Megido (FIRE remove from play archetype)

It's an all FIRE Archetype that relies on having "Megido" monsters being removed from play to activate their effects or as a condition to Summon them, so I can bet It works especially well with Dimensional Fissure, Macro Cosmos and Dimensional Alchemist. All the cards are removed from play instead of being sent to the graveyard. Enjoy and leave comments.

 

Megido - Burning Soul

Pyro/Effect

Atk) 100 Def) 100

You can pay 500 Life Points to discard this card from your hand and draw 1 card.

If this card would be sent to the Graveyard, it is removed from play instead.

 

Megido - Solar Hero

4 Stars

Pyro/Effect

Atk) 1300 Def) 1000

This card gains effects based on the number of "Megido" monsters that are removed from play.

1-4: This card gains 200 ATK for every removed from play "Megido" monster (Max 4).

5: This card cannot be destroyed by card effects.

6 or more: Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 card your opponent controls.

If this card would be sent to the Graveyard, it is removed from play instead. If you activate

this effect, this card cannot declare an attack this turn.

 

Megido - Flare Knight

While you have 1 or more removed from play "Megido" monsters, when a "Megido" monster you

control battles a monster, you can pay 500 Life Points to increase it's ATK by 500 points until

the End Phase. If this card would be sent to the Graveyard, it is removed from play instead.

 

Megido - Legendary Flame Master

While you have 1 or more removed from play "Megido" monsters, when a "Megido" monster you control

destroys a monster by battle, the destroyed monster is removed from play instead. If this card would

be sent to the Graveyard, it is removed from play instead.

 

Megido - Fiery Mistress

Spellcaster/Tuner

Atk) 500 Def) 500

While you have 1 or more removed from play "Megido" monsters, you can Special Summon this card

from your hand. Once per turn, you can reduce the ATK and DEF of 1 face-up monster your opponent

controls by 500 points. If this card would be sent to the Graveyard, it is removed from play instead.

 

Megido - Inferno General

Warrior/Effect

Atk) 2300 Def) 1400

While you have 2 or more removed from play "Megido" monsters, you can Normal Summon this card

without tribute. Once per turn, you can send 1 card on the field to the graveyard. If you activate this effect, this

card cannot attack this turn. If this card would be sent to the Graveyard, it is removed from play instead.

 

Megido - Dragon of Hell

Dragon/Effect

Atk) 2800 Def) 2000

This card cannot be Normal Summoned or set. This card can only be Special Summoned by having

at least 6 or more removed from play "Megido" monsters. When this card is Summoned, remove from

play all other cards on the field. Inflict 300 points of damage to your opponent for each card that

was removed from play by this effect. If this card would be sent to the Graveyard, it is removed from play instead.

 

Megido - Explosive Ruler

Pyro/Synchro/Effect

Atk) 2000 Def) 1800

1 "Megido" Tuner + 1 or more Non-Tuner FIRE monsters

This card gains 100 ATK for every "Megido" monster removed from play. When this card

destroys a monster by battle, gain Life Points equal to the destroyed monster's defense points.

 

Burning Revival

Spell Card (Normal)

Add 1 of your removed from play FIRE monsters to your hand.

 

Descent to Hell

Spell Card (Normal)

Pay 1000 Life Points. Select 1 FIRE monster from your Deck and

send it to the Graveyard. Send 1 card on the field to the graveyard.

 

Megido Firewall

Trap Card (Normal)

"Megido" monsters cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects until the End Phase.

 

Darkfire Storm

Trap Card (Normal)

Remove from play 1 "Megido" monster you control.

Destroy 2 cards on the field.

I would suggest you re-word the effect of Solor Hero to say something like: "This card's effect changes depending on the # of [blah] that is Removed from play"

Since the way it is now, if you have 6 Removed from play, you would have a 2200ATK monster that can Remove something from play, once per turn, and can still attack.

 

IMO, it seems a little over-powered.

I checked harpie's pet baby dragon for the wording, so I think it's number instead of #. About the card effect, I guess it can be overpowered, i just thought it would take a while to get 6 there and it would be bad as an opening hand since it's not that strong. I'll make it so it can't attack if it uses that effect.
