Holo Help

I made this card holo i know its posted in the help section not the card section so dont say its wrong because i wanted to check if it is the proper way to make a holo which is asking for help not asking for a rating or anything please help i just wanted to know. What i did here was make a new layer in PS CS2 and put a thing that looked holo(i dont think it was a proper holo sheet) over the image then turned the strength down i just wanted to check if it was right heres the image: Please help Thanks.
