The Complete SSBB Project (408/??): Assist Trophies up!

Recommended Posts

This all started out as me just making a card for each character and their 4 special attacks. After I finally got all of it up, one member suggested the addition of bosses and stages. Trying to get my mind off the fact that school started soon, I did just this.

But I got all that added. However, I'm not content to let this just sit here. So this is no longer the SSBB Specials Set. This is now The Complete SSBB Set. This will include not only what I already have up, but other things that most other SSBB sets have like items and Final Smashes. However, few SSBB sets (in fact I think this is the only one) are of this magnitude and cover this broad a spectrum of Super Smash Brothers Brawl.

God knows how many cards will be in this set so I have no idea how long this project will be.

Brawler Charizard effect:To summon Brawler Charizard, the spell card "I Choose you, Charizard!" and one monster card must be sacrificed. In addition, Brawler Charizard may not be summoned if Brawler Ivysaur or Brawler Squirtle are already on the field.

Brawler Ivysaur effect:To summon Brawler Ivysaur, the spell card "I Choose you, Ivysaur!" must be sacrificed. This counts as a normal summon. In addition, Brawler Ivysaur cannot be summoned if Brawler Charizard or Brawler Squirtle are already on the field.

Brawler Lucario effect:For every 1000 Life points you lose from the original amount, Brawler Lucario gains 300 attack points. If you gain Life Points, Brawler Lucario's attack does not change from what it was before the Life Points were added.

Brawler Marth lore:The prince of Altea. While his father was away, an allied army betrayed the royal family, forcing Marth to flee his country. He returned with the blessed sword Falchion in hand, prepared to stop the dark dragon Medeus from destroying the planet.

Brawler Olimar effect:Brawler Olimar cannot be destroyed in battle as long as his Pikmin Cache is above 2. If it is 3 or more, remove one Pikmin from Brawler Olimar's Pikmin Cache to keep Brawler Olimar on the field. If it is 2 or less, Brawler Olimar is destroyed and for every Pikmin in the Cache, you lose 300 Life Points.

Brawler Squirtle effect:To summon Brawler Squirtle, the spell card "I Choose you, Squirtle!" must be sacrificed. This counts as a normal summon. In addition, Brawler Squirtle cannot be summoned if Brawler Charizard or Brawler Ivysaur are already on the field.

Hothead Effect: This card may only be activated when a monster with Brawler in it's name is on the field. In any open monster slot, place a Hothead token (0 ATK/0 DEF/1 Star). All attacks are redirected to the Hothead tokens. Whenever a Hothead token is destroyed, any remaining Hothead tokens gain 1 star. These tokens may be used for Tribute Summons, and monsters may take the place of a Hothead token on the field. If no monsters with Brawler in it's name are on the field or there are no available monster spots on the field, this card is sent to the graveyard.

Sandbag Effect: As long as this monster is face-up on the field, no other monster on your field may be targeted by a monster attack, monster effect, Magic Card, or Trap Card. When this monster is attacked, place one "Sand Counter" on this card. After there are 3 "Sand Counters" on this card, this card is sent to the Graveyard. You may then draw 3 cards from your deck and add them to your hand.

Effect of Judgment:This card can only be activated whenever Brawler Mr. Game and Watch is attacking. Roll a die. For 1, you lose 200 Life Points. For 2-5, multiply that number by 100 and subtract that number from your opponent's Life points. For 6, roll again. If the second number is 1, you gain 1000 Life Points. If the second number is 2, add that to 6, multiply by 100, and subtract that number from your opponent's Life Points. If the second number is 3, destroy the targeted monster and subtract 1000 Life Points from your opponent. If the second number is 4-6, subtract 600 Life Points from your opponent.

Effect of Mine:This card can only be activated whenever Brawler Solid Snake is on the field. Flip a coin 5 times. Heads equals 1 and tails equals 2. Starting from your farthest left Monster spot, count over the number of spaces equal to the total according to the coin. If it goes past your last monster spot, resume counting at your opponent's farthest left Monster spot. The monster on the spot where you stopped is now stuck with a Mine. If there is no monster, the first monster to be placed in that spot is stuck with the Mine.
320620x.jpg320620k.jpg320620a.jpg320620z.jpg

The reason I have the Stock Ball and Trophy Stand under here and not Items is because they don't appear outside of the Subspace Emissary.
320620n.jpg320620z.jpg320620zj.jpg320620.jpg320620z.jpg320620r.jpg320620w.jpg

AND MORE TO COME IN THE FUTURE!!!!

Hopefully my newer sorting method will make the cards easier to read lol. That's the goal at least.

