Dark Mousy
I live in Iceland. It's like - 30 here, besides the point. If you took the total debt of the country, divide it by the population. The figure comes out to 5-6 hundred thousand US. Only problem, is when you convert it into Icelandic Krona, the figure is somewhere around 32-40 million. So yeah, we're screwed.

Dark Mousy
It's not the government. It's the fact that the government wasn't there that is bad. There weren't enough regulations to stop Icelandic Banks from borrowing too much money. After the recession, you can guess what happens.
