[spoiler=Plot] The year is 3009. The human race made many technology and used it in space. They made huge mecha suits to do important tasks. People volunteered to help with the process and went to space. They made a base where everyone can live on. A few months later, an alien race, Othello, came and began attacking them. The scientists knew what they had to do and made combat mechas for the people to battle against them.

2043 - Global supply of fossil fuels officially runs out. United Nations dissolves. World War III, lated dubbed "1st Resource War" begins.

1st Resource War (2043-2045) Earth's geopolitical systeam reorganizes itself into 36 new nation-states and 6 autonomous zones.

2nd Resource War (2052-2059) Nuclear weapons are used on the autonomous zones. Australia, Amazon Plains, Sahara, Middle East nuked.

3rd Resource War (2078-2081) China becomes the Global People's Republic. China controls most of Asia, Russia.

4th Resource War (2103-2106) Terran Alliance is formed out of several nation-states in response to several GPR incursions.

5th Resource War (2137-2142) More countries join the Terran Alliance in the African and European theaters.

6th Resource War (2160-2166) Lunar colonies, previously neutral, join the Terran Alliance after the Lunar campaign.

7th Resource War (2210-2214) Terran Alliance defeats Global People's Republic and becomes the planet's defacto nation. Earth changed to "Terra".

2217 - Gaia Project is created, using nanobots to devour nuclear radiation and rebuilding the Terran ecosystem. Gaia Project becomes the ancestor of modern terraforming techniques.

2236 - First Manned Spaceflight in almost two centuries launched.

2259 - Experiments with Hyperspace Accelerators begin.

2301 - First Plutowalk. Man has now conquered the entire Solar System.

2365 - Terraforming of Luna completed.

2478 - Terraforming of Pluto completed. System population reaches 25 billion.

2516 - Colonies are built up until the system population reaches 30 Billion. Terra starts to become a city planet of over 10 Billion.

2534 - A revision is made in the Hyperspace Accelerator plans that makes the entire idea practical. Interstellar colonization is seen as the next step.

2536 - Construction begins on the Hyperspace Accelerator around Pluto.

2563 - Colonization efforts for other Trans-Neptunian Planets begins.

2590 - Eris, Makemake, Haumea, Sedna, and Orcus are all terraformed and colonized. System population reaches 40 Billion.

 

 

[spoiler=[u]THE GREAT EXPERIMENT[/u]]

2594 - Sol Hyperspace Accelerator completed around Pluto.

2611 - The Enterprise, a colony ship holding 75,000, reaches orbit around Proxima Centauri I, dubbed "First" by colonists, after a 5month-long voyage, including 4 months in hyperspace.

2612 - First contact with the Mriaou, a native, cat-like sentient species on Proxima Centauri II.

2636 - Proxima Centauri II, now renamed "Mrreee", the Mriaou word for their world, has an established human colony of about 10,000. First has a colony of over 50,000. Colonies are being considered on Proxima Centauri III, "Xanadu", and the moons of Alpha Centauri II, a large gas giant called "Chronos".

2649 - Alpha Centauri Hyperspace Accelerator completed around Proxima Centauri IV, dubbed "Babylon".

2655 - The Defiant emerges from hyperspace a few million miles from Terra on a hyperspace jump from Alpha Centauri. Hyperspace Accelerator technology is a complete success.

2666 - After several brief skirmishes with space pirates, the Terran Defense Forces are created as a peacekeeping force.

 

 

[spoiler=[u]THE EXPANSION AGE[/u]]

2687 - The Canaan Project begins, a project using state-of-the-art telescopes to find planets on other solar systems.

2713 - The Canaan Project comes to an end, finding that every star has at least 1 terrestrial planet for terraforming and colonization.

2726 - First Wave: Colony ships leave for Alpha Centauri, Bernard's Star, Wolf 359, and Lalande 21185.

2733 - Second Wave: Colony ships leave for Sirius, Lyuten 726-8, Ross 154, Ross 248, and Epsilon Eridani.

2741 - Third Wave: Colony ships leave for Lacaille 9352, Ross 128, EZ Aquarii, Procyon, and 61 Cygni.

2752 - Fourth Wave: Colony ships leave for Struve 2398, Groombridge 34, and Epsilon Indi.

2765 - Fifth Wave: Colony ships leave for DX Cancri and Tau Ceti. Colonization efforts put on temporary hold due to too many immigrants.

 

 

[spoiler=[u]THE ZEKORTA WARS[/u]]

2766 - The Zekorta, a war-like, sentient species, fires upon the colony ship Magellan with thermonuclear warheads as it tries to establish contact with the planet.

2769 - Primitive Zekorta spaceships fire upon the colony world of "Aurora", formerly Tau Ceti IV, destroying most of the colonies and enslaving the survivors.

