500 Life Points to Special Summon 1 "Tentacle Token" (DARK/Insect/Level 2/ATK 700/DEF 700) to your side of the field. If this card is attacked, you can redirect the attack to a "Tentacle Token" on the field. When a "Tentacle Token" is destroyed as a result of battle, your opponent takes 700 damage. While there is a "Tentacle Token" on the field, this card cannot attack.

The Swarm's Stinger-Rik'Itz; Once per turn, if there is a "Swarm" monster on your side of the field, you can place this card on the field on your opponent's Spell and Trap Card Zone as a Continous Spell Card, or remove it from that Zone and Special Summon it to your side of the field as a Monster Card. While this card is a Continuous Spell Card, it's effect becomes:

() When a monster in the Card Zone above this card attacks, reduce it's ATK by 800. If this card is destroyed by its controller's card effect, both players can Special Summon 1 Level 5 or higher Insect-Type monster from their respective Graveyards.

241310.jpg241310z.jpg

Niko, Paratrooper of Maedas; When this card is Summoned, you can treat the Monster Card Zone this card is on as a Fly Card Zone. Once per turn, while you have a monster on a Fly Card Zone, you can remove 1 face-down card on the field from play. Return the removed card to the field in the same position it was in at the end of the next turn after this effect was activated. Monsters on Fly Card Zones cannot attack. When this card is removed from the field, change the Card Zone affected by this card's effect back to a Monster Card Zone.

Miles, Empowerer of Maedas; When this card is Summoned, you can treat the Monster Card Zone this card is on as a Charge Card Zone. Increase the ATK of all cards in a Charge Card Zone by 1000. If a monster, other than this card, is in a Charge Card Zone during the End Phase, destroy it and take 500 damage. When this card is removed from the field, change the Card Zone affected by this card's effect back to a Monster Card Zone.

241310y.jpg241310b.jpg

Gina, Peacekeeper of Maedas: This card cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard. When this card is Summoned, you can treat the Card Zone this card is on as a Truce Card Zone. Monsters in Truce Card Zones cannot attack. When a monster is in a Truce Card Zone, monsters with a higher Level than that monster cannot attack. If this card is destroyed while it is in a Truce Card Zone, you can Special Summon 1 Level 6 Fairy-Type monster from your hand. If this card is removed from the field, return the Card Zone affected by this card's effect back to a Monster Card Zone.

241310c.jpg241310q.jpg

Tia, Pathfinder of Maedas: When this card is Summoned, you can treat the Monster Card Zone this card is on as a Discover Card Zone. Once per turn, if there is a Level 2 or lower Fairy-Type monster in a Discover Card Zone, you can Tribute that monster to declare 1 card name and flip 1 face-down card on the field face-up. If its name is the same as the name you declared, you can return that card to the bottom of its controller's Deck. If not, place the card back to its original position and remove the top card of your Deck from play. When this card is removed from the field, change the Card Zone affected by this card's effect back to a Monster Card Zone.

241310jc.jpg241310q.jpg

The Swarm's Adaptor-Bul'Lymya; This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card, "Extinction or Evolution?". When a "Swarm" monster other than this card attacks, place 1 Adaption Counter on this card. Double this card's ATK for each Adaption Counter on this card (this card's ATK cannot exceed 4800 by its own effect.) When this card is targeted by a card effect that would destroy it, you can remove 2 Adaption Counters from this card to negate it, and change the battle position of 1 face-up monster on the field.

The Swarm's Frontrunner-Ye'Lo Fi'Va; This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card, "Extinction or Evolution?". When this card attacks, you can select 1 Level 7 or higher Insect-Type monster in your Graveyard, Special Summon it, and have it attack instead. During your End Phase, destroy all monsters Special Summoned by this card's effect.

241310n.jpg241310.jpg

The Swarm's Wall-Bron'Kytys; If there are 2 "Swarm" monsters on the field, you can Normal Summon this card without Tribute. Once per turn, if there is another "Swarm" monster on the field, you can place this card on the field in your opponent's Spell and Trap Card Zone and treat it as a Continuous Trap Card, OR remove it from that Zone and Special Summon it to your side of the field as a Monster Card. While this card is a Continous Trap Card, it's effect becomes:

() Negate the effects of all cards you control that involve offering monsters as Tributes. Gain 700 Life Points every time you Tribute Summon a monster.

241310g.jpg241310r.jpg

The Swarm's Caller-Mi'Citoma; This card cannot be Special Summoned. Return this card to the hand at the End Phase of the turn this card is Summoned or flipped face-up. If this card is in face-up Attack Position, it cannot be destroyed by battle. During the End Phase of a turn that this card battles a monster with higher ATK, and it has been returned to the hand by its own effect, you can Special Summon 1 "Swarm" monster from your hand with less DEF than the Battle Damage you took.

