Do you know what I like about YCM?

Nothing' date=' well me. Ok I'll prove that no mods care about anything except ego stroke posts or "revolution" ones because I have time to kill.

[/quote']

That's a great invisible proof you have there.

I know right.

I do have to wonder how making that proof actually killed any time at all.

Sorta off topic post.... I think you just need to take some time off.

[spoiler=AWESOME SONG LYRICS THAT CRAB HELMET LIKES]

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day

You fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way

Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town

Waiting for someone or something to show you the way

Tired of lying in the sunshine

Staying home to watch the rain

And you are young and life is long

And there is time to kill today

And then one day you find

Ten years have got behind you

No one told you when to run

You missed the starting gun

And you run, and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking

Racing around to come up behind you again

The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older

Shorter of breath and one day closer to death

Every year is getting shorter

Never seem to find the time

Plans that either come to nought

Or half a page of scribbled lines

Hanging on in quiet desparation is the English way

The time is gone

The song is over

Thought I'd something more to say

Home, home again

I like to be here when I can

When I come home cold and tired

It's good to warm my bones beside the fire

Far away across the field

The tolling of the iron bell

Calls the faithful to their knees

To hear the softly spoken magic spells

Two things:

I'm sorry, but if you're going to go, just go. No offense, but you really don't need to keep saying that... Either you're leaving or you're staying: That alone has a few people frustrated/confused. You really do overeact sometimes.

Second, l agree: When l heard everything that happened after casually browsing the general section l was shocked. l thought to myself, "Is it that hard for members to just stop...?"

So what is this about really?

On one hand you have a vent complaining about how things "got out of hand" and on the other you have the admittance of a Super Moderator wanting to leave. Here's what I think:

1) Starting this "vent" is just adding fuel to the fire of this "out of hand" context we have suddenly out of no where. You open a thread calling only two viable responses from it, one for and one against. These sides are quite clear as to where they stand. They either love you, or they hate you and it is this position which allows things to truly "get out of hand".

2) You don't really want to leave, you just want a reason to stay.

Complaining is for people who are to lazy to do something, or lack the power to do it. Being a Super Moderator the former fits. You can do the job, and do it willingly or you can not do the job and therefore give up your right to complain. Bottom line is, it is clear that most people are having trouble differentiating the fact that they have a Real Life from an Internet Life, and therefore get caught in a vortex of false pretenses. Meaning that your taking less time from your Real Life and wasting it on your Internet Life.

Leave, find that balance because an unbalanced life style can easily spread to others.

That and the fact that is something done for fun, no real position or power to it.

Note: My statement is not directed solely to this Original Poster, it ventures more towards the whole group in context.

For the most part yes, not this part:
