Meh, I don't mind them at all. Heck, I made 3 custom types of my own:

Shinigami (Basically a diety of death - and it has been floating around long enough)

Immortal (this was actually a type in Yu-Gi-Oh; Duelists of the Roses)

Elemental (used in Magic The Gathering - since some monsters don't fit a single type)

I don't mark down for a unrealistic type or subtype. The people are being creative, so I won't bust them for it.

Immortal (this was actually a type in Yu-Gi-Oh; Duelists of the Roses) Divine-Beast or Angel

Elemental (used in Magic The Gathering - since some monsters don't fit a single type) Aqua' date=' Pyro, Rock, Thunder[/b']

Not so original.

Didn't say they were original. They work, though. (That and I needed more types for a special project - and these worked just fine. ANd just for fun...

Shinigami - The captains of the Gotei 13 aren't Fiends

Immortal - This was a type in a video game. Just curious, but did you play Duelists of the Roses?

Elemental - Meh.

In MTG, it sounds okay.

In YGO, it sounds 6@Y.

Bleach is a horrible example of Shinigami.

Yes I have, actually.

Bleach was just an example of diversity. No harm intended. I actually haven't made any cards on YCM with the Shinigami type. (It's only on the special project)

Remember when Slate Warrior was classified as an Immortal type? Didn't you love ticking people off with the fact that it could walk on Crush terrain and make it when it died? (Too bad there weren't that many Immortal-Type monsters in the game, though)

Shinigami (Fiend. No need for a fake type)

Immortal (I don't know, depends on the card)

Elemental (Fairy or Spellcaster)

There are plenty of types out there, Fake Types are stupid. There is some creativity going for 2% of them, but to my knowledge if you want to be "Creative" make an Archetype. it's much more accepted in Realistic. If a card has a Fake Type then it is in no way realistic, so why would it go in Realistic Cards. Open your eyes people.

Fake-Types are not realistic, and that is the end of the matter.

I guess Evry one Is too outa whack to make a careful coment.

Listen most of the arguhments Comeing from you guys is that Fake types suck becaous Idiots put ninja or other crap in thier Types, This is understandable but when we goahead and try and talk about our club people dont care becaous you say it was a spam whole, witch it was spammy but not as bad as most people say.

Another thing Alfred Has no validity to any thing he says he only said sheet becaous Chase(A.K.A Zero) Called him on spam and he wanted revenge by calling Flame and arughing we were a spam whole when we were recently attacked by a (Second accounter) guy that after we alowed him to join spammed like crazy.

What most people dont understand about our club is that were not only after respect for fake types, We are also dedicated to Eradicateing The noobs that use Fake types lightly and do crap like put Ninja as the Title.

OoC: Wow Icy never seen you get on this subject before.

Again Everyone agrees that Fake Types don't belong in Realistic. But there are other sections besides Realistic. In AoC Fake Types are treated horribly because people are to set in their ways. If people would rate based on the quality of the card and not Type, then this entire fourm would be better. Or at least freindlier.

I didn't use Slate Warrior in particular. (I was a big Barrel Dragon fan back then.)

Though, back on topic.

Fake Types aren't creative unless they cover a type not covered by other cards, i.e. Inventor.

Warrior, Spellcaster or Psychic might be able to cover that one.

Great now My Inventors are going to be used in every arguement of this type now. I guess thats my contribution to the Fourm.

@SaturnPaladin

Inventors use Science not Spellcasters. They don't fight, they build Machines to do that for them. Again how is an Inventor a Psychic? No ESP what so ever, its all skill with tools.

Answer...

OR this covers your Inventor category I guess...

Spellcaster = Spellcasters read books and tomes. Usually, we had to put Scholars under this class. Also, not all the Gravekeepers look like Spellcasters to me. (Spear Soldier and such)

Warrior = Inventors can ALSO buld cybernetic enhancements and do the fighting themselves. (Look at Iron Man)

Psychic = Meh, you got me there.

(Not actively trying to diss the Inventor-Type. It's actually sounds quite interesting. Don't get me wrong)

Inventors are the ones who are handy and skilled with tools. Yes they can build Cybernetic enhancements, but wouldn't that be an Equip Spell? Also if they did do that then yes I would reclassify them as either Warrior or Machine. These are your basic, build it, fix it, Inventors.

@Narasa

Key word there is "Magical", Inventors don't use Magic. Its all Science.

One can always use tools to fight in a pinch. Heck, that's what farmers did back in the ancient days. (Sais were actually used to poke holes in the ground for seeds - now they're weapons).

I won't drag this on any longer. Your type seems pretty well thought out - and I can respect that. I'd do it differently, but that's just me. Keep up the good work, dude. (Watch - Konami scopes out the site, sees your new type, and uses it) 8)

If so, this would result

1. OMFG, Konami is using my Type!

2. Wait.... shouldn't I get credit for it?

3. *calls Konami*

(this is where it branches)

4a. Awesome, Konami is going to pay for helping them come up with a new type.

4b. *sues Konami for rights to Inventor-Type.

I do dislike Fake types' date=' but Fake Subtypes I'm okay with.

And concerning double types, things like Dragon-Warrior and stuff looks retarded, instead put Dragon / Warrior, or say in the effect that the card is both Dragon and Warrior.

See this is the type of comet people should post.

Hes expressing his opinion but not going nuts over it! Freaking Beautiful.