The Swarm's Scarlet Claw-Niu'Monya; You cannot Special Summon monsters, unless it is by this card's effect. Once per turn, you can flip 1 monster on your side of the field into face-down Defense Position. When an Insect-Type monster is Flip Summoned, you can remove 1 "Swarm" monster in your hand from play to Special Summon 1 "Swarm" monster from your Graveyard. During your End Phase, if there are 2 or less cards in your hand, destroy this card.

241310f.jpg241310.jpg

Julia, Bounty Hunter of Maedas; When this card is Summoned, you can treat the Card Zone this card is on as a Bounty Card Zone. While this card is in a Bounty Card Zone, you can remove 2 cards in your Graveyard from play to place 1 Bounty Counter on a monster on the field. When this card destroys monster with Bounty Counters on it as a result of battle, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the number of Bounty Counters that were on the monster x150. When this card is removed from the field, change the Card Zone affected by this card's effect back to a Monster Card Zone.

Maedas' Elite: Lorenzo the Blaze; This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except with "Manifest Destiny." This card's ATK cannot be increased by any effect but its own. When a card effect activates that would inflict damage, increase this card's ATK by an amount equal to that amount of damage instead. During your second End Phase after you Summoned this card, Tribute it and select 1 other monster on the field. Inflict damage to both players equal to half of its combined ATK and DEF.

241310e.jpg241310k.jpg

Maedas' Elite: Veronica the Breeze; This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except with "Manifest Destiny." This card's ATK cannot be increased by any effect but its own. When an card effect activates that would reutrn card(s) on the field to the hand or Deck, negate it and increase this card's ATK by 600. When this card's ATK becomes 3000 by its own effect, Tribute it and return all cards on the field to their owners' hands. For every 2 cards returned by this effect, both players discard 1 card.

Maedas' Elite: Maxim the Blade; This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except with "Manifest Destiny." This card's ATK cannot be increased by any effect but its own. Once per turn, when a monster on the field attacks, negate that attack and increase this card's ATK by 500. If this card's ATK becomes 3000 by it's own effect, Tribute it and select 1 monster on both players' sides of the field. Destroy any monsters that battle the selected monsters after Damage Calculation.

241310.jpg241310b.jpg

Maedas' Elite: Marc the Boulder: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except with "Manifest Destiny." This card's ATK cannot be increased by any effect but its own. When a card effect activates that would change the battle position of a monster(s), negate it and increase this card's ATK by 600. If this card's ATK becomes 3000 by its own effect, Tribute it. For the next three turns after this card has been Tributed this way, change the battle positions of all monsters on the field during each players' Standby Phases. Neither player can change the battle positions of monsters affected by this effect, except with a card effect.

Maedas' Elite: Raigas the Bane: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except with "Manifest Destiny." This card's ATK cannot be increased by any effect but its own. When a Level 7 or higher monster is Special Summoned, immediately destroy it and increase this card's ATK by 300. During the End Phase of a turn when this card's ATK becomes 3000 by its own effect, Tribute it and Special Summon as many Level 6 or lower monsters as possible from both player's Graveyards to their respective sides of the field. Their effect(s) are negated.

When this card is removed from the field, change the Card Zone(s) affected by this card's effect back to Monster Card Zones.

241310o.jpg241310nm.jpg

241310az.jpg241310w.jpg

241310.jpg241310y.jpg

241310o.jpg241310j.jpg

The Venus Shifter: "The Venus Pawn" + 1 or more non-Tuner Plant-Type monsters

When this card is Synchro Summoned, select 1 removed from play Plant-Type monster and equip it to this card. This card gains ATK equal to the equipped monster's ATK. If the equipped monster is destroyed by a monster effect, destroy the monster that destroyed it.

241310k.jpg241310j.jpg

Warbound-Auros the Altered Boar: This card cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard. Once per turn, when a Beast, Beast-Warrior or Winged-Beast-Type monster is attacked, destroy the attacking monster without applying damage calculation. If "War-Torn Stronghold" is on the field, this card's effect instead becomes:

() This card cannot be Special Summoned. Your opponent's monsters cannot attack any other "Warbound" monsters during the turn they are Summoned.

241310v.jpg241310v.jpg

241310te.jpg241310.jpg

Ultimate Insect LV X; This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except with "Level Optimizer" after you have removed 1 "Ultimate Insect LV 7" by its effect. When this card is Summoned, increase the ATK of all other Insect-Type monsters you control by their Level x200. As long as this card is on the field, reduce the ATK of all monsters on your opponent's side of the field by 900. Also, negate the effects of all Counter Trap Cards. When this card is removed from the field, its controller takes 1000 damage and your opponent can draw until they have 5 cards in their hand.

241310d.jpg241310c.jpg

Digital Slayer: Ersac the Effortless; This card's effect can only be activated if, when this card is Summoned, there is a monster on the field with a lower Level than this card's. While this card remains face-up on the field, if your opponent Special Summons a Level 7 or higher LIGHT monster, you can Tribute this card and send 1 "Digital" monster with the same Level as the Summoned monster from your Deck to the Graveyard to take control of it.

