Eury
I am completely for serious here guys. No tricks or anything. Pop-ups are appearing every 10 freaking seconds telling me my computer is in danger. I have to pay for the virus removing part, but I was able to scan it for free. It says I have 16 viruses on my computer and all of them are dangerous. I'm getting tired of all these freaking pop-ups, so can someone link me to a good, FREE anti-virus so I can kill these freaking virus'?
Saturn of Elemia
I believe that AVG is free and very effective.
Psycho Shocker Android
Get AVG and Spybot. Both of them should be enough to take care of your problem.
El Beasto Perezoso
AVG and Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware are the best free combo IMO.
Shrekstasy
Norton. xD
Charizard
Avg f**ked my computer. Get Norton, Mcaffe but those make your computer slow. So get something else. I use trend micro.
Eury
AVG is being extremely retarded right now. Imma just get rid of it. I downloaded that Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware thing so imma try that now. Is trend micro good and easy to use?
problematica
Avast works well for constant protection For a complete and total scan and removal, I'd say use ComboFix. It'll take a long time but it'll clear just about everything ever created, it should really only be used when there is a big problem that your current protection can't take care of. Yasu
Try Avira, I haven't used Avast tough.(AVG is bad.)

Willieh
I think Avira is probably your best bet as far as free goes.

Cin
You do know that free scan you did, is designed to make you buy the anti-virus they offer, so they say you have loads of viruses just to buy it. Since you've knocked AVG off (I've never had a problem with it, it got rid of the worm I had a few years ago when Norton rolled over and died). Ad-Aware is a pretty good spyware/malware/etc thing to just run once in a while
Xing
Norton. xD You funking know it =P
bury the year
So get something else. I use trend micro. That one's useless; it never picked up on anything, and it keeps nagging me to renew it when I let its subscription run out. Use Webroot.

Niño
Norton, but I know what's caused it. Never, ever type "Porn" into google search, it just fucks with your computer.

Guest Chaos Pudding
You do realize it was you clicking the popups and getting the scan that put the viruses in your computer in the first place, right?
Eury
Why was this bumped? I fixed this 3 days ago, thus me posting on the site for the past 3 days. You do realize it was you clicking the popups and getting the scan that put the viruses in your computer in the first place' date=' right?[/quote'] Yeah, I found that out. I did a PC Recovery and my dad installed Norton. You can lock this.
