When this card is Normal Summoned, you can tribute 1 Beast-Type monster on your side of the field to destroy all face-down cards on the field. When this card is selected as an attack target, you can pay 500 Life Points to Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Beast-Type monster from your Deck and switch the attack target to that card. That effect is what makes it overpowered. There are a lot of things you can summon, like Berserk Gorilla or Giant Rat.