241310fs.jpg241310tg.jpg

Digital Striker Twin: Angie the Angelic; When two or more Level 4 or lower "Digital Striker" monsters you control are destroyed by your opponent's card effect, you can remove them from play to Special Summon this card from your hand. If you do, then you can choose Spell Cards or Trap Cards. When this card inflicts Battle Damage, you can look at the top five cards of your opponent's Deck and send all cards of the chosen type to the Graveyard.

Digital Slayer Twin: Dante the Demonic; When two or more Level 5 or higher "Digital Slayer" monsters, other than "Digital Slayer Twin: Dante the Demonic" that you control are destroyed by your opponent's card effect, you can remove them from play to Special Summon this card from your hand. If you do, choose a Type and destroy all face-up monsters on the field with the chosen Type. If this card is destroyed by its own effect, Special Summon it from the Graveyard during the End Phase.

241310fl.jpg241310e.jpg

241310n.jpg241310n.jpg

Faeren, the Benevolent; 1 Tuner + 1 Level 8 Fairy-Type monster

Any card effect that would inflict damage to you instead increases your Life Points by the same amount. When your opponent pays 1500 or more Life Points to activate an effect, you can discard 1 LIGHT monster from your hand to Special Summon this card from your Graveyard.

241310e.jpg241310o.jpg

Amethyst Scythe; This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. When this card is face-up on the field, you can Normal Summon this card to have it be treated as an Effect Monster with this effect:

() Your opponent cannot activate Equip Spell Cards. When the ATK of 1 monster you control (other than this card) is decreased, you can Tribute this card to increase that monster's ATK by 1500.

Two variant cards, as per se...

241310n.jpg241310p.jpg

The Swarm's Commander-Bheri'Bheri; Once per turn, if you control another "Swarm" monster, you can place this card face-up in your Spell and Trap Card Zone face-down. You cannot flip this card face-up the same turn it is placed in the Spell and Trap Card Zone. When this card is flipped face-up, it is treated as a Normal Trap Card with this effect:

() Remove 2 "Swarm" cards on the field from play. Discard 2 cards from your opponent's hand. If one of the discarded cards is a Monster Card, you can Special Summon Insect-Type monsters from your hand whose Levels are equal to the discarded monster's Level.

Regis, Grand Phoenix of Maedas; 1 Tuner + 2 or more non-Tuner "Maedas" monsters

When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can change up to 4 Card Zones on your opponent's side of the field into Sear Card Zones. You opponent must pay 400 Life Points to place a face-up card in a Sear Card Zone. When this card is removed from the field, change the Card Zones affected by this card's effect back to their normal Card Zones.

Card Rulings and Regulations (first time EVER! WOO!):

Maedas: 1) Zones made by these card's effects, unless listed otherwise, are still under the same regulations as the zones they previously were. By that I mean that if a Monster Card Zone is treated as a Fly Card Zone, it still works like a regular Monster Card Zone; you still place monsters in it and they can still attack if able. The Zones just have additional effects and to avoid them being confused, I give the zones seperate names as well.

2) The zones changed by "Maedas" monsters also disappear if the "Maedas" monster that made it is flipped face-down. When the "Maedas monster is flipped face-up, then the new zone, (if it is in one) becomes the zone it changes if it is Summoned the way it needs to be.

3) When a custom zone is changed back to a Monster Card Zone by a "Maedas" monster's removal, the monster that was in it, if it is not the one removed, isn't destroyed; it just loses any benefits (or defects) that it usually had by being in that Zone.

The Swarm: 1) When a "Swarm" monster is placed into a Spell and Trap Card Zone, it is treated as a Spell or Trap Card; your opponent must use a card that destroys Spell or Trap Card's on the field to destroy that "Swarm" card, not cards that stop Monster Summoning.

2) If a "Swarm" monster that was treated as a Spell or Trap Card is sent to the Graveyard, or is removed in any other way, it is no longer treated as a Spell or Trap Card; it becomes a Monster Card.

3) "Swarm" effects that rely on other "Swarm" CARDS means BOTH "Swarm" monsters and "Swarm" Spell and Trap Cards.

Whew!...Hope I tied up all the loose ends. Leave reviews-the more descriptive, the better! And stay tuned for the arrival of my newest pack, TELEKINETIC TAKEOVER! The time of the Psychics is close at hand!

Aiku: 8D .... *speechless*

OCG (Original Card Grammar): As OCG goes, its near of perfection, but there's still some errors.

take XXX damage = inflict XXX damage to (insert the player targeted)

three = 3 (this goes to any other number)

opponent's side of the field = your opponent controls

Other errors aren't put.

Effect: It's the first time I see these types of effects for the swarm and Maedas. The overall card is very interresting and the effect is quite amusing to play. Therefore, I like them.

Image and Name: The names are original, kinda like Earthbound style for the Swarm monsters. However, some images have there signature on it and some have special light effects on their corners. The names and images link well with the effects of most the cards.

Overall: 9.1/10
