no and yes

yes:=timezones

no: youd have to make a space that is seprate from our own space time continuum and then copy the entire universal. then youd have to reverse the entire space time continuum that you are currently in and somehow keep track and monitor the selected date. then you'd have to refuse the section you removed (aka the time machine) then when you are done re-seperate the time machine. fast forward the time space, and destroy your entire universe as there are no two exacly identical universes co-existing with another.

"When two strong forces collide, it splits time-space wide open."

Quoted from the sexy guitar babe l-No. (She then proceeded to say some very nasty things and hurl insults at Sol until he tells her to shut up. Then they fight, she wins and kills his past-self, says some more dirty things and leaves him there to die. Which fails and he follows her into the future.)

Obviously yes.

No

cause if it could there will be people from the future here...

The people from the future are all not here possibly because 6.5 billion years later from now, they realize they have the right machines, but the sun then goes boom. Hopefully, we'd have evolved enough to escape.

If it were possible' date=' then you would be able to change the next second of your life if you wanted to, but you aren't so no.

how do you know that everyone on the earth at this point in time will still be alive when time machines are invented

evryone on the earth IS alive when time machines aren't invented because we are alive and time machines aren't invented yet, which leaves the fact that you are avoiding my question in order for me to not notice you are wrong, or are avoiding my question because you can't answer it.

Time Travel is possible isn't possible in the normal sense. As no matter what you're doing, you're moving forward in time. Even when in a space atoms themselves stop, as the space outside that area is moving forward in time, and therefore you are too. This fundamental law, means that Time can-not move backwards.

But, in theory it is possible that time can move backwards in another dimension. This means, that you'd have to travel back in time where what is happening then, is happening now. But, like all possibilities, and without a way to move to your dimension. You'd have to chance it by moving forward in this new dimension to see if what you did succeeded. But there comes the issue that when you have moved forward in time, you're born in this dimension/universe. Therefore you already exist.

So what do you do? Kill off the body of you, that may or may not have had different memories. Or live your life as another person?

And for the record, time travel is possible to go into the future. By merely stopping your atoms, so time does not move for "you".

YOu can always travel to the future. Returning is the problem...

True. very true. The faster you move, the faster you travel to the future, without aging. At 0.9 speed of light, 1 second for you would be 1000 seconds for everyone else. So of course travelling to the future is possible.

As for travelling to the past, it is just f*cking impossible. Leave it alone. Impossible technology is impossible.
