Rosetta Stone

No.

Go get a real teacher to teach you. Someone who is the ethnicity of the language you want to speak. Trust me, it'll be better for you because if you get Rosetta Stone, it's hard to make yourself keep using it. But if you get a teacher, you can't get out of the lesson. Also, a computer shouldn't teach you a lesson, someone from that region should.

I learned Japanese with Rosetta Stone and it pissed me off; got a teacher, and now I'm good to go.

Heh. I was actually thinking about getting Rosetta Stone to help me with teh 日本人 too, earlier. But eh.

My only problem with formal teaching is that... they teach you to learn so you can do. Which is pretty backwards when compared to the best way to learn. IMO.

I highly doubt it works. If you want to learn a new language' date=' you might as well pay to take a [b']class.[/b]

Unless you are a complete moronic retard. Because Rosetta Stone works for those people.

Worst way to learn a language. Ever.

Not a class, class. Like, a one-on-one tutoring session, for lack of a better term.

The best way of learning a new language is watching HBO in that language. That's how I learned english. Then you can join a yu gi oh forum in that language to practice what you have learned.
