This set is based on the Nephilium monster, and here is a brief intro on them:

The name comes from the word "Nephilim", which in hebrew bible is some wicked fallen creatures.

Most of the monsters work upon removing other members in the Graveyard from play when summoned, so they have slightly more powerful effects and stats than other cards.

So, without further ado, the set:

New card(s)!

RSFR-EN007

Seval, Paladin of Nephilium

****

DARK

Warrior / Effect

ATK 1900 / DEF 1200

When this card is Summoned, remove 1 "Nephilium" monster in your Graveyard from play. If you do not, destroy this card. This card inflicts Piercing Damage. Once per turn, you can gain 200 Life Points for each removed from play "Nephilium" card.

Author's notes: This is another beatstick, yes, but not only that. This card actually has an equal ATK to swing with Piercing Damage as Spear Dragon has, plus an added bonus; you get 200 Life Points for each "Nephilium" you have removed, meaning that you will in most cases have the advantage in a nutrition battle. Remember that despite this card has a lot of good stuff, it is rather difficult to summon. But then, that's where the support cards come in.

RSFR-EN007

Malista, Mistress of Nephilium

****

DARK

Spellcaster / Effect

ATK 1200 / DEF 2200

When this card is Summoned, remove 1 "Nephilium" monster in your Graveyard from play and switch this card into Defense Position. If you do not, destroy this card. This card is unaffected by Trap Cards. This card can attack your opponent directly while in face-up Defense Position. If you do, apply half of its ATK for Damage Calculation.

Author's notes: I figured this set would be rather crippled by Level Limit Area B, plus I think that Evil Hero Infernal Sniper has such an intriguing effect, so I wanted something similar to my set, and here it is. This card is the first card I've seen that can attack directly while in Defense Position, and should your opponent try to destroy it with Mirror Force and the like, shame on them. This card is also the only card of the set that benefit from being set, allthough you could summon it normally at a price if you want to shoot your opponent right away.

RSFR-EN008

Nephilium Deal

16293g.jpg

Quick-Play Spell

Activate only while you control a face-up "Nephilium" monster. Discard 2 cards from your hand to destroy up to 2 cards on the field.

Author's notes: This is one of the best removal options this set is going to have, as you can discard 2 cards to destroy up to 2 cards on the field. Bear in mind that you have to discard from your hand, whatever the number of targets you have may be. However, you get to fill your graveyard to rid the field of some pests. Is that a good deal to you?

[spoiler=RSFR-EN001]

Oz, Crusader of Nephilium

16293p.jpg

***

DARK

Warrior / Effect

ATK 0 / DEF 0

This card cannot be Special Summoned. When this card is Summoned, remove 1 "Nephilium" monster in your Graveyard from play. If you do not, destroy this card. Any Battle Damage this card's controller takes from battles involving this card is reduced to 0. Any monster that battles with this card is destroyed at the end of the Damage Step. If this card would be destroyed by battle, you can send 1 "Nephilium" monster in your Deck to the Graveyard. If you do, it is not.

Author's notes: This card is one of the main monsters of the set, and one of its most powerful, too. It not only carries the ability to destroy any monster engaging it in battle when it attacks, but it also packs an effect that sends other "Nephilium" monsters in your Deck to the Graveyard, allowing the Nephiliums to be summoned easier. The "0 Damage" part is just another bonus.

[spoiler=RSFR-EN002]

Nataf, Sage of Nephilium

16293ci.jpg

****

DARK

Spellcaster / Effect

1600 / 1800

When this card is Summoned, remove 1 "Nephilium" monster in your Graveyard from play. If you do not, destroy this card. This card cannot be destroyed by Spell Cards. During your Draw Phase, instead of drawing, look at the top 3 cards of your Deck. Add 1 of those cards to your hand and send the rest to your Graveyard.

Author's notes: This card is also rather powerful, as it not only is indestructible when it comes to Spells, but as it also packs a nice ability when you're searching for just the right card, or simply want to mill yourself, plus it packs nice stats for its power. There's not really much more to say about it.

[spoiler=RSFR-EN003]

Medisteros, Lord of Nephilium

16293.jpg

*******

DARK

Fiend / Effect

2500 / 1700

When this card is Summoned, remove 1 "Nephilium" monster in your Graveyard from play. If you do not, destroy this card. Once per turn, you can send 2 "Nephilium" monsters: 1 from your hand and 1 from your Deck to the Graveyard to destroy 1 card on the field. If you do, this card cannot attack this turn. When this card is destroyed by battle, inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each "Nephilium" monster that is removed from play.

Author's notes: Slightly powerful this card as well. I don't like the new OCG introduced by Lava Dragon, but I figured I might as well should have it there. This card is extremely handy in this set, since you get to send additional Nephiliums to your graveyard, but also get to destroy a monster in the process. Your opponent will also take a rather high burn when it gets destroyed.

[spoiler=RSFR-EN004]

Lletes, Acolyte of Nephilium

16293w.jpg

**

DARK

Spellcaster / Effect

700 / 800

If you control a "Nephilium" monster, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. If you do, return up to 2 removed from play "Nephilium" monsters to their owner's Graveyard. When this card is destroyed by battle, send 1 DARK monster in your Deck to the Graveyard and draw 1 card.

Author's notes: This card is mainly a work engine for the set, as you get a free monster to sacrifice or defend yourself with, (in which case you can use its ability to draw a card and prepare for a new Summoning) plus you get to reset two Nephilium monsters in the process.

[spoiler=RSFR-EN005]

Nephilium Teachings

16293y.jpg

Normal Spell

This card can only be activated when 3 or more "Nephilium" monsters are removed from play. Return 2 of them to their owner's Graveyard to draw 3 cards, then send 2 cards in your hand to the Graveyard.

Author's notes: This card houses incredible draw power as you can well see, but it is rather restricted. The good8 thing is that you get to build up your strategies a lot, as you reset 2 of your removed from play Nephiliums, gets to dr8aw 3 more cards. You also have to send 2 cards in your hand to the Graveyard afterwards, though. But that can also help feed your summonings.

[spoiler=RSFR-EN006]

Eofol, Exorcist of Nephilium

16293n.jpg

***

DARK

Spellcaster / Effect

ATK 1700 / DEF 800

When this card is Summoned, remove 1 "Nephilium" monster in your Graveyard from play. If you do not, destroy this card. Once per turn, you can remove 1 "Nephilium" monster in your Graveyard from play to inflict 400 damage to your opponent for each removed from play "Nephilium" monster. When this face-up card is destroyed, remove it from play and draw 1 card.

Author's notes: Yet another powerful Nephilium, and this one is one of your main win conditions. You have to remove quite a lot of Nephiliums from your Graveyard though, which will slow down your Summonings, yet think about the incredible burn it causes. Once it's summoned and you use its effect, that's at least 2 cards removed from play, and that's 800 damage, but think about this card late game! That has got to hurt. Also works well with Lletes and Nephilium Teachings.

Thank you Jazin.

And Holmes' date=' when more cards from this set gets out, you'll see that this card is possibly overpowered. The main treat with it is that you set up for the set's strategies while destroying enemy monsters.

I was pretty much sure that it'd be like that. I can't wait to see the set.
