[ZOMGWEHAVECOMPETITION] - [Remake] - It's a matter of tactics.

Well...

It's a remake. These will be based on real battles, where real generals came up with ingenious solutions, it's kind of an improvement on The Creator's thread.

We will start with a relatively easy case.

Note: Please don't google the battles. Really, they are relatively famous, and can be found relatively easily.

Prizes: 1 Points for the whole battle. You can earn part marks (points of varying amounts) if you get individual parts correctly.

Concord and Lexington, 1775.

You are the head of a militia (Capt. John Parker) of approximately 3,800 poorly trained men. Against an elite British Army of 1,500. Armed with rifles.

The land is fairly flat, and there are a lot of rivers. Alongside the rivers, there are relatively small towns, and beside them there is a fairly large forest. It is known the British Army likes to march in ranks.

You have relatively little time, ~ 10 hours, give or take, no time for fortifications. Your men are poorly trained, and almost incapable of conducting any sort of sniper attack. How to avoid the loss of territory, and keep casualties to a minimum?

First one to get it right: Le Createur.

Concord and Lexington, 1775, Part 2.

Well. The American army tried to use guerrilla tactics.

Like so:

Simple have your men take out the enemy on the march. They hide in the forest for protection and shoot when they have an openning. Hiding in the river bed will help as well' date=' but if the British make it to town we will have to stand there.

[/quote']

The British Army, supposedly headed for Lexington, makes a turn, into the forest for Concord. They yell "Huzzah!", given the density of the forest, it's almost impossible to see them wearing their symbolic red coats. Your army is clearly confused. You don't want to lose Concord, what to do now?

Lexington and Concord 1775, Part 3

It's the shot heard around the world. Remember' date=' the British Army is unwilling to fire. As that would spark an open revolt. Of course now, 250 years happened after the fact, the British dispute this.

Lexington and Concord Part 3:

Unwilling to fire, the British Army retreats, a bad tactical move. The retreating British Army joins forces with the regiment from Lexington on the other side of the river by crossing a bridge. Should they hold or take the bridge?

[/quote']

These are actually fairly easy. Comon!

So easy, just go to the army. Declare you surrender and give them the bud light. Seriously its the best way possible to win the fight. But then everyone would get angry at me because there would be no bud light.

Or you could send the army to a forest and then they could use there guns to shoot from there then use whatever they got to use a full strike.

Guest Chaos Pudding

Collapse the ground, then make fabulous gestures.

Oh, wait, I thought we were talking about Code Geass. :S

Anyway, guerrilla tactics for the win.

The british should take the bridge while the Americans should hold it. It is a stragetic position and whoever controls it has the advantage.

And you were disregarding what you typed. You said they turned into the forest then suddenly they are in town. I think you meant they turn into town.
