You should add:

OCG Fix:

Tribute 1 monster you control to activate this card. Special Summon 1 monster in your Graveyard except the Tributed monster in face-up Attack or Defense Position.

Because that's really how Monster Reborn/Reincarnation work. They both give you a chose of what position you want your monster re-summoned.

Oh yeah I forgot about the difference between field and hand concerning those 2 cards. Then you should keep it the way you had it with ATK position only that way it sets itself apart from Reborn yet similar too.

P.S. Can you let me know where you got the pic, I want to try to photoshop this pic.

This card would still be forbidden in advanced format.

no it wouldn't it would be limited to 1, if it were real.

reason: you have to tribute to play this card, and then special summon a monster from your graveyard, so it's basically like switching spots with the graveyard/field.

monster reborn is banned because you don't have to pay anything and can get a monster from either player's graveyard, that's why it's the best.

premature burial is banned because even though you pay 800 life points to get the monster, it's a spell card and you can play it on your turn, not being fair to your opponent and overrunning him with your ace or w/e useful.

call of the haunted is the third one i know that's limited, because it's a trap card, having to wait until your opponent's turn to activate it or your next turn. so waiting makes things slower, and easier for your opponent to counter.

that in mind, this card would be limited to one for the offering of a monster, knowing that each card (except monster reborn) has a cost.

this would be the limited version of Monster Reborn

OCG FIX:

Tribute 1 monster you control. Special Summon 1 monster from your Graveyard, except the Tributed monster.

simple but effective.

it's sort of balanced but easily abusable.

i.e. tribute sangan, treeborn or someother card that belongs in the grave and get a free SS.

8/10

*facepalm* *call of the haunted*

You n00bs Monster Reborn is forbidden so this is actually an awesome card.

9.5/10

Yes and i imagine this would be forbidden aswell

OK picture sounds too much like monster reborn

7/10

nah this wouldn't be forbidden, but limited to one at most. just like call of the haunted, it needs a drawback (CotH's drawback being a trap card, while this card's cost is tributing a monster to get a monster)

Monster Reborn is still better' date=' and maybe even Premature Burial as well

still, it's a nice card to have so I'll give this 9/10

Why compare this to two cards that are both broken and banned rightly? =/ It's almost like saying, "Well, Lightning Vortex is ok, but Raigeki and Dark Hole do a better job at it"

Anyways, a balanced Monster Reborn is nice =) I like this

Underpowered.

If it were any stronger, it'd be Monster Reborn. And we all know what happened to that, now don't we?
