As some of you may know, I joined YCM May of last year. At first I was a horrible card maker until N.D.L. made me who I am on here. I may not be the greatest, but I always do my best. The cards I'm about to show you are the best and the worst cards I've ever made while being on YCM.

 

The first set I ever made. As I progressed from being a newb to the card maker I'm today I added more cards to this set.

[spoiler=Lore]This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play three Warrior-Type monsters in your Graveyard.

Once per turn, during your Main Phase 1, toss a coin and activate the appropriate effect:

Heads: You gain 1000 Life Points.

Tails: You lose 100 Life Points for each card on your field and in your Graveyard.

[spoiler=Lore]This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by Tributing 3 EARTH monsters. During your Standby Phase, toss a coin and activate the appropriate effect:

- Heads: This card gains 500 ATK and DEF, until your End Phase.

- Tails: This card is switched to Defense Position and its battle position cannot be changed until the end of the next turn.

[spoiler=Lore]This card can't be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play three Warrior Type monsters from your Graveyard. This card's ATK and DEF are equal to the number of Warrior Type and Beast-Warrior Type in your hand and Graveyard x 300. Once per turn during your Battle Phase, toss a coin and call it:

If you call it right: This card gains 500 ATK until the End Phase of your opponent's next turn.

If you call it wrong: This card loses 500 ATK until the End Phase of your opponent's next turn.

[spoiler=Lore]The Fusion Material for this card are any 5 different Warrior-Type monsters. When this card attacks, remove 1 Warrior-Type monster in your Graveyard from play. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, add 1 of the Warrior-Type monsters you removed from play by this card's effect to your hand.

[spoiler=Lore]The Fusion Material Monsters for this card are any 5 different "The Dragon from the" monsters. During your Draw Phase roll a six-sided die. The number you roll determines the effect you can use this turn.

1: Pay 1000 Life Points to destroy up to 3 Spell or Trap Cards your opponent controls.

2: Remove 1 monster your opponent controls from play. During the second End Phase after this effect was activated, Special Summon the removed from play monster.

3: Draw a card during your Standby Phase.

4: Gains 300 ATK for each face-up WATER monster on the field.

5: Pay 1000 Life Points to attack your opponent directly.

6: Gain 300 Life Points for each monster you control.

When this is summoned (including special summon and flip summon) you can add to your hand 1 "The Dragon from the" from your deck or Graveyard at the cost of half the selected monsters ATK When this card is destroyed by battle you can return this card back to your hand at the cost of 1000 Life Points.

[spoiler=Lore]This card can't be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play "The Dragon from the Elements" from your Graveyard. This card can only attack if you RFP a "The Dragon from the" monster from your hand or Graveyard. Once during the duel, you can destroy 1 card your opponent controls for each "The Dragon from the" monster that is removed from play. During your End Phase, toss a coin and activate the appropriate effect.

If you call it right your must opponent skips their turn.

If you call it wrong, you must skip your next turn.

When this card attacks, toss a coin and activate the appropriate effect:

- Heads: This card can attack your opponent directly.

- Tails: You take damage equal to this monster's ATK.

[spoiler=Lore]This card cannot be destroyed by battle. When this card is attacked while in DEF mode, toss a coin and activate the appropriate effect:

- Heads: The attack is negated.

- Tails: You lose life points equal to the ATK of the attacking monster.

-Draw two cards.

The enemy of the army of darkness. They try to destroy the darkness.

[spoiler=Lore]This card can only be equipped to a "from the Light" monster. The monster equipped to this card gains ATK equal to half their original ATK and cannot be destroyed by battle (Battle Damage is applied normally) If the monster equipped to this card is a level 5 or higher you can tribute that monster to summon any God Card from your hand. When you activate that effect you can pay life points equal to half of the equipped monster's ATK to put this card back in your deck then shuffle your deck.

This is an incomplete set that I had high hopes for.

[spoiler=Lore]When this card is Summoned, including Special Summoned and Flip Summoned, destroy all monsters your opponent controls and inflict Damage to your opponent for every card destroyed x300. When this card attacks, put a Fire Master counter on this card (Max. 3). Remove 3 counters from this card to Special Summon any monster from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard.

This is the card I made just for contests.

[spoiler=Lore]"Summoned Skull" + "Dark Magician"

Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 DARK monster for this card to gain ATK equal to the removed from play monster's. When this card is destroyed by battle, you can Special Summon any monster you removed from play by this effect.

The OCG thread is useless. It gives wrong advice... I'd just ask someone to rate your OCGSP.

 

I don't like rating a bunch of cards with a generalized statement, and single-card ratings would take forever. I glanced your set over. If you'd like to shoot me a PM w/a few cards on there, I'll do a gigantic critique.

 

All I can say is that your OCGSP is pretty darn good, but your concepts aren't. You need to get a good idea before expanding on it to make a set.
