Black D'Sceptyr
Sorry for all my regular viewers , but I've been busy for the past couple of months. Between my college applications, preparing for the holidays, and the creation of my newest booster pack, Hive of Hysteria (soon to come to this forum, by the way) I've have been nothing short of SWAMPED. But alas, that WILL NOT STOP ME from giving all of you the cards that you deserve to see! And since it's Christmas and I have time to kill, I'm gonna do just that. Consider it my present to the YCMF as a whole, considering I was going to release this Archetype at a MUCH later time. Oh, and the photos ain't mine, no matter how many Christmas trees I wish under for it to be as such. So I just settle with placing the author's name in the lower left edge underneath the picture. So sit back, relax and enjoy...the Clockwork/binder Archetypes! Clockwork-Reipyr, The End: During the Battle Phase of a turn where 2 or more "Clockwork" or "Clockbinder" monsters on your side of the field have been destroyed as a result of battle, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is Summoned this way, select 1 Phase (Draw Phase, Main Phase, or Battle Phase.) As long as this card remains face-up on the field, you can perform the selected Phase twice during your turn. When this card is destroyed, activate the following effect based on the Phase you selected with this card's effect: Draw Phase: Discard 1 card from your hand.Main Phase: You cannot Normal Summon during your next turn.Battle Phase: All other face-up monsters you control lose 700 ATK. Clockbinder-Rigas, The Life: This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned when your Life Points have been reduced to 1000 or less by a battle involving a "Clockbinder" monster on your side of the field. When this card is Summoned, you can Tribute this card to have both you and your opponent's Life Points become 8000. Niether player can activate the effect of a "Bad Reaction to Simochi" in response to this card's effect. Clockwork-Sonniare, The Love: When this card is in your hand and there are 3 or more "Clockwork" monsters in your Graveyard, you can remove 1 of them from play to send this card to the Graveyard. During your next Standby Phase after you activate this effect, Special Summon this card and declare a Phase (Standby Phase, Main Phase, Battle Phase, or End Phase.) No monsters can be Special Summoned during the selected Phase, except "Clockwork" monsters. Clockwork-Ceal, the Present: When this card is Normal Summoned, you can activate the following effect(s) for each "Clockwork-Ceal, The Present(s)" in your Graveyard. These effects cannot accumulate. () Draw 1 card. Then, discard 1 card. () Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower "Clockwork" or "Clockbinder" monster from your Graveyard. Its effect(s) are negated. () You can remove 2 cards in your opponent's Graveyard from play. Clockwork-Sadie, The Scythe: When this card is face-up on the field, one time only, you can pay 1000 Life Points. Both players can then Special Summon 1 Level 4 monster from their Decks in face-up Defense Position. They cannot change their battle Position. Clockbinder-Coicius, The Omniscent: 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Clockbinder" monstersThis card can only be Special Summoned by Synchro Summon. When this card is Synchro Summoned, place 8 Omnious Counters on it. Once during the end of your turn, you can remove 2 Omnious Counters to select 1 Phase. (Draw Phase, Main Phase, or Battle Phase.) Your opponent skips the Phase you selected during your next turn. When this card is destroyed, take 4000 damage. Decrease this damage by 500 for each Ominous Counter that was on this card when it was destroyed. Clockwork-Azalea, The Master Scythe: "Clockwork-Sadie, The Scythe" + 2 or more non-Tuner monstersWhen this card is Synchro Summoned, you can destroy all Level 5 or higher monsters on the field. When this card destroys a Defense Position monster as a result of battle, you can negate your opponent's first Special Summon during his/her next turn. Clockbinder-Rusor, The Omnipresent: 1 Tuner+ 2 or more non-Tuner monstersWhen this card has been sent to the Graveyard from the field, removed from play, or returned to the Extra Deck, you can remove 4 "Clockwork" or "Clockbinder monsters from your Graveyard to Special Summon this card to your side of the field during the End Phase. If you do, switch this card's ATK and DEF. Clockbinder-Orson the Omnipotent: 1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner "Clockbinder" monsters As long as this card remains face-up on the field, all face-down cards are flipped face-up, no cards can be Set, both players must play with their hands revealed, and all monsters must attack each turn if able. Clockwork-Ariphas, The Beginning: 1 Tuner + "Clockwork-Reipyr, The End"When this card is Synchro Summoned, you can discard 1 card to destroy all other cards on your side of the field and Special Summon as many "Clockwork" monsters as possible from your Graveyard (except "Clockwork-Reipyr, The End.") Their effect(s) are negated and they cannot be Tributed. If a monster Summoned by this card's effect battles a monster, destroy both monsters without applying damage calculation. And now for my true Christmas present to all of you, a classic...REMODELED! (And for anyone concerned about its Type being Ice, look at my booster pack Spectrum Opposites, where it began. Frosty, Caretaker of the Arctic: You can Special Summon this card by Tributing 1 "Snowman Eater." When this card is Summoned, remove all WATER monsters in your Graveyard from play and place 2 Snow Counters on this card for each card removed this way. When your opponent Special Summons a monster, you can remove Snow Counters from this card equal to the Summoned monster's Level to destroy it. As long as this card remains face-up on the field, Level 3 or lower Ice-Type monsters cannot be destroyed as a result of battle. Happy Holidays, good people! Leave reviews! D'Sceptyr, signing off! Jazin Kay
Secret rare letters on Synchro templates are often difficult to read.
ragnarok1945
there's like 2 overused pics (Ian and Sadie), all the other pics are great at first I thought you lost it with Haven's atk at 9000 (which is still hell once Skill Drain is active) the OCG looks great the way it is, I see nothing wrong with it then synchros are well OPed, suited for their effects, so I'll give this 9.6/
Leturn Master
regular viewers... lol... Your first card is overpowered, no doubt. The second one ain't very great... especially with those Summoning conditions. Overall, most of these guys are verbose (TOO much text. You can make good, yet simple cards. Trust me; it's possible), and the strategy for them isn't great; the good cards are the ones that DON'T have all to do with "Clockwork" and "Clockbinder" stuff. The cards I'd use are "Clockwork-Ceal", "Clockword-Sadie", and "Clockwork-Kharen". ...and of course all the good pictures come from Jazin Kay...
