[ALZ] Komplex Robotica - Support Cards for KA-2 Des Scissors (7/? 2 New Cards)

The first of hopefully more Komplex Robotica monsters. DARK Machine monsters that can be easily special summoned but only gain their effect when Normal Summoned. They are made to support my favourite real monsters, KA-2 Des Scissors and Needle Burrower.

 

[align=center]Komplex Robotica – Guard Dog

Effect:

During your Standby Phase or your opponent's Battle Phase, if you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card was Normal Summoned it gains the following effect: ● As long as this card remains face-up on its owners side of the field, its original ATK and DEF become 3000.

[spoiler=[b]How it works with KA-2 Des Scissors and Needle Burrower:[/b]]

- Level 8 means Trade-In Target just like Grinder Golem adding Draw Power to your Deck plus if it is destroyed by your KA-2 or Needle Burrower you inflict 4000 points of damage.

- It can be easily Special Summoned from your hand to give to your opponent with Creature Swap, Mystic Box or Shien's Spy

- You can give it to your opponent by Give and Take and then kill it easily

Komplex Robotica – Tank Lion

Effect:

When a monster is destroyed as a result of a battle and send to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon this card from your hand to that monster's controller's side of the field. Unless this face-up card was Normal Summoned and is face-up on its owners side of the field its ATK and DEF become 0 and the following effect is negated: * Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can discard 1 Machine-Type monster from your hand to destroy 1 card on the field.

[spoiler=[b]How it works with KA-2 Des Scissors and Needle Burrower:[/b]]

- Level 8 means Trade-In Target just like Grinder Golem adding Draw Power to your Deck plus if it is destroyed by your KA-2 or Needle Burrower you inflict 4000 points of damage.

- It can be easily Special Summoned from your hand and be immideatly given to your opponent. If combined with a double attack card like Miracle Locus you can kill it again, maybe even preform an OTK.

- You can give it to your opponent by Give and Take and then kill it easily

Komplex Robotica – Toy Mouse

Effect:

If you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. If this card was Normal Summoned, you can treat this card as 2 Tributes for the Tribute Summon of a DARK Machine-Type monster. If you Tribute this card for the Tribute Summon of a DARK Machine-Type monster, that monster cannot be destroyed by card effects.

[spoiler=[b]How it works with KA-2 Des Scissors and Needle Burrower:[/b]]

- Most important thing it does it it can be SS as a tribute for Needle Burrower and giving it a little advantage to boot.

- More of a Komplex Robotica Support Card, you can normal summon it, play Double Summon and tribute it for a Guard Dog or Tank Lion, getting a beatstick that can't be destroyed by a card's effect.

Komplex Robotica – Metal Cat

Effect:

You can Special Summon this card from your hand. When this card is Normal Summoned, you can select 1 DARK Machine-Type monster in your Graveyard with 1000 or less ATK and remove it from play. As long as this card remains face-up on the owner's side of the field, this card's name is treated as that monster's name, and it gains that monster's effect(s), ATK and DEF.

[spoiler=[b]How it works with KA-2 Des Scissors and Needle Burrower:[/b]]

- You can use it on KA-2 Des Scissor for recycling.

- But the most important thing it does is be a support card for Guard Dog. In Graveyard it has 0 ATK so you can remove it for Metal Cat. And because it Metal Cat was normal summoned it gains 3000 ATK from Guard Dog's effect.

Constant Machine Engineering

Effect:

Activated only by selecting 1 "Komplex Robotica" monster you control that was Special Summoned. The selected monster is threated as being Normal Summoned.

Kamikaze

Effect:

When a monster you control attacks a defence position monster your opponent control's, it is switched to attack position and its ATK becomes equal to the ATK of the attacking monster.

Constant Machine Engineering

Effect:

All DARK Machine Type monsters you control with 1000 ATK or less cannot be destroyed as a result of a battle.

 

[spoiler=[b]This card has 3 uses:[/b]]

- Main Use is of course protecting KA-2

- Use it in combo with KA-2 and Kamikaze for easy destruction (you could also add stumbeling)

- Stalling/Protection for your LP. Guard Dog and Tank Lion both can be Special Summoned during your opponent's Battle Phase for protection, if you also control this card you can make a indestructable shield. And Metal Cat and Toy Mouse also have 1000 or less ATK so you can stall great while waiting for the right OTK cards.

It doesn't need another effect. It is created to be killed by KA-2 and Needle Burrower, to be easily given to the opponent and not to be of any use to the opponent. It is created for combo's, not to be stand-alone.

Awesome support for awesome cards is awesome. Not sure if I'd run the last one' date=' since I'd focus more on speeding into an OTK with KA-2, maybe the second last one would be run, but mostly the first two for sure.

The last one is more added in as a side strategie, it can create an easy beatstick if you need it. If you play against a deck focusing on Remove Brainwashing you would die if you can't kill it.

The main strategie yes, but there also is the side strategie of summoning beatsticks. I have used KA-2 in many decks and the strategie of lowering your opponent's monster's ATK doesn't work. Maybe if get more Reptilianne support and Reptile-Type support you could fit it in in a Reptilianne deck but otherwise it doesn't work. Yes, with Riryoku you can kill any monster your opponent's control and deal damage but it is to slow of a burn. To give KA-2 Decent support I made support for the strategie I already can use best in Real Life.
