Sploda
Of course everyone is entitiled to their Opinion. Its just that sometimes people argue over their opinions. Me I just want to make sure people understand that Fake Types are alright, when used correctly.
DL
Chibi is a good type. What about a spy type?or hermit type?Don't say spellcaster, for the love of all that is holy. I hate that everything is attempted to be put under spellcaster or warrior. Too generic. Yes, chibis are warriors, spellcaster, and such from animes, but what if I had a spell card that can support their type as a whole? I guess I can make the subtype chibi, which I do anywayz. But hermits and spies don't fit into any predetermined type.

Divine Soul
well i can support fakes for people who like making their own creatures and effects etc. but i dont like how some people make a similar yugioh creatures (example: red eyes black dragon) and overpower them or make them divine. DL
Spiess aren't teianed to fight. If they get caught, which rarely happens, cause they're proffesionals, they suicide. Nor are they trained to fight. Also, hermits that have lived in nature their whole lives and fight not with swords, but with wits and knowledge of their sorroundings. I guess I'll commit suicide now." No, they usually stock a pistol or two.
DL
Depends on the spy. James bond, now he was a warrior. I'm talking about spies that don't get caught. When they do, if they're proffesionals, they suicide before info can be taekn. Actually, they're more likely to jump off buildings so no info can be obtained by an autopsy. Oh, BTW, spies work in sigles. So a spy angainst a few armed med is highly againts the spies favor. If I was a spy, I'd suicide to keep information from them. Aesirson
Anymore questions? When you come up with a Fake Type, there is almost allways aReal type that can fit in with it.
DL
He's actually holding a gun, with intent to kill... BTW, what about hermit? or chibis? Just chibis. No fancy nothing, pure seduction through cuteness.
fenrir
He's actually holding a gun' date=' with intent to kill...[/quote'] Yes, because that's what Spies do. Swiftly kill to avoid getting caught, if it arises. Spies are trained for stuff like this. Besides, if a Spy can get back to his own country without getting killed, he wins. Spies would only commit suicide if they had something someone wanted.

Mazerrick
Simple, Why would you make something fake when your supposed to make it as real as possibleI don't mind fake subtypesBut I hate fake types and when people do thisPyro/Warrior/EffectTicks meh off. DL
... Why would an actual spy SEEK to kill? Think about that and rationalize it...Spies try to NOT get caught. I'm pretty sure a dead guy would draw attention... So, still nothin on hermits or chibis?
Sploda
@CosmicNot everything is meant to be as Realistic as possible. Thats why we have the AoC seperate from the Realistic section. Thats why.
KurashiDragon
I do dislike Fake types' date=' but Fake Subtypes I'm okay with. And concerning double types, things like Dragon-Warrior and stuff looks retarded, instead put Dragon / Warrior, or say in the effect that the card is both Dragon and Warrior.[/quote'] ..... why do I have to get into this now. Here I thought I was just gonna laugh at the stupidity of people for doing stuff like this. Ugh..... I guess when its personal you tend to get into it a little more. Dragon Warrior doesn't refer to either type. It instead refers to a combination of the type (I.E Hybrid)
DL
Pyro/Warrior looks beter and is simpler than adding "this card is also treated as warrior" to the effect, just saying.

I'm pretty sure a dead guy would draw attention... So' date=' still nothin on hermits or chibis?[/quote'] I never said he SEEKS to kill. I said that a Spy will kill to not get caught. i.e. Spy obtains important information, on way out guard stands at exit. Spy kills guard, gets away. It depends on the Hermit. In your definition, it would fit Spellcaster.
DL
... how does someone that uses wits (not spells) and knowlege of the natural word (not spells) be a SPELLcaster?
fenrir
... how does someone that uses wits (not spells) and knowlege of the natural word (not spells) be a SPELLcaster? Spellcaster is a vague title, but it's generally kept to monsters/creatures/people that possess mass amounts of knowledge, that gives them a 'wizard' feel. Hell, there are cards under Spellcaster that don't use spells. You're taking Type names too literally. They're supposed to be vague. >_>