2778 - The colony on DX Cancri I, "Jem", is attacked by Zekorta ships that used a prototype Hyperspace Accelerator. The Terran Alliance receives a massenger ship from Jem, informing them of a hostile alien species. The Terran Alliance goes to war with this menace, and begins reconstruction of the Terran Defense Forces, now dubbed "Defenders". Mechs are introduced.

2780 - The colonies of Epsilon Indi III and IV, "Andoria" and "Harvest", respectively, are attacked by Zekorta. The Epsilon Indi campaign begins.

2786 - After a long, protracted ground war, Andoria and Harvest are liberated from the Zekorta by Defender ships, soldiers, and mechs.

2787 - Groombridge 34 and Struve 2398 are attacked. "Edwards". Groombridge 34 I, and "Fang Long", Struve 2398 II, are attacked, and their campaigns begin.

2791 - 61 Cygni is attacked. "Swann's World" is defended by the new Defender Navy.

2794 - Procyon is attacked, and successfully defended. Any other incursion fleets past this point in time are intercepted and destroyed.

2795 - Groombridge 34 is liberated.

2796 - Struve 2398 is liberated.

2799 - Terran Alliance scientists discover that the Zekorta have been using a reverse-engineered Hyperspace Accelerator. The TDF assembles a fleet to take the war to the Zekorta.

2802 - The Tau Ceti campaign begins. The First Invasion Fleet runs into a large incursion fleet near Aurora. The Aurora Hyperspace Accelerator is captured by the Second Invasion Fleet.

2807 - Aurora is liberated. The Terran Alliance compenplates what to do with the Zekorta.

2809 - Zekorta Prime is invaded.

2816 - 50 years after the beginning of the war, Zekorta Prime is captured.

2818 - A Zekortan invasion fleet drops out of hyperspace near Zekorta Prime. The Terran Alliance discovers that the Zekorta built colonies in other systems.

2820 - GJ 1061, YZ Ceti, and Luyten's Star are invaded.

2828 - The Zekorta Wars end 40 years after the official start of the conflict. The Zekorta are forced to assist in reconstruction efforts.

 

 

[spoiler=[u]RECONSTRUCTION[/u]]

2831 - Zekorta rebels attack the Zekorta Central Spaceport. A long occupation campaign begins.

2835 - The former Zekorta colonies around GJ 1062, YZ Ceti, and Luyten's Star are colonized.

2847 - A revision is made to the Hyperspace Accelerator technology, allowing ships to make the voyage across interstellar space in a week/light-year instead of a month/light-year.

2876 - Zekorta Prime is completely liberated. The Zekorta are allowed to have their own autonomous government on their homeworld.

2889 - Colony ships leave for Teegarden's Star and SCR 1845-6357.

2895 - Colony ships leave for Kapteyn's Star, Lacaille 8760, and Kruger 60.

2901 - Colony ships leave for DEN 1048-3956, Ross 614, Wolf 1061, and Van Maanen's Star.

2906 - Colony ships leave for Gliese 1, Wolf 424, TZ Arietis, GJ 687, and LHS 292.

2911 - Colony ships leave for GJ 674, GJ 1245, GJ 440, GJ 1002, Gliese 876, and LHS 288.

2918 - Colony ships leave for GJ 412, Groombridge 1618, GJ 388, GJ 832, LP 944-020, DEN 0255-4700, and GJ 682.

2940 - The Terran Alliance declares another hold on colonization.

2976 - Humanity's total population reaches 100 Billion.

3000 - The Terran Alliance and its two allied species celebrate the dawn of a new millenium.

 

 

[spoiler=[u]THE OTHELLO WAR[/u]]

3001 - Contact lost with the colonies on GJ 412, Groombridge 1618, GJ 388, GJ 832, LP 944-020, DEN 0255-4700, GJ 682, GJ 674, and GJ 1245.

2902 - Contact lost with the colonies on GJ 440, GJ 1002, Gliese 876, LHS 288, Gliese 1, Wolf 424, TZ Arietis, and GJ 687. Casualties reach 1 Billion.

2903 - Contact lost with the colonies on LHS 292, DEN 1048-3956, Ross 614, Wolf 1061, Van Maanen's Star, Kapteyn's Star, and Lacaille 8760. Kruger 60's colonies are defended.

2904 - Subspace communication is perfected and quickly installed. Space ships are able to communicate virtually instantaneously. Kruger 60's colonies are lost. Casualties reach 2 Billion.

3005 - Teegarden's Star and SCR 1845-6357 colonies are attacked and successfully defended.

3006 - Defender forces move in to garrison nearby systems. Recruitment is increased 400%. Reverse-engineed technology stolen from the aliens was used in upgrading the Hyperspace Accelerators, making in roughly a parsec a day.

