I feel this is an appropriate time to suggest we have a new Deck Mod.

 

I nominate Akira.

 

I feel like YCM should discuss this.

 

Also, everyone needs to take a chill pill, relax, and just let things roll.

The one thing we all agree is that we need a couple of new Mods or promote a Mod to Super Mod

We have, many times in fact. Both personally and professionally. But Pudding does his job and he links me when there's a baaad thread.

That's a big "if" my friend. If this continues at this rate.. YCM won't last another 2 to 3 years maybe less.

 

And Josh, Hunter has a point. Though you may overreact, except for a few you are like the only mod who does his job... if you just set aside your emotions.

If YCMaker paid attention as much as he should I'm sure a few mods would be demoted and some better more capable mods would be made their fore bettering the community

Josh. You need to lighten up a little mate. 1 Week ban for ONE Topic? Take a leaf from my book mate and leave Bannings to the major offenses. You should take a break to rethink how you feel as a YCM member. However harsh you may be I still love ya as a member. Consider my advice mate.

I mean no disrespect but EVERYONE makes mistakes. when you were a newer member you probally made mistakes. heck when I 1st joined I didn't even know what necrobumping was. so don't go claw and fang at pudding and j-max. besides what Napoleon says is true. if you think this is a disaster how will it be if you left? even more then we would need 3 new super mods.

I have to agree with this. You do give somewhat of order here (though not really much, but enough to be noticeable). Without it, it would be like sending sheep to the lion's den. Most of us wouldn't want that to happen.

No, but Josh is the only really active super moderator, meaning that most members during the day see him on and see him moderate.

But at the same time, I say that you have a tendency to overreact. You are trying to leave, good for you, but if that's true, then leave, and don't complain when you are unhappy with the state of the site. You can't try to leave, and then be angry at the people or circumstances who you say are forcing you to return, when you yourself make a conscious choice to come back. You can't have it both ways, bud, so either leave, and don't come back, don't post again, and don't complain, or stay, and do your job.

I kinda don't think so either, but usually its admins' fault for not reacting in time, rather than the moderators. Icy is doing the best he can at this, but without some support, there would be little impact.

The problem is that most of the mods have proven they can't handle it. Seriously, about an hour ago, there were over 100 unread reports. Over 100! Icy had to do them all because the mods of their respective forums couldn't be bothered to do them.
