Okay like turn 1 you summon a gemni monster = it stays a normal monsters

 

turn 2 (your turn) instead of summoning a monster you activate a effect stayed in the gemni card get it now?

Let`s put it like this. A Gemini-monster can be normally summoned during turn 1. In turn 2 you summon it again, another normal summon and this time you can activate it`s effect.

just to add, i believe, after the "Second Summon" the effect says permanently until it gets destroyed.