3007 - Contact is finally made with the enemy. The invaders, calling themselves the "Othello", continue fighting, settling for no negotiations.

3008 - The Terran Alliance discovers that the Othello want relics scattered in ruins planted by the "Architects", a mystical super-species that visited planets with sentient life on it and left giant ruins. Such ruins were found in Antarctica centuries ago on Earth, on Mrreee, and on Zekorta Prime.

3009 - Gatewood, the only planet fit for terraforming and colonization around teegarden's Star, falls. The Defenders prepare for the inevitable invasion of Tau Ceti...

 

 

 

 

 

[spoiler=[u]SPECIES[/u]]

[spoiler=[u]Terrans[/u]]

Of course, everyone knows what Terrans (Homo sapiens sapiens) is!

 

 

[spoiler=[u]Enhanced Terrans[/u]]

Due to either mutation from the Resource Wars or genetic engineering for various reasons, Terrans often modify themselves into various forms. This can range from a bodysculpting to muscular enhancement to...anything really.

 

 

[spoiler=[u]Mriaou[/u]]

Natives to the jungles of Mrreee, the Mriaou are a curious species. They are a feline-like species (actually more genetically related to mongooses than lions) that has a very extreme form of sexual dimorphism. The female of the species is very human-looking, and can even look like a human from a distance, except for the cat-like eyes, the furred and clawed lower limbs, the tail, and the slight feline facial characteristics. The males are huge creatures that look like the cross between a lion, a tiger, a bear (oh my!), and a gorilla. The females are completely sentient, whereas the males aren't very intelligent and are primarily kept in the wild and used as "breeding stock". Both species can have fur and hair in any color or natural pattern, and some even use special plants that get pollinated when they cause hormonal reactions within the Mriaou, causing them to change colors and styles.

The Mriaou were a primitive species when they had first contact with humanity, and, centuries later, are now seen almost everywhere. They took first contact surprisingly well, and they are now almost fully assimilated into Terran culture. Interestingly, the Mriaou have a very similar biochemistry to Terrans, at least, enough so that there can be hybrids between the two species. Any hybrids created this way will always be female.

 

 

[spoiler=[u]Zekorta[/u]]

The Zekorta were once the most feared species to humans. Of course, that has been overtaken by the Othello, but the Zekorta are still quite scary. Nicknamed "Dinoids", "Raptors", and "Scalies", the Zekorta look like anthropomorphized velociraptors, with a feathery crest running down the back of their neck. The crest can inflate like a lizard's crest, and they primarily use it to express emotion, since they have no real facial muscles for doing this. They have no real physical, vocal, or mental characteristics to indicate gender, and for a society based on warriors, the fact that they have complete gender quality is somewhat surprising, until you find out that the Zekorta can actually change genders like some species of fish. Their scale colors can change depending on their preferences, though some Zekorta can use their scales like a chameleon's, blending into the environment. Their crest colors can also change, depending on their mood. They are carnivorous, as opposed to the omnivorous Terrans and Mriaou, and have sharp teeth, claws, and talons.

 

 

[spoiler=[u]M'ltt[/u]]

One of the numerous slave species that the Othello has under their control. They appear to be large cockraoch-like creatures with an insectoid head with 4 eyes and many mandibles, an upper abdomen with 4 arms, 2 larger arms with claws and 2 smaller arms with 4-fingered hands, a lower abdomen with 4 spider-like legs, and a segmented thorax. These creatures are asexual, and give birth about once a year, at which time the larva, a giant, human-sized white grub-like creature, is taken to a communal caretaking facility. After 2 Terran years, the larva undergoes a metamorphosis and cocoons itself for about another Terran year. Then, the adult emerges from the cocoon and lives to be about 20 in Terran timekeeping. They have a hyperindustrailized society that is just centuries below ours in technology, hyperphysics not even being delved into yet they have built up massive hive-cities that hold their population of over 3 trillion across the many moons their kind controls around the gas giant "Mk'b'th", or Sigma Draconis III, until they were enslaved by the Othello, whom they call the "Travelers".

 

 

[spoiler=[u]Zorgon[/u]]

The Zorgons are a humanoid reptilian based life form. It is a special race that never stops eating. They are meat eaters. They look for anything with the tiniest bit of warmth that they can burn up or destroy. They live in the Reptilia Galaxy. They have already destroyed their own planet as a start for the search of heat. They have left their galaxy and entered ours through a black hole. They will not stop until either they are destroyed completely, or when every bit of the galaxy is burned down to nothing.

