Obama Legalizing Weed?

Recommended Posts

"One of the most controversial topics for teenagers' date=' parents, and the goverment is: Should cannabis be legalized? President Obama has expressed that the war on drugs has been a failure and now supporters of drug legalization nationwide are speaking out on the war for weed.

"The topic is reaching epic proportions; on Obama's website, he took a poll for the most popular questions the public wanted answered. Out of 3.5 million voters, marijuana legalization was the number one issue voted to be discussed. Obama addressed this in a council meeting, but does not believe full legalization will fix the economy, though he has made growth in decriminalizing dispensaries and users.

"Mid October, the Obama administration announced that vendors of medical cannabis will not be persecuted, despite the fact these acts violate Federal law. Obama says it should be up to the states to to decide these issues, and currently, 13 have voted medical use legal."[/quote']

There is a lot more to this article, so tell me if you would like me to post the rest of it.

If you do, pop a couple of cyanide capsules first.

Weed is just weed. Cigarettes have all kinds of crazy stuff that will kill you. :/

At least Cigarettes have filters, unlike weed rolls.

Filter's don't help too much =/

Hey, it's better than having no filters, right?

Meh, I guess. But, like it has been mentioned, cigarettes have so much more crap in them that are...not good.

And addictiveness. My mom for instance. She smoked. She got pregnant. She stopped smoking. She uses the excuse of "im stressed" to smoke a cigarette. It keeps getting worse and worse.

No drugs for me.

Doesn't justify what it does to you. And what it does to you can be fixed in safer more coherent measures that isn't something you can become dependent on, on a chemical level.

Smokers, choose to die the moment they start. Let whats coming to them happen, and watch their blood spill, as it will be a lesson. If you value your life, don't smoke.

If it's comercialization is as legal as cigarettes' date=' then they will add filters to it.

So sure about that? Well, yea, probably.

Weed isn't addictive and doesn't kill you nearly as fast as cigarettes will.

This is true.

This is true as well. I agree with Icy though so he won't kill me. Cigarettes are highly addictive and most of those who start will not stop. My mother started, but luckily she had stopped when she go pregnant. And now all this "stress" is her excuse to smoke some more. And it appears as the more she smokes now, the more she smokes later.