As you can see in my sig, I don't really care too much about OCG unless it's so incredibly severe that it affects how one understands the card. So for the most part, I'm taking the same stance as the person doing the Touhou Project is (Complain about it and die). My main concern is that I made cards either OP or UP. If anything about an effect is unclear, ask and I'll answer and amend the card in question to avoid confusion. Let me know if you see anything that should be changed and I'll get on it if I agree. Same for if a card should be a trap instead of a magic or vise versa, or if you think a card can be categorized more specifically than just Magic or Trap. The pics are a little wonky looking because they get saved as rectangles, so when you put them in squares, they get squished and there's nothing I can do about it :/

So rate and comment! I look forward to see what you all have to say :)

huh I think you forgot warios bike. All I gotta say is hot dang my friend! This project is HUGE! Only reason you would care about OCG is for play ability in an actual duel lol. I do agree it's all for fun :D. Also darn there being so many brawl sets xD well time for old school! XD. For more monster with effect go with bosses or master hand. Field cards can be different stages. Other then that nice cards.

Yeah Bike is in there. It's on the second row under B. And I was wondering if I should do that...I probably will eventually.

Well' date=' these weren't exactly perfect (of course, nothing is), but I'll give you a 9/10 for sheer effort.

[/quote']

Yeah I wasn't going for perfect, just for getting this done lol. Thanks!

I'm sorry' date=' but was it really necessary to make a spell/trap card for [i']every big move in the game, even though there would only be one monster in the deck that could use each one?! I didn't even bother to read any of the spell/trap effects.

Yes. :)

lots of cards. So, you pot a sh!tload of effort into it, and I now to appreciate that.

Did you make the pics on your own? Or did you find them in the internet?

The OCG sounds terrible. Is that from 1995?

Well, take a look at the OCG thread and you should be fine! =)

Added Crate, Party Ball, and Blast Box, as well as fixed Capsule...no idea why I made it an equip. Probably forgot to change it from what the settings were on Smash Ball. I intended to add Poke Ball but at the moment I'm wondering how exactly I'm going to do that...since I'm not 100% sure if I'm going to make cards for all the Pokemon that come out of it. Quite a few really rare ones in there, and while you can take pictures of trophies, doing that seems like cheating to me =P

OCG is off but i applaud you for doing all of these cards' date=' I also know what it's like to publish card sets with over 100/200 cards...

[/quote']

Ah you said the forbidden words D:< But yeah...it's a hard life. Especially since like every single Narufag (pardon my language =P) decides to make their own set...no offense to you but still...there's got to be 2893428934 Naruto sets around -.- although I looked at yours and it's top notch. And this will probably be 500 or 600 cards when I get it ALL finished...very time consuming between this and school and all that stuff xP But it's fun to do and quite a few people enjoy it so it's worth the effort.

Added Beam Sword, Bob-omb, Bumper, Bunny Hood, and Poke Ball. Expect some more tonight since my homework won't take me long at all.

Well the OCG part makes sense considering none of the cards that I own were bought after the second season of Yu-Gi-Oh! so I'm still on old school OCG...sort of lol. And I used the handy dandy screenshot ability in SSBB, saved the cards to an SD card, and then since they are saved as .bin files (a huge mistake on Nintendo's part), I have to put them through a .bin image reader and then save them as .jpgs. So I took the pictures instead of making them or finding them. And yes, a sh*tload of effort is going into this project lol

good work!

Added Food, Franklin Badge, Freezie, Gooey Bomb, Green Shell, Hammer, Heart Container, Home Run Bat, Lightning, Lip's Stick, Maxim Tomato, Metal Block, Motion Sensing Bomb, and Mr. Saturn. That's 14. You better be thankful I did that many =P lol.

On another note, it would be great if someone would post after this one...this is a triple post and I don't want the mods on me, even though this is a legal bump. But still, A TRIPLE POST! I said comment, didn't I?!? As incentive, the next person to reply gets a +1 rep. BUT! You must also comment, not just say "reply" and actually read a few cards. Yes there's a lot, and that may be discouraging people from replying because they don't want to read 287 cards, but still. At least 10. That's all I'm asking for. 2 from each section! NOT HARD!

AAAAAAAND one last thing...

HOOK 'EM HORNS!!!! WOOOOOO!!!

I say Instead of making everyone moves make a smash ball this is my idea
Equip Spell card

effect:This card can only be equiped to a monster with "Brawler" in its name. Give the equiped monster 3000 ATK until the end of 3 Standby Phases. If you attack in between the 3 Standby Phases this card is destroyed. If you are attacked before you declare an attack this card is destroyed.

What you think?

IT HAS BEEN A WHILE FOLKS! And guess what! The items are finished, and also THIS SET HAS BROKEN 300 CARDS! WOOOO!

Added: Squirtle (I had this card finished long ago, it just never got it's way into the set for some reason...weird that nobody noticed too!), Hothead, Ray Gun, Screw Attack Badge, Sandbag, Smart Bomb, and all the items placed after Smash Ball in the list.

NOW THEN! The next chapter will be Final Smash cards, so GET EXCITED! This should be done in a week, maybe 9 days. So yeah. WOO!

Well it looks like the end is near...at least until I decide to make cards for all the other trophies in the game. Which I might...meh, who knows? ANYWAY!

Broke 400 and added all of the Subspace Emissary cards. So much for a day off. Assist Trophies are next!

This is also pro because this is my 100th post! YAY ME! d(^.^d)

Lastly...bump...OF JUSTICE!
