Two Songs By Me.

As I said in my Intro Thread, I'm a musician. I make primarily electronic music of all subgenres, but sometimes I'll stray into other genres.

This first song is jazz. I did a full cover of Josef Zawinul's song "Mercy, Mercy, Mercy."

The second song is Dubstep, entirely by me. I used the intro to The Twilight Zone at the beginning, which in my opinion is a nice touch.

Oh my~ I just saw this thread now, damnit.>.>

1st on: Tbh I don't know the original... And it doesn't really sound Jazz anymore. I think there are some sound fixes that need to be made. IMO the riffs and overall background sound like scratching something on something raw, it's not really pleasant to hear.:S

2nd: I liked that one a few notches more! Experimental Ambient-ish Trance or something? But it's got something, of course it's a one-man-project so you can't expect some really great studio finition.

Some shortness could've worked here though. It becomes more interesting when the laughter and the melody come in but before it seems a bit "tied into the length"... But that's probably just me.:)

But it's quite an interesting sound you've got here, just keep it going!

Thanks for the comments. The first one, as I said in the video description, is inspired by the version my school's jazz band does, which is why it doesn't exactly sound jazzy.

For the second, the genre is called Dubstep. I tried to make it a good dance song that club folk could get down to long and hard, which is why it can seem so long when just sitting and listening.

Thanks again.