 

 

[spoiler=[u]Othello[/u]]

The Othello are still unknown to us. They mainly use giant robots called "drones", or their slave species, in combat. In fact, very few people have seen an actual Othello. But the Othello are a species that used to be humanoid. They now look like giant human fetuses with some amphibian traits, completely dark eyes, white skin, and tubes coming out of their bodies. Usually, these creatures form the cores of their starships or their special mechs, but they rarely ever fight, normally staying in special tanks.

The Othello have a theokleptocracy, believing that they were gifted with the divine right to rule the universe and take whatever they want, like the Mongols mixed with the Crusaders. They were recently defeated against another alien empire, and the forces that are attacking us are the last of their kind, now limited to 17,000 of their species on 3,000 ships.

Therefore, when they came across the M'ltt, they quickly conquered them and turned them into soldiers and slave labor to help them rebuild their species.

They appear to be based on the far-off star of Zeta Reticuli, but have conquered most of the space around the Alliance. Currently, if the Alliance can't turn the war around, the Alliance will fall by 3015.

Bio: Tsuna was about 5 when he say his first gundam. It was the gundam gaia. That was his father's gundam and Tsuna's favorite. Tsuna's father worked hard to be a strong pilot and he made Tsuna a gundam. Tsuna's father got killed in battle when Tsuna was about 13, but the gundam his father made was finally done. Tsuna called it burning rain since it hurts whenever he thinks of his father which is burning, but rain since when he was with his father all his problems would fade away.

Bio: A women who 'likes it on the wild side'. She has a slight gamgling addiction, by which she omninously wins whenever she unintentionally leans downwards. She has combat training, so she can easily do over people who cheat or figure out that she's cheating. After trying to cheat out a casino owner, she was banned from almost every casino, but was picked up by the defence force. Essentially, she became a defender as it negated her casino ban. Her favourite card is the joker.

Othello

Name: T'krk Z'hn'l D'k'ra M'gog (Dubbed "Magog" by human forces.)

Age: 7

Gender: None (reproduces asexually)

Appearence: An eerie creature that looks like a cross between a cockroach-like centaur with several other insectoid species mixed in. It has an insectoid head with 4 "eyes", several sets of mandibles, 4 arms, 2 of them more precise, like human hands but with only 4 fingers, while the other pair are claw-like and primarily used for fighting, 4 legs, like a centaur, and an upper and lower body, including a thorax, all covered in a spiky, bronze shell.

Bio: Magog is not an Othello. The Othello, what Magog's people, called the "M'ltt", call the "Travelers", enslaved the M'ltt and forced their peaceful society to be their slaves.

The M'ltt originate from a gas giant-like planet called "Mk'b'th" around the star that we call Sigma Draconis, more specifically the moon of "Li'ir Prime". The M'ltt quickly colonized many other moons and terraformed them into being habitable to the nitrogen-breathing insectoids. Unfortunately, they hyperindustiralized into a civilization living in massive hive-cities, strip-mining their own planets for scarce resources, and overall living a very squalid life, their total population reaching 3 trillion, and they were still inside of their own star system, barely experimenting into hyperspace. Unfortunately, the M'ltt have very short lifespans, 20 being the cutting-off point for old age.

Then, the Othello came, and enslaved the M'ltt, allowing them to be bred into a race of slave labor and cannon fodder. Rarely do any M'ltt pilot Traveler combat exoskeletons, and they are still frowned upon.

Magog is an M'ltt savant, leading his people in actual victories over humanity, and claiming more planets for their masters. He quickly rose up through the ranks, and the 7-year-old "Roach", as humans have dubbed the M'ltt, is now a name feared among human mech pilots.

General Magog has served in various campaigns, coordinating his soldiers into effectively wiping out the enemy, even reading forbidden human literature to figure out what these strange, small, fleshy meatbags want.

But Magog also cares about his people, and might be willing to work for humanity if they can liberate the M'ltt.

Mecha Robot Name: Z'kra Sh'mlt P'wf'br M'gog T'kri M'ltt (Roughly translates to "Combat Exoskeleton of the Great and Mighty Magog, Hero of Our People")

Bio: An orphan that, for some reason, knew instantly how to pilot a mecha robot. Is a technological genius and has updated his mecha robot to a top notch destroying machine. He was adopted and raised by a very rich family who taght him every thing and sparked his interest in mechanics. He mostly learns by trial and error but has natural talent.

Bio:Silo grew up in northern europe somewhere, until the age of 13 when her parents sold the family home, an extravagent castle. They moved to a secluded home on the canadian side of Niagra falls, where she spent the next two years of her life, until her father died in a boating accident on the falls. Then, her and her mother moved to Newyork where she currently lives. Silo's father was an experienced Mecha pilot and she too loved piloting Mecha. Defending the planet was somthing she actually embraced the idea of doing, not for pride, or respect, or honour, but simply because she loves piloting Mecha.
