Dark
Discuss how when something is banned or restricted, it makes people want to do it more. I asked my gym teacher when the last time he had alcohol was. He bluntly said, "21." After he was allowed to drink, he didn't feel the need. Muluck
I love the double irony in this thread, your title talks about religion but your topic is about doing something that is restricted yet you made a misleading title. Double the fun, double the trouble. Breaking rules makes people feel the rush of self-empowerment, of independency, of making your own decisions and sticking with them. That is until you get punished and then swear to never do it again, all leading back to why you really broke the rules in the first place, because you felt so desperately insignificant. My point being, is when force is put against the ability to do something there will always be equal or greater force placed upon the action of doing that ability. -Berserker-
This is the logic that was used to make people eat potatoes. The king made all the people receive potatoes and wanted them to eat, but people didn't want it at the beginning. Then the king said that eating potatoes was forbidden and he kept all the potatoes in royal gardens. People starting entering the gardens at night to steal potatoes. Muluck
Breaking rules makes people feel the rush of self-empowerment' date=' of independency, of making your own decisions and sticking with them.[/quote'] A rather cynical viewpoint. You see there're often other benefits associated with breaking any form of barrier than simply power. Every action is subjected to a certain amount of consideration of the risks-to-benefits ratio of said action, judgement. That is until you get punished and then swear to never do it again Now now' date=' that obviously wouldn't be the only possible outcome. Things are often done to progress towards accomplishment of something greater.[/quote'] Yes I agree with your point, I was refining my reply to a more subject tone of voice -figuratively speaking of course-. Muluck
Most spam because they can't. Then again' date=' most DON'T spam because they CAN.[/b'] Yes, because that is called Trolling. Therefore doing that would make the act no longer Spamming, but Trolling.
