*facepalm*

from latest post:

bump. new deck added to first post. I wouldn't bother talking about the stall deck since that one's outdated.

from first post:

Ignore the above for now. I assure you' date=' i've made plenty of changes to that deck.[/b']

now, there's no swarm deck under deck types on yugioh wikia, so I didn't really know any good swarming cards. so this deck would probably be a VERY bad deck. the main card is the creator, but if you know a better card for swarming, by all means suggest it. I would like to request that any suggestions you make to this deck not be type-specific, attribute-specific, nor archetype-specific (so no six samurai deck, please).

I've already changed my stall deck to use cyber valley instead of wildheart. I bumped this thread to talk about my swarm deck I'm having trouble with. if you want to talk about my stall deck again, please wait until I've actually updated my deck here.

#1 "Swarm Deck" isn't a Decktype and won't win much. Most Decks should swarm and something like X-Sabers does swarming better than your Deck already.

#2 Covering Fire, Ultimate Offering, Card Trader, Super Conductor Tyranno, Kaiser Sea Horse, Foolish and Monster Reincarnation don't deserve a spot in that Deck even if Swarm Deck was a theme.

just because a deck needs a theme (which I'll agree with) does NOT mean they have to be same archetype, type or attribute. a final countdown deck does not have same archetype, type, nor attribute. neither does an exodia deck. nor a lockdown deck. nor a general burn/beatdown/mill/stall deck. nor quite a few decks on yugiohnetwork.com which I'm not sure what to call...

Every good deck on here has a theme. Granted that it's not always the same archetype, type, or attribute, some decks don't need them to be. But a swarm deck is one of the ones that does. Which yours doesn't have a win condition. (That doesn't count "Drop their LifePoints to 0 with attacks." because a Mirror Force will quickly make you cry.)

Final Countdown decks: Their focus is to last 10 turns to automatically win. No archetype, type, or attribute required.

Exodia decks: Have insane draw power and normally win on the first or second turn. Their focus is to finish with Exodia. No archetype, type, or attribute required.

Lockdown decks: They're designed to make it so that you're opponent can't do anything. Their is something on here called "Yata-lock" which clears their field and makes it so they can't draw, forcing them to scoop. No archetype, type, or attribute required.

General burn/beatdown/mill/stall deck: Won't last very long unless you're up against someone that JUST learned to play and doesn't read cards.
